Chapter 369: Hidden under a veil

Upon reaching home, Kyle threw the shopping bags into the closet and tiredly collapsed on the bed. His scent still lingers on her dress; probably it happened when he hugged her in the trial room. She can't believe the misogynist initiated the hug this time. Each passing day, her feelings are turning stronger for him. Kyle wished she could open Kurt's brain and see if he feels at least something towards her. ''Does he like me? Obviously, it's a no. One-sided loves are pathetic.'' 

Just then, Kyle heard her favorite song, the ringtone she set for her mobile. Her heart hammered into the chest as she looked at the number. She gripped the mobile in her hands tightly, pondering what to speak when she hears his voice. Fanning her face, she lifted the call. ''Hell..''

''What took you so long to lift my call?'' His barking voice hovered over hers.
