Ananya's p.o.v.
As I entered the canteen my eyes met with a smiling Rakesh. We took a nearby table.
"Hi"
"Oh, hi."
"Please have a sit."
"Thanks."
"Not a problem."
We ordered the food for us.
"Hey"
"Hey, Diya. Come, let's join us."
"Thanks."
"Ananya meet Diya. She works in the finance department. And Dia she is Ananya, new.."
"New PA of our super hot MD."
"Unfortunately, yes," I replied boringly.
"Hello! Don't say that again here. Girls are gonna kill you for that. They are already jealous of you."
"Why? Which terrible crime have I committed?"
" You are saying that working as Arjun's PA is unfortunate for you?"
"And what's so wrong with it? Ummm.. leave it his employees are also will be like him, abnormal."
"Good confession, Ananya," Rakesh said teasingly.

I rolled my eyes at them.

Seems like their chitchat is going to go on till my head don't get a headache.

I was going to say something but Rakesh cut in.
"She knows. She is his PA."
"Come on, it's just only two days. But I am working here for almost 3 months and you for 5 months. And he deserves this appreciation."

Both of them were looking at me with questioning eyes.
"Look maybe you have seen his outside. None of us know how he is from inside."
"But he looks like a good genuine person. Yeah a little rude and I also got scolded by him but still I can say he is good from heart."

"Really? It's ok that you are saying this today but just make sure you don't start falling for him. His aura is too hard to refuse."
And they both started laughing like maniacs making me more irritated.
"Have you both gone mad? He is such an arrogant rude self-centered, selfish, bad-mannered person. And he is the same form inside too. If he is even the last person alive on earth I would prefer to kill him instead of falling for him. And his charm, and looks can work on other stupid girls but not on me. I am not that stupid." Finally, I stopped.
"Are you sure?"

Suddenly I came to my realization. The voice. I looked at the people in front of me. Their faces have become pale and they are looking at something behind me and tension is clear in their eyes. I looked backward.
Here is the culprit standing himself.
Suddenly my heart started beating so fast I don't know for what maybe because of the fear that he heard everything or for some other reason. I stood up abruptly but in this process, my heels slipped. I lose balance and seems like I going to fall straight kissing the earth along with my chair.
But no I have not fallen. I felt a tight grip on my both arms. As I looked upward. I stopped at his eyes. His brown eyes are so deep. It holds an unknown emotion. It's like they want to say something to me.
I balanced myself.
"Careful Ms. Roy, you were falling." His husky voice ranged in my ear sensually. He smirked.
"And one more thing just be careful don't let my work suffer because of your stupid chitchat. I won't compromise with that. I won't think twice before taking steps against you."
And he left leaving me dumb.
I just wished the earth swallowed me at that moment. Ugh, I hit the chair.
" Spare the poor chair, Ananya. It's neither gonna save you from him nor it told you to get in trouble."
I glared at him.
"But what was he doing here anyway? He never comes here. I haven't seen him coming to the office canteen since I am working."
"Come on, Diya. It's his office he can go wherever he wants to. But the problem is how much he has heard."
That's my question too. What if he heard everything? Oh, God.
So what? If he has heard. It is not like I care too much. Let him listen. Then he could understand how bad he is.
"Relax, guys whatever bad there were I said them. You haven't said anything bad about him. So he will get angry at me. By the way, I need to leave now or else he will take 'steps' against me." I said a little mockingly.
They smiled. I took the bill to pay.
"Hey, don't. I am gonna pay. It's our first lunch together so think it's a congratulatory treat from me to you."
"And you will get a treat from me too."
I can't stop smiling.
"Don't be so happy. We also want one from you for your new job."
"And we are going to let you go easily without the treat."
"Of course, any day, and thank you so much Rakesh for the lunch."

Arjun's p.o.v.
As I was leaving for the meeting I got stopped on my way by a view. I saw Ananya talking excitedly about something with two more employees from the glass wall of the canteen.
My legs took me towards that in curiosity. No how can my legs be curious it's my brain. What disturbing thoughts!
As I came near them I understood the topic is none but me. The other two employees are praising me. And as usual, she is opposing me according to her habit. How amusingly she is condemning me sitting in my office canteen, working for me that too in this low volume that I can hear from this far.
It's not like I was bothered by her words. It's normal for me now, I have gotten used to her those words except only one word. As she was going to say something breaking I know what she meant but she stopped. I tried to ignore it. But every time I somehow got hurt by her accusation.
But the question from her friend made me forget that.
"Really? It's ok that you are saying this today but just make sure you don't start falling for him. His aura is too hard to refuse."
Curiosity again rose in me. But somehow I know her answer. And I was right.

Instead of getting annoyed, I got amused by her way of talking. And automatically a sentence left my mouth.
"Are you sure?"
Her face was clearly showing her tension. She didn't expect me. My sudden appearance made all of them got tensed. I liked it. Their face was really treated to watch that time. I wanted to laugh.
But suddenly my would-be killer slipped. I was quick to catch her in my arms. And for some time I felt like there were only her and me and no one else. But as I felt the glaring around us l left her. And again automatically my mouth left another useless sentence with a smirk.
"Careful Ms. Roy, you were falling."
I don't know what happened to my mouth today. It's saying everything automatically.
But the next moment I took control of my mouth.
"And one more thing just be careful don't let my work suffer because of your stupid chitchat. I won't compromise with that. I won't think twice before taking steps against you."
Yes. Now it's ok. I left that place without wasting time anymore.
But that hold was just something else. Her soft delicate skin felt so soft that it seemed like if I grip it more tightly it will just melt like chocolate. And her sweet lavender smell felt heavenly. Her innocent eyes I just wanna lost in them forever.
And then I realized that for the first time, I touched her, hold her so closely, our very first touch. A small smile automatically crept on my lips.
"Sir."
"Sir."
I came out of my thoughts. My driver was looking at me from the driving seat with a little shocked face. I realized I am smiling weirdly. I brought back the serious look on my face.
"What?"
"We have reached."
I looked outside. Yeah, I have reached my destination.
I get off the car. I took the fresh air. It was such a pleasant day today.
