Chapter 1: beginning of the end

'Jack where are we going?' asked Maysin, wondering why they're going down a dark alley off the main road. 'To my house to get some food.' replied Jack as he turned towards a door with a key he pulled out of his pocket. as jack unlocked the door they both received a message on their phones, 'what is this about ?' wondering Maysin why they both got the message. as Jack looked at his phone his face went grimm. they asked each other if the message was the same or if it was a joke, and they looked worried as they knew what it meant when they saw what was the same text. 'this is bad we need to get inside immediately if this is true.' cried maysin with a sour look on his face. Jake laughed and said 'I bet it's just Alan messing around with us.' as he pushed his door open. 'I don't think so I have Alan's number, and on top of that the last message I got from this number it was true.' cried Maysin, as he walked into the building. 'true but I still think it's weird that we both got the message I've never seen the number and I don't think it's truly possible that this would happen, I mean have you heard anything from the lab given you work with the disease control center?' asked Jake as he walked to the front of his fridge. 'that's what I mean it's there number that the message was sent from, I doubt that they would lie about something like this.' Maysin said even more worried than before. 'bang bang bang', ' what who's there?' jake yelled at the door wondering who was pounding on the door. as he went to check he smelled a strange odor coming from somewhere beyond the door. as he got closer the banging got louder, and suddenly a fist came through the wooden door. jake then yelled ' your going to pay for that you ahole.' as he pulled the door open he saw a bloodied woman missing half of her right arm with the left still through the door. maysin who was standing behind jake looked horrified and reached around to slam the door shut. jake turned to him and yelled 'what was that all about?, she's injured we have to help her.' maysin quickly became hysterical and said 'we've got to go now this is bad like really bad.' jake still confused asked 'what's bad explain to me now.' maysin who was wearing a rie smile said 'that's the body we was researching at my work.' what the h#ll do you mean I thought you said you where working on a cure for a new disease?' asked jake still half confused about his answer. 'I'll explain the rest later we have to go now.' yelled Maysin while he pulled jake away from the doorway. jake still fuming about his door being broken said ' I expect the full story.' before he could finish what he was saying three moor fists came through the door making a loud wood splitting crash. maysin still pulling on jake said 'where is the back door man.' in hysteria. jake still being dragged pointed towards the end of the hallway and said 'through that door and down the stairs itll let us out onto the main road.' As they ran jake heard the rest of his front door break open and slam on the ground.
