Chapter 3: 3 - Becoming Bodyguards?
I slowly looked at the 3 girls in front of me. The scene almost reminds me of the past but it was missing something, or rather certain people. Ara and Everest went to great Aella after the cabin notified us that she woke up. After picking her up from Terra, she had been unconsciously until a few minutes ago.
- FLASHBACK -
The wind was blowing in my face as I ran through the forest in Terra. We were planning on how to approach Aella without her creeping out but unfortunately that was not possible. We just received a message from one of the crows that were sent to watch her that she was getting beaten again. This time however, she was on the verge of death. The group immediately set off from their quarters to Aella's location. After being beaten, the father might have thought that she was dead and disposed her corpse in a nearby forest in fear of getting caught.
They ran through the forest in an inhumane speed. Because of their constant practice in magic, their body has also strengthen along with their speed. Their speed could now be compared with a cheetah's fastest speed.
When they got there, Aella was lying on the ground with countless bruises on her skin. Her breath was shallow, and her lips was almost transparent.
" Aella, Aella, AELLA!" Ara yelled.
Lucy quickly runs over and carry her bridal-style, she started casting spells to try warming her freezing body up.
' Her body is freezing.' Lucy said telepathically.
Multiple thoughts ran through their heads. They were all going to rip this father of hers into threads.
" It's okay now. When you wake up, we will make sure that they will never do to you that to you again. not that you will stay here forever." Ivar whispered threateningly.
After that, Aella's face morphed into a painful expression making the group panic.
' Let's not waste our time here, we need to go back before he unlocks her memories." They all nodded.
After Aella falls asleep, Ara then started to cast a spell making a portal that leads them to their cabin in NightStar Forest. The spell was cast in a matter of seconds, multiple magic circles then surrounded the group leading them to the centre of the NightStar Forest.
When they open their eyes, they were all greeted with lushing green trees that go up to the clouds. Lucy immediately runs to Aella's cabin, laying her injured body on the bed. Ara went to the connected bath to draw a bath for Aella, while Everest went to get some fresh herbs from the greenhouse to make potions. The rest of the group chose to seat in the main area, too afraid to be a bother.
After bathing the unconscious Aella, Lucy once again carried her to the bed. She then slowly scanned through her entire body, noticing every little scar and bruise. The pair grimaced at the sight, they were all too worried that Aella would take her last breathe on their way here that they totally forgot about her misshaped and abused body.
Ara then coved Aella's body with the blanket waiting for Everest to arrive with the potions.
During the wait, Lucy lightly inspected Aella's body.
' She has 6 broken ribs, left hand broken, and countless bruises'
' I now wonder if her father has mental problem. An alcoholic can't do that much damage when they're drunk. I'll sent the information over to Tinu and let her investigate.' Ara said making Lucy nod.
After a while, Everest barged through the door carrying different types of potions along with herbs. She then started to check Aella's body throughly. After that, she started to applied medicine to certain spots, and bandage her broken limbs. She also fed the potions to Aella. The potions are antibiotics with healing properties that can be considered to be unreal. After 3 days, all her bruises and scars would disappear.
As for her broken body parts, Everest used her magic to align them back together with the help of herbs. After she was done, she went back to her own cabin to rest.
Healing magic is considered to be extremely rare. Unlike holy magic, they are apart of the Earth element. Of course not every Earth mage would be able to heal but Everest was of course an exception. Healing magic is much more effective than holy magic but few people knew. Because so little people has this ability, people with holy magic are considered to be saints.

