The dinosaurs have yet to notice their coming extinction. As she raises the battle-axe one of them noticed her figure but it was too late as he was cut in half before he could even let out a voice.
Death Lord- " How scary."
Melena - "What?"
Death Lord-" Oh nothing I just didn't know your mother was this strong."
Melena -" People used to say that my mother was an adventurer before she gave birth to me and they said she was very strong."
Death Lord-"Very strong?"
Melena - "They said she was the strongest in the whole village."
Death lord-" Strongest in the village huh, maybe silver rank or perhaps gold rank."
Melena-" I don't know much about the ranking of the adventurers but she once mentioned she was
diamond rank."
Death Lord-"..."
Melena -" Lord?"
If I remember correctly gold rank adventurers were considered elite forces which handled most of the tasks and if what Sam told me was right after gold rank came the platinum rank and after the platinum rank comes the diamond rank which is the third-highest rank for an adventurer who is capable of soloing Grade (B) monster.
And if you think Grade (B) monsters are small fires let me remind you they are capable of destroying entire countries and Elene the holy saint which lead the holy army of the church is also diamond rank.
Death Lord- "Diamond Rank and War Maiden."
Melena-" Yes?"
Death Lord-" Grade B"
Melena-" huh?"
Death Lord-" Destroy a country."
Cecil-" Master!"
What I can't feel my body and why are my eyes clos-

After fighting the wyvern mana is pretty exhausted and I can't use my skill [ Blessing of the Forest God] to increase my speed but on approaching the fields I could hear the sound of battle.
Was it Lord who was fighting or perhaps Melena, either way, I have to hurry I can still assist them.

On reaching the fields a different scene appeared in front of me. a lady wearing a skirt was cleaving monster with high defence Armada into halves and it looked like she wasn't even having any effort in doing that she was simply swinging her axe ignoring all defence of the monster known for their defence and cleaving them.
And I could then see Melena and Cecil standing nearby but Death Lord was nowhere to be seen but a human was lying on Melena's lap and Cecil was crying hugging that human man.
I was glad they were safe but where was death lord? And who was that human man and why was he lying on Mel's lap was he a friend of Mel but then why would Cecil who only loved her master Lord would hug a friend of Mel. There were too many questions but only one way to find the answers.
I approached the group and asked
Kreshelia-" Where is Lord."
The crying Cecil looked towards me and then started crying again, ignoring her I looked towards Melena who was making a relived face on seeing me."
Melena-" I am glad you were safe."
After saying that tears started to dwell in her eyes.
I wiped those tears with my hands
Kreshelia-"I am back but where is Lord."
Melena-" The thing is-
Kreshelia-" Or first tell me who is this human man?"
Melena-" He is Death Lord."
Kreshelia-" Huh?"
This human man was Death Lord. but was not Death Lord an undead and the person before my eyes was clearly a human.....no he has two small horns so he was definitely a monster but now he had black hair, beautiful fair skin and a pretty good built body but one can't distinguish him from a human if they don't see the two horns on his head which were hidden by his hairs until Cecil moved her hands on his hair revealing them. but why is he unconscious and where is Mel's mother lord was carrying and I know it is pretty late after saying all that who was the women who were killing those armadas like toys.
I should maintain my cool and see that Melena don't get overwhelmed by my question
Kreshelia- " Why is someone strong like Lord collapsed on the ground and how did his appearance change and what happened to your mother wasn't lord carrying her and who is the lady fighting over there. Was she the one who is responsible for Lord's this state and what happened to the original plan of finding a carriage."
Oh crap... I asked too many questions. Melena and Cecil were now looking at me with absent faces.
???- "Let me answer them for you."
Kreshelia-" Who?"
I heard a new voice behind me am the only one behind me was that strong woman. I immediately created an ice sword to confront the woman.
Kresheila-" Mel and Cecil take Lord and run I will stop her."
They didn't even flinch and were starting me with eyes which were asking what are you saying.
I turned to stop that woman but found she was none other than Mel's sick Mother.
Kreshelia-" you are Mel's mother right?"
Gloria-" That's right, I am Gloria Mel's mother. I heard you took great care of her in the forest."
Kreshelia- " No, in the end, Melena was the one to save my life and I am indebted to her for that."
Gloria-" Well sure you are a good girl."
Kreshelia-" But how can you fight so well?"
Gloria-" I may not look like it but I was called War Maiden."
Keeshelia-" The demon of the west."
Gloria-" Muuuu I don't like that name."
What is the demon of the west doing in such a place and someone of her calibre was living like a villager.
I thought after so many surprises nothing more can surprise me anymore but looks like I was wrong.
But I wonder why did Death Lord collapse

I can't feel my body. did I lose my consciousness? I can see but there is only darkness here and it feels like I am burning but the feeling is familiar the place too
???" Valor, We meet again."
Valor but wasn't I Death Lord now who could know my identity but the voice is pretty familiar and we meet again something similar did happen
??? -" Oh did you forget me already, I am sad."
Wait that way of talking. I only know one person.
Goddess-" You got the right answer it's your adorable goddess."
