Chapter 3: A New Friend
Mia POV.
I woke up around 9:00 am and so I decided to start my day.
I head to the the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a hot shower. When I'm done I put my hair a high bun. Which was extremely difficult because my hair was long, curly and puffy!
After doing my hair I start my makeup. The look was pretty simple and yet it still looked amazing. I head to my closet while wrapped in my towel. What should I wear? I thought to myself.
While looking through the closet I decided to wear a blue rip skinny jeans with a pink Fashion Nova crop top. I place my blue denim jacket on and head to my jewelry box.
I pick out some small pink hoop earrings with a black chocker and my white wrist watch. I made my bed then placed my white Adidas tennis on.
After I head downstairs to make me a small breakfast. I put bread in the toaster and took out some peanut butter. When the toast was finish I applied the peanut butter on the bread and got a bottle of water out the fridge.
I head back up stairs to get my purse and phone along with it's headphones and it's charger.
while holding everything in my hand I head to the main floor and leave my apartment complex.
I get in my car and start to drive off still managing to eat.
I connected my phone to my cars Bluetooth and I call Cara. It rang three times before it went out.
"Did you miss me last night" I ask while smiling.
Cara: "Yep but what are you gonna do today?"
"I'm gonna drive around and buy somethings for the house what about you?"
Cara: "I got a date with Jin"
"Alright make sure text me what your wearing so I can be the judge"
Cara: "Sure thing bye love you"
"Love you too"
The phone hangs up and I decide to play some music while driving.
Where to first? I ask myself. Maybe the mall.
I head to the mall while bopping to music.
When I finally arrive to the mall I get out of the car and fix my clothes while picking my purse and phone up.
Maybe some clothes shopping and beach wear and then maybe the food court because I'm starving.
I start to make my way to the entrance of the mall while getting glances from men. Like I know I'm good looking but I mean am I really that much of a good looking person.
I arrive to my destination and walk into the beach wear store. I go in and start looking around. Maybe something to showcase my curves. I pick out a blue and white two piece bikini and decided to try it on.
I go to the dressing room and try it on. It fit's perfectly I love it! I try on a few more and soon I left the store with about 4 shopping bags.
I then make my way over to a Fashion Nova store.....And I mean come on anyone who knows me can tell you that I love fashion Nova. I walk in and as soon as I did a helper came up to me.
Helper: "Hi I'm Lisa do you need any help?"
"Yes please can you show me to the sporty sections I need new workout outfits"
Lisa: "No problem it's my job"
She took me over to the sports section and helped me pick out outfits for the gym. She's so good that I even ended up buying more than I attended.
After I had enough of trying on clothes she walked me to the cashier. As I was paying another worker came up to her to told Lisa she could go on a lunch break for 2 hours.
"Hey if you want I am going to the food court you can come"
Lisa: "sure that would be great"
"Ok" I responded with a smile on my face. She then goes behind the counter to check out my clothes.
Lisa: "That will be $789"
I pay her and now my pockets are hurting but atleast I will soon be able to make my own money.
She goes to the back to collect her stuff and we head out of the shop to the food court.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked while looking at her.
Lisa: "Maybe we can get Panda Express if thats okay with you."
"Okay then Panda Express it is"
She giggles at my response which cause me to laugh to. We ordered food and it was soon time for her to get back to work so we exchanged numbers and she headed back to work.
As I was walking to my car I bumped into someone. I looked up to see a good looking man in his early twenties. He had brown hair and was quite tall and buff.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you"
"It's okay and my name is Jonah....nice to meet you..."
"Mia"
Jonah: "nice to meet you Mia where are you from"
"Oh I'm actually from Bu-"
Before I could get another word out I was interrupted by some clearing their throat. I turn to be faced by a tall buff raven haired man. And oh my God did he have a face of an angel.
But besides him looking very handsome he had a cold express to his face and just by his looks you could tell he held authority.
Jonah: "Mia this is my boss Jeongguk but it was nice meeting you but I must be leaving."
"Ok bye"
Jeongguk pushed passed me and went to his car. I can tell he's loaded because he wore a suit and his car was huge.
I open my car door and place everything I bought inside the back seat. I close the door shut and then opened the drivers door. I sat down and placed my seat belt on I start my car and drive off.
Jeongguk POV.
As I was heading back to the car I was met with my driver and my right hand also known as Jonah talking to some girl.
I walk up to him pissed because I thought he had started the car. I was about to cuss him and the girl he was talking to until I heard her sweet voice. At first I thought she was a foreigner but she was too fluent in Korean to be.
I cleared my throat and saw Mia jump a little as she was startled. I give Jonah the look and he says his goodbye to Mia.
I get a good look at her once I'm in the car and she is definitely mixed. I could see she has long curly brown hair. She was a lightskin and average height. And to top it off she was very curvy but also kind of skinny.
I felt this weird feeling in my stomach. I shake my head and a smile appears on my face as she gets in the car and drives off.
I felt jealousy as I saw her hug Jonah before she left. I don't like to share what's mine!
As Jonah enters the car I give him the sly smile that I always give him when I'm about to do something mischievous.
Jonah: "Oh lord what is it now."
"Find out everything about her.....where she lives her family her friends her job.....and keep an eye on whats mine. Now drive me home!"
Jonah: "Yes sir"
I smile to myself and I couldn't help but to imaging her warmth under me and her calling me babe.