For the last 3 days, all of the injuries on Aella's body disappeared.
The next morning they got notified that Aella woke up, some started cheering, while others ran to her cabin. The oldest two, Tinuviel and Lucy was making breakfast while the rest was drinking coffee or was trying to calm themselves.
After 15 minutes, they finally sense 3 figures walking to the main area. The 4 girls turn their gaze to look at the door, noticing the knob slowly twist and the door lowly opens. Then a girl with a better complexion walked in smiling. They all stared at each other for half a minute before Lucy greeted her.
" Good to finally see you awake."
" Good to see you too."
After that, Blaze and Ivar ran over to hug the girl.
" Aella, you're finally here!"
" We all missed you!"
" It's been so long." Aella said hugging them tightly. The 3 then started rambling about how they missed Aella but no one could figure out what they were talking about because of their speed. The 3 then stayed in their own little world for 10 minutes before Tinuviel interrupted the conversation.
" Yes, yes, we definitely could understand but we don't know the meanings behind those gibberish words so be a dear and stop talking like that, alright?"
" Yes, of course." The 3 immediately nodded, too scared to uttered anymore.
" Good, now that we have all unite with each other. How about some breakfast?" Lucy said showing the various treats in the kitchen.
They all nodded and started to bring out the food to the dining table. They then all started having breakfast and catching up with each other.

Not far from the girl's living location, 2 figures were standing on a tree branch looking over to their direction. After a while, they jumped down the tree and slowly walk away.
" Are those kids the one we've been looking for?" a tall figure asked.
" Yes, milord. They are the one that was named in the prophecy." another masculine voice answered.
" Investigate all of them throughly. Make sure to sent some of your underlings to watch them. If they mess up anything then your entire clan is done." Then the male disappeared.
" Of course, milord" The 2nd man bowed, mentally sighing then disappeared as well.

After finishing breakfast, they all moved to their strategic room hidden behind one of the rooms. They then seated at their respective spot.
" Aella once again welcome back." Lucy said making Aella nod.
' We will be talking telepathically like our normal ones.' Tinuviel announced.
' Before making any plans, let me explain Caelum's current situation. We died in year 734, and the war continued on for another year before it got forcibly ended by the God. So in total, the war lasted 60 years and about 2 000 000 soldiers from different races died. After the war, the remaining population of each race was very limited. Each race agreed to divide the land in the 4 continents equally, and make the Land of the Unknown a neutral race area. Each race then voted for a new leader, and once again build their own kingdom. They also renamed the fifth continent to Sterier, and most of the places here. The dragon, elves, sprites, gnomes, goblins, demons, and the human race occupied most other mainland, while the fairies build their kingdom on top of clouds, and marine species occupied the sea. In total there are about 12 countries, some that we currently don't know if it exists or not.'
They all nodded letting the information soaked in. With over 12 countries, how were they suppose to killed all those souls. There could be a possibility of endangering civilians and they don't want that. They only want to take revenge on all the people who participate in war, to be specific the leaders.
' Some souls are able to act on their own and that should be our number priority, please remember that we dont want to drag the civilians into this. It has been over 30 years after the war end, and all the races are still suffering. '
They all looked at each other and nodded.
' So what should we do first?' Ara asked.
' I think we should establish a foundation first. We need money and equipment to be able to gain information. There's a limit to what we could do on our own.' Tinuviel suggested.
' I agree. With this appearance of ours, we can be consider as teenagers even though we are all over 80 years old. We can definitely find a good job.'
' Yeah and with our current magic level, we should be able to live for a long time so we could make a steady and strong background. So does anyone know what job we should first take?'
' The human country, Etren is hiring personal bodyguard for their princes. Maybe we can start there.'
" WHAT!" They unconsciously shouted at Blaze.
' You want us to be bodyguards for royals who may be mentally twisted?' Ara asked.
It is a fact that they learnt to hate royals. The royals in the past would secretly backstabbing them while openly pampering them.
' The rumours said that the prince are generous to their citizens and is loved by everyone so I thought we could start form there.'
' You suggested that from hearing rumours. Blaze, do you have amnesia? Don't you remember what those bastards did to us?' Ivar said as she walks over to Blaze then shaking her shoulders.
' But what she said might be a... a good start.' Tinuviel quietly said. Suddenly, 6 pairs of eyes looks at her.
' Well that might be true. How about we investigate them first, if they really are what the rumour says then we might consider it. I'm also pretty sure that those kids' magic level wont be that high.'
In the end, they all decided to the plan.
They also thought it was a coincidence that there are 7 princes.
Well it truly doesn't matter whether, they will leave the country when they fulfilled their goal.
