Chapter 32: CHAPTER 32
I kept running around in the forest, after a half an hour of running around I was finally able to calm down and come to peace with the fact that I slept like a log through most of history, what I was really worried about was if I had skipped a mission but that was not the case.
I had to say it it seems my wolf side has somewhat become stronger, I don't know if that's a good thing considering that I sometimes go into extra-long years of sleep because of it. It had grown twice the size of a four-story building and I could also feel that I had access to mana in this form as well, but this one was a little different from the mana of my vampire self, it's a little more chaotic it seems. I tried summoning the mana but it just sent me tumbling back a few meters instead so yeah.
I turned back into my Vampire form and started checking if the vampire form underwent any change and the only thing I found out was that someone had killed one of my familiars and I was not happy about it.
I called upon all th familiars I had placed as well as those that were on my body, soon enough the familiar closest to me came running or more like slithering towards me, it was like who was the first of my creations.
it came forward and curled up on my gloved hands, these gloves can discharge electricity, its also a familiar, a small headset also materialized, this was my projectile mind reader I got after using the leftover Aro as a source haha. I will try to combine some later.
It seems like I will have to investigate. I went back to the Nameton and pulled out a chair from my storage magic. This was able to surprise nearly all the druids, Ah cure little druids.
I guess they already knew it was me in human form
"Which one of you is the oldest here..or the most superior among you?" I asked
"We are all equal and follow equal laws to maintain balance, only Allfather can offset the balance if he so wishes," An Asian-looking dude said.
"That's ok as well. Now who is gonna tell me about how one of the Nametons fell, my familiar and ten druids are dead" I just touched one of them on the way to the Nameton and got the memories but just wanted to see how faithful they are to me"
The druids talked among themselves in hushed voices but it was all too clear to me what they were saying....after a bit of talk, a baldy came up to me with a bit of sadness in his eyes
Yup I could sense his emotions and they were only the emotions of grief, pain, sadness, and regret as well.
"None of us know what happened, ever since you went to sleep the rules changed, now the druids mainly focus on being the advisors of the packs or any other supernatural to directly maintain the balance. We dont even know why there were ten Druids near the Nameton, to begin with, the duty to guard the Nameton is usually left with your minions" He said with regret.
I decided to hear everyone's answer and came to a conclusion from their words and decided I will have to go and see for myself and find out. Cutting down a Nameton is no joke, this might look like just a simple tree but it's more of a monster of nature or a freak of nature.
This also reminded me about how I still have not found three Nametons yet or is it two??
"Have you found the location of the other Nametons yet?" I asked them hoping they knew
"Yes, we have, " A druid said, I called him forward and touched him to read his mind using my familiar, takes a lot of focus since I am looking for a specific memory and not just random thoughts
This also gave me some more disturbing news
it seems World war is happening right now, The reason I am awake is that the Balance has shifted beyond recognition.
I let the druids hang around, they kept asking a question for some time and ut seems more then half the druids were from the old lineage so I showed them some projections of their ancestors using a memory projector, It seems I was right to bring stuff with me from the old world.
After night fell, The druids decided it was time to go back to their work so they left. these new Druids had less respect for me than the ones before them but that was alright. As long as they dont go against me that is.
I went into my subconsciousness to check up on the main missions

I decided to see my character screen and it was the same as before I went to sleep. The only difference being the Wolf status screen

Well, that's a nice upgrade. I did become a world-eating wolf or whatever it is called though I need some grip on this and the only solution I can come up with within all this is that I should do some old-style meditation to calm myself. I summoned one of my familiars who I named Ditto, he can mimic someone so I will be using him.
I left Ditto to guard the Nameton, it will take some time for the other Familiars to get here, I can summon them directly but I am not in a hurry.
I decided it was once again time to explore the somewhat modernized world so I went out of the forest forgetting that it was the times of war and I was flying high up in the air.
I was not much of a history guy so the most I know is that Hitler was the cause of the second world war but I don't know if it's the same in this current world.
I descend into what looks like a military camp and was obviously not just flying in but descended a few meters back. soon enough I was asked to identify myself if I was friendly or not, Thankfully I looked like a native American and was not being forced to stay like a prisoner, I had some talks with the soldiers that were present it seems that after the attack at pearl harbor, the Japanese immigrants and even the natives were being forced to stay here.
They were being irritable about where I am from and what else so I used mind suggestion to have them be friendly with me,i know its bad but i was tired with the constant questioning.I could have walked the other way but i sensed some supernaturals in the area so i agd to check up on it
