"He was like a sweet right that was bestowed upon me, a beautiful melody and oh how beautiful and then there was me who-I-I " her jaw tightened
"What were you, June ?"
"I was a disaster. An ugly and destructive one, that my demons promised not to sleep until he was in ruins...nothing but ruins " her gaze fell to the ground, " I told him! I swear I did but h-he wouldn't just listen "

She titled her head, "what makes you think I would bargain everything I have for a shit of land ?"
"The land is just a reward, you know, to motivate you but for every day that passes its you who loses something "
"Get your hands off me first please "
Sebastian didn't move a finger. "What if I don't ?"
She smiled with evil in her eyes, "I'm a lawyer, I mastered the art of lying and making people believe my lies and with that camera above us verbal threatening and use of force is very obvious " she paused for second to get his reaction better,"And believe me you don't want any problems with New York's best lawyer "
Sebastian didn't dare move . She was smart and sharp...something that really attracted him . He let go of her arms and spoke with a dead tone,"Are you boasting ?"
"And why not? Do only men get that right ?" She folded her arms," You know, you said a deal and a deal means that both the parties are agreeing with the terms present for mutual benefits and I, sir, do not agree with you so it's not a deal "
He picked his jacket,"Baby, you will come to me on your knees. You'll see "
She raised an eyebrow "You bet ?"
"I bet" He simply smirked before storming out of the grand room
The cool breeze played with June's light ebony hair. She tucked the stray strands behind her ear. She always wondered why the graveyards are always cold. Maybe it was the silent screams of the aching souls . The horizon was getting ready to sleep, painted with dark velvety colors .
Her hands tightened around the bouquet of white gardenias before placing them on the grave .
"709" she muttered under her breath . She lowered herself to the ground and looked coldly at the headstone.
"How do you feel today? When's the last time he visited ? " she sighed, "you're probably feeling lonely, don't you ?"
She ran her fingers along the cold stone . "Don't worry I am too " . She looked around and leaned closer towards the marble stone slowly whispering, "I saw someone today and he was so...disgusting " she giggled to herself and ran a finger along her jaw . "And ha-"
She was interrupted by someone calling her name . She looked around to find Sean running towards her .
"June, again ! For God's sake ! Everyone needs you in there and you're here every single day " . He kneeled beside her and sighed .
She turned to him and was faintly able to talk "Why can't you guys leave me alone ?!"
"Because you can't be trusted alone ! Now let's go ", he grabbed her arm and dragged her along.
She lowered her gaze and whispered, "my handbag " .
He turned and picked up her handbag ."Luther, he called and told me what happened "
"Nothing important and I prefer not to discuss it ...especially here " she hooked her arm in his .
Sean just nodded.
"Lydia, I think I am done having dinners with you "
Sebastian spoke through the phone while flipping through a bunch of papers .
"Why ?! did you find a new whore?" She spat bitterly .
He clenched his jaw in response before replying," Nothing compared to you "
She cursed before hanging up .
He smiled to himself as he imagined his encounter with June earlier . The way she talks, how her lips moved, delicately closing when she had no response. The breath of confidence she brought when she entered a room yet you knew very easily how she can melt if she was next to a loved one .
And those warm eyes, they looked right into him and yet she was so cold...dead cold.
How can a woman be this way ? He never met one for all he knew .
He wasn't able to get her out of his mind no matter what he tried. Burying himself into papers wasn't helping anyway so he closed the file and went to work on something way more important. Very important.
Sebastian rubbed his eyes lazily as he surfed through the papers he left yesterday .
All of sudden someone barged into the room and it was expected if he were to be honest . She placed her hands on both sides of the desk and leant towards him . Her eyes containing burning fire in them
"What did you just do !?"

Sorry for the late update but things happen and one thing for sure no matter how long I might be absent there will always be a chapter being written so don't crawl to the corner and cry that's not your job .
