Chapter 14: Demon Planets!
The Demon Planets as the name suggest is a planet of demons. But unlike the demon's described in mythological books and fantasy novels with horns, sharp pointed teeth, hard black skin that looks like that of reptiles and small weird eyes, the people of demon planet were humans with normal clear skin and features same as that of any normal human.
The entire Milky Way Galaxy is divided into two groups. The group containing Light Mana and another group containing Dark Mana.
After the extinction of the human race from Planet Earth and the thriving of humans in different planets. They started developing energies or magic that are both dark and light. At first, for few eras having both energies in one place and in one person were common. They were not so badly differentiated as they are now. Both kinds of people were living in harmony. But things changed. Later people having dark energies or mana were seen as evil.
Many stories were published where the villain has the dark mana. Hence, they became a subject of discrimination and torture.
Later the condition of the people having dark mana became so horribly pathetic that to save their own lives they have to go into hiding. They formed their own group of people consisting of dark mana and went to live on a different planet, far from these planet containing people of light mana.
Dark mana is the same as that of light mana. The difference is that when the energy flows from their body it comes out in dark in color. The dark mana is in much-concentrated form hence is more powerful than light mana. Also, it is easy to perform 'forbidden magic' such as necromancy, cursing, etc, for the people having dark mana. Hence the people of dark mana are feared and hated.

Planet Lingyun is situated in the middle of these two groups. It is the only place where both light and dark magic exists. Planet Lingyun is a planet and a school for different groups of students consisting of both dark and light mana.
Liu Yifei is twelve-year-old and has to begin her elementary education in this planet.
She alighted from the military spaceship coming from planet Rui along with other students coming to Lingyun for studies.
Planet Lingyun is a very diverse planet providing a lot of opportunities to the students. Here they are honed to overcome their fears and with so much diversity, they get accustomed to deal with every type of person. Therefore, high-class family of every planet send their successors or any potential candidates to this Planet to strengthen their shortcomings.
Because this planet has mostly the people or students from the upper class, they don't really get preferential treatment. Every student studying in Lingyun is treated equally.
But one thing that divided Planet Lingyun in two-class is the mana- light and dark mana.
Students having dark mana forms one group and students having light mana form one group.
Liu Yifei landed on the Planet Lingyun and took in the scenery in front of her. This planet was a natural planet with its own seasons and air. Looking at the blossoming trees around her she could guess that it was spring. It was the planet which is at the center of all the other discovered planets. The 'Light Planets' are generally near the sun. that's why they are warmer than the 'Demon Planets' which are relatively farther from the sun.
Lingyun being in the middle, has a moderate temperature. Perfect for her.

Liu Yifei saw hover cars stationed with logos of her new school Lingyun Elementary School (LES).
She walked towards it and after showing her identification card to the driver, she got inside it.
There were at least 20 hover cars stationed outside and each occupying 6-7 students. Liu Yifei was early and there was no one in her hovercar. Few minutes passed and students started pouring in the hovercar. She took one glance at everyone and put on her headphone.
For her they were innocent, reckless children who still smelled like milk. Liu Yifei didn't know what would she talk about with them. It has been years since she had seen some news on a celebrity or followed any fashion trend. What were the trends when she was twelve, she had completely forgotten it? she was neither interested in it nor wanted to know about it. she was reborn to fulfill only one purpose of her life. To punish, to avenge.
Soon they all reached the school. Liu Yifei alighted from her hovercar and looked around. The whole school was painted in white. It was a combination of the past and the present. This school was established thousand of years ago hence most of the buildings seemed ancient to her.
Even though the buildings seemed ancient, it was equipped with the latest technologies.

"Hi, I am your instructor, May. I am here to give a brief on your enrollment test." Liu Yifei heard a sweet feminine voice and turned towards that direction.
There was a lady in grey military kind of suit, with black crop hair and big sparkling eyes.
'She should be from Lingyun Military Service.' Liu Yifei thought.
LES was mainly a military training school where students from all over the place come to get train. Later they are given the choice to join Lingyun military or go back to their own planet. Planet Lingyun's military service is top-notch. Even being in between two opposing sides, it favors no one. That's why with time, the number of attacks on this planet from both sides has increased drastically. It was said that later Lingyun had trained thirty outstanding soldiers who had defeated an entire army of twenty thousand people. Since then the attacks gradually decreased and Lingyun strengthen its army. Now, nobody really wanted to challenge its army.
"There are four parts to this enrollment test. Intelligence, Stamina, Strength, and Speed. You will be given ten minutes break after each test to prepare yourself for the next test."
Liu Yifei listened to it with concentration. This was exactly like a military test, she thought. It was good for her though. Even though she has her intelligence, her strength and stamina were not up to par. To defeat her enemy she has to be an all-rounder.
