Chapter 3: I don't want to see him.
For about an hour, Ryuchen did nothing but stare and kiss Chloe's hand. His heart is aching every time he sees Chloe's wound and bruises. He hopes that she will wake up immediately. He wants to talk to her. He has a lot to ask her.
A few hours later Ryuchen received a call. He saw Lyka's name on the screen of his phone. He has no plans to answer, but since she has been calling several times, he has no choice but to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Ryu?" he frowned when he heard her crying. "Where are you? I... I need you."
His face darkened when he heard what she said. Why does she need him? Nothing bad happened to her and she's totally fine before he left her.
'Doesn't it seem like my wife needs me more than her!'
"What happened now?" he asked with a sigh.
"There... there are people outside my apartment. I don't know who they are, they keep knocking on the door. What if they want to kidnap me again? What if now.... they want to kill me. Ryu, I'm scared."
He doesn't know what he will do that time. He doesn't know what Lyka's plan is right now, but she's still a woman and right now she needs his help.
He sighed.
This will be the last time he will help her. Besides, she's still Chloe's cousin. He knows if Chloe knew what was happening to her cousin, she would also ask him to help her.
"Okay. Wait for me. Don't open the door." he said then he cut the call.
Ryuchen looked at Chloe who was still asleep. He called his secretary to watch over her while he was away. He left as soon as his secretary arrived. He told him to call him immediately when Chloe woke up.
But Ryuchen doesn't know, Chloe has been awake for a while. She overheard their conversation and she almost wanted to cry, he still couldn't leave Lyka.
When Chloe heard the room door close, Chloe immediately got up and called Jason who answered immediately.
"Jason. I want to go out." she told him.
"No. You need to rest. You still need to be checked by the doctor tomorrow so we can make sure you are okay." said Jason.
"Jason, please!" she begged him.
"Okay. Wait for me. I'm coming"
She felt relieved when Jason didn't ask anything.
Chloe woke up earlier when she felt that someone was holding her hand. When she opened her eyes, she saw Ryuchen who was looking at his phone and thinking if he would pick up the call. Her happiness fades away when she sees that he answers the call. She knew who called Ryuchen, it is Lyka. She just closed her eyes again.

It was only an hour before Jason arrived at the hospital where Chloe was confined. He immediately arranged for Chloe's discharge paper.
"Let's go!" Jason said as he entered Chloe's room.
He saw Ryuchen's secretary there.
He frowned.
What is his secretary doing here? Where is Ryuchen?
"President Ajero will be angry when he finds out that you left the hospital." he heard him say.
"Don't worry, he won't get angry." Chloe replied.
"Is there a problem?" Jason asked . "Where is Ryuchen?"
"President Ajero has been handling some important things for a while." he explained. "He told me not to let Ms. Alcantara out because she needed rest." he turned to her. "Ms. Alcantara, why don't you wait for President Ajero before you leave?"
Chloe closed her eyes with a sigh.
'Ms. Alcantara'.
Even his secretary does not even consider her as Ryuchen's wife or Mrs. Ajero even though he knew that they are married. She felt pity for herself. She knows, in the eyes of those who know Ryuchen, only Lyka deserves to be called Mrs. Ajero.
"Come on, Jason." she said then walked closer to him. "I don't want to see him."
Jason did not speak or ask anything. He put his arm around her waist to help her walk. He no longer had to ask what had happened because he knew to himself that Chloe would also say what had happened while he was away.

Meanwhile, Ryuchen arrived at Lyka's apartment, he felt confused because he did not see anyone outside her apartment.
He knocked on Lyka's door.
"Ryu, here you are!" she said happily then hugged him after he entered her apartment. "I miss you!"
"What happened?" Ryuchen was irritated. He let go of her embrace. "I didn't see anyone outside your apartment."
"Ahhh.... I also don't know why they are no longer outside." she said then pulled him inside the dining area. "But since you're already here. Why don't you just join me for dinner? Did you eat? I cooked your favorite--"
"LYKA !!" Ryuchen said angrily.
'Did she just lie to me again?'
Is this a part of her scheme. Ryuchen has a feeling that she's lying for the first place, but because she's a woman and Chloe's cousin that's why he still came to her apartment to help her. He knows that Chloe will be worried if something will happen to her. Chloe is a soft hearted woman, even when they were still kids. She can easily forgive someone who did something wrong to her.
Lyka froze when she heard Ryuchen shout. But before he could speak again, Ryuchen felt a slight dizziness causing him to hold on her shoulder to support his balance.
"Ryu?" there was a trace of concern in her voice but he could see the smirk on her lips. "What's the matter?"
"Let go of me!" he shouted when he felt Lyka's embrace.
"RYU!!"
He doesn't know what happened next because he suddenly lost consciousness.

Ryuchen woke up when he felt something move next to him. He was surprised to see an arm hugging around his body. He immediately woke up from the bed. He saw Lyka next to him.
"What happened?" he asked angrily. "Why am I here?"
"Did you forget what happened again?"
He noticed that he was only wearing a boxer. His whole body stiffened. He turned to Lyka, she was wearing a nightgown.
'Did she drug me again? Shit! I'm doomed!'
Did something happen to them? But he did not feel anything strange to his body. Even though Lyka was his girlfriend, he never got a desire to touch her.
At that time, Lyka noticed the worried and confusion of Ryuchen's handsome face, so she decided to make up a story. She needs a reason for Ryuchen to not leave her. She kept her virginity until now but Ryuchen never touched her, not even once, they didn't even sleep together in one bed.
Ryuchen saw tears fall on Lyka's eyes. His chest throbbed, he wanted to punch himself for what he did. But, he really didn't mean it if he really did something to her.
"It was just an accident, Lyka. I'm sorry." Ryuchen said.
As he thought about what might have happened last night, he felt disgusted.
"Accident? After you..." Lyka bowed while crying. "Get out!" but Ryuchen did not leave, he wanted to talk to her about what happened to them last night. "I said get out, Ryuchen!" she shouted as she ran into the bathroom.
Ryuchen could do nothing but get up and start getting dressed. As he was getting dressed, he noticed that the bed they were lying on had no blood on it. There's a snap coming from Ryuchen's thought. It's either Lyka is not a virgin anymore or nothing has happened to them. But inside Ryuchen's heart, he knew nothing happened.
Meanwhile, Lyka is in the bathroom. She couldn't help but grin. Now Ryuchen will think something happened to them. But the truth is, nothing really happened. She just mixed a strong sleeping pill with the air freshener she used. Because she took anti-sleeping pills, it didn't affect her right away.
They both just slept together that night.
