Chapter 1: Dreams of Death
Black flames ignite in a magic circle. They are as bright as the sun but as dark as night. Around the circle of flame, stands men in robes.
[Man 1: The flames signifying life and death. Give us the ability to see this through and through. The rebirth of power, and the death of the weak. Show us the true power of god.]
The flames burst around the room burning everyone and everything...
10 flashing images of death appear in Kori's mind. He wakes up with the scent of food in the air in his dark small room. He stands up out of his bed and stares at the clock on his desk across his room.
[Kori: 11:00 am. I would normally be at school, but that's a waste of time. That dream I had..]
Kori noticed he still had tears on his eyes from when he woke up crying. He wipes them away and heads downstairs.
Like normally, his family was not there. They head out really early; his sister has school, while his parents are busy at work.
[Kori: All the breakfast is gone..]
Kori stands in silence thinking why no one left him any food. But, he is not surprised. Well, shouldn't be anyways. His family never leaves him with anything to eat.
Kori walks back upstairs to play video games, but than feels a sharp pain in his stomach. He thought maybe he was more hungry than he thought.
He walks down the stairs to the door; and put on his shoes to go to the market.
[Kori: Geez, I need new shoes.]
Kori always had a laid back personality, his eyes were as bright as the stars, but his face more serious than an army general. His brown spiky hair ran across his head and down his neck. He never left the house much, not for anything.
Kori opens the door and fire comes with it. The world is-..
[???: Kori, wake up!! Kori!! Hey, Kori!!]
Kori opens his eyes a little bit as tears come out with it. He sees his little sister Nade standing over him. With her brown hair reaching a little below the shoulders and her cute face that resembles nothing of how Kori looks. He always wondered how they were related.
[Nade: Brother get up, we have school! Do you want to make us late?]
[Kori: No, I'm sorry.]
School huh? Kori thought to himself. He looks at the clock and it says 11 am.
[Nade: Why are you crying? Did you have a bad dream?]
[Kori: Yeah, I think I did, but its alright now.]
Kori has memories from people he doesnt even know. [Was it part of the dream?] he thought. A girl with red hair, a guy with blue hair, two other girls with green and white hair; and a guy and girl with brown hair. He knew that he knows none of these people. Yet, why did he see them die like it was a memory he just remembered. In that one dream... No, that makes it 11. 11 flashing dreams of death...
