Chapter 63: Rematch
The Treants landed on the water and walked on top of it, scattering all over the place like a proper army to hunt for an enemy.
Simultaneously, the sun finally came to view and shone, reflecting on Fang Shi's roads and alleys' deep rivers.
Liu Kai observed the battle from the top. He wondered where the dwarves' bullet was coming from and tried to check.

Liu Kai still has different Treants but decided to check it later as it is not important because they are E and D-Rated Monsters.
After a short while, dead larvae are already being thrown at the top of the cliff. They became a convenient target for his Treants since they are frail creatures. And since he deactivated his Treant skill, they won't automatically be turned into Treants like what happened before.
Liu Kai smirked as he continued to watch the battle unfold.
Thanks to the large leaves growing on the Treants' feet, they can evenly fight the giant water striders on top of the water. They can produce footings wherever they go, the perks of being a Treant.
The giant water striders are S-Rated Monsters and much stronger than his Treants since most of them are E-Rated or D-Rated only. But thanks to the Plant Armor, their durability is sub-par of those B and A-Rated, and they have unlimited stamina and can restore themselves every time they sustain critical damage.
The giant assassin bug that Liu Kai fought before is now his strongest Treant. It is an S-Rated but now stronger because of the skills it gained after becoming a Treant. It trampled on any giant bugs in the area and slaughtered them helplessly, not realizing what kind of bug attacked them.
Surely, some giant water striders did minimal damage to the giant assassin bug Treant, but it puzzled them because their poisons weren't working or... being negated by its healing ability.
While the battle looked like a battle of colossal's, Wang Xiu Ying and his co-martial artist looked like ants skating on top of the water, having surfboard-like leaves on their feet that are being retracted once they leap into the air to strike.

They encircled a single giant water strider and pounced at the same time.

They successfully executed the attack, but it is not enough to make the giant water strider into dust. Though it is enough to make its exoskeleton brittle and easier to penetrate using their ordinary blows.

Liu Kai glanced at his back to check the dead giant bugs on top of the cliff. On his second thought, he wanted to make some of them as his Treants.
Giant water striders can only fight on the water surface. But after seeing his Treants on top of the water, he's convinced that the striders would adjust with their Treant abilities too. He seriously thought about the idea and decided to use some carcasses for making Treants.
He walked closer to Khunder and Krugarl, firing at the larvae and giant water striders below.
"Hey, do you remember your previous life?" Liu Kai asked the dwarves.
The dwarves just nodded after they stopped firing.
"Can you speak?" asked Liu Kai, but the dwarves just remained silent.
'It looks like they can't talk at all, just their growls while fighting.'
'That means Wang Xiu Ying and the others can't speak as well,' Liu Kai thought to himself.
Suddenly, he sensed a familiar aura under the cliff.
'This...'
He looked down and checked to confirm his assumption.
'I'm damn right.'
A giant fishing spider is defending itself on a building from the attacks of his Treants. Despite his Treants' numbers, the dolomedes was holding its own against all of them. They are easily getting swept away aside from the assassin bug Treant.
'Talk about luck.'
Liu Kai smirked, seeing another dolomedes on his lifetime. Things have really changed quickly. The fear that he felt when he first met a giant spider was long gone. Instead, joy replaced it.
'That's mine.' Liu Kai thought to himself, but it seems like the Treants heard him and backed away.
Liu Kai jumped from the cliff and landed on top of the building in front of the spider.
"Let's settle our score today, shall we?" Liu Kai stated, glaring at the giant arachnid in front of him.
'I'm supposed to try using my 100% focus on the raid, but something else happened. Now let's see.'
