Chapter 18: Chapter 17
Elden quickly grabbed Fana and Mars as he teleported to the hospital in the building for his squad.
" How long will it take for them to recover fully? " Elden asked the head doctor Olivia.
Olivia has a light skin tone with long light brown hair down to her waist and has soft brown eyes. She wears a white doctors coat with black shirt and some comfortable pants.
Elden saw potential in her when he saw her in the military squad as a healer. She uses poison magic to create drugs that can heal people.
" They will be fine in about an hour. You can come train them then. "
" Okay. "
Elden then left as he teleported.
Olivia then looked at Mars.
" His bones are healed somewhat. Did you heal him? " She asked Fana.
" Yes. I have a fire healing spell. "
" I see. Okay come here after your training with him. I'll help with your healing magic. "
" Really? " Fana asked.
" Yes. Now.. " She then looked at Mars.
" Clench your teeth. " She said.
" Why? " Mars asked.
" Simple. This will hurt. "
She then injects him with a syringe. Mars feels the drug enter his body as he clenches his teeth and bares the pain as his bones are repaired.
" I said this would hurt didn't I? " Olivia says as she looks at Mars.

While the trio are resting Elden teleported directly in front of a person with a fox mask on.
" Yo long time no see Fox. " Elden says as he waves.
Fox just stares at him.
" So were you ordered to come here or is this of your own choosing? " Elden asks.
" I came here of my own choosing. " Fox said as she removed her mask.
" I see. What was it that you wished to find to satisfy your curiosity? " Elden asks.
Fox looks at him with her black eyes and emotionless face.
" Why did you save that girl and bring her into your squad? " She asked.
Elden looked at her.
' Hmm she's curious about that. Could this be because of the fact she has been in the proximity of the king for so long that her mindset is similar to his or is it for something else.'
" Why would be curious about that? "
" You brought her into your group because she had a healing fire spell but other than that she doesn't have anything that differentiates her from others. " Fox says.
Elden let's her complete her monologue before speaking.
" Well your right about that. Fire magic is common however unlike the others i choose her because she has more talent than others.At the age of 12 her magic control is better than other mages and she has more magic.
Giving her the right training will make her an excellent mage. "
" I see. But how did you notice? " She asked.
" When she faught in the exam. I analysed her there. Plus it was also because of a gut feeling you can say. "
' Nope it's because I watched the show and know she will get a salamander spirt and will be OP. Besides why show interest? '
Fox stayed silent as Elden looked at her.
" Though what's surprising is that you asked that question and came here without being ordered. Is this the only reason why you showed up? "
" No it was also to watch you in action. " Fox said.
" I see. Why? "
" I was curious. There arnt many space magic users in the world so I wanted to see what you could do. I still don't understand some of the things that you did but it was a good past time. "
" I see. But why have this hobby? "
" I'm bored. All I do is fight so I need to get rid of it somehow. I only do missions everyday, mostly spying so I get bored. "
' Her magic didn't fluctuate so she didn't lie. Maybe a half truth or she has perfect control over her emotions. Sigh this meeting is just to weird. Well whatever I'll see what she's up to later. I'll have to keep an eye on her.Also I need to learn Ki at some point. '
" I see. Well I admit this was surprise.Anyway I'll be leaving. "
Fox nodded before leaving as well.

" How the fuck did he beat us so easily???!!!! " Ladros yelled.
" Simple by using his magic and experience. Now shut the fuck up!! I'm trying to read! " Fana yelled with tick marks forming on her head.
" Oh don't get me started bitch!! Also why the fuck are you cursing!! You're supposed to be the shy little girl!! You wernt supposed to change to this!" Ladros says as does a jester at Fana.
" That's just rascist! You pointed at all of me!! "
" Exactly!! "
'Somebody please kill me. ' Mars thought as he listened to the argument.
Suddenly Elden arrived in the room. He watched as Fana and Ladros argued.
'Hmm it seems Fana actually grew a pair. She's actually talking back to Ladros. Baby steps completed. '
" Okay that's enough. " Elden said but the 2 ignored him. Elden listened as they ignored him.
He then had enough.
" If you don't shut up right now, no dinner. " He said. His voice was barely above a whisper but it stopped Fana and Ladros as they quickly got out the beds and stood in front of Elden.
" Hello sir. " The both said as they stood attentively.
Mars stood dumbfounded before placing his hands to together while having a Buddha face.
' Thank you god for this wonderful gift. '
Elden looked at the three laughing internally as he picked them up and teleported back to the field where Elden faught.
" Okay. What do you think that fight was for? "
" For you to release stress. " Ladros said as he pointed at Elden.
" Correct. " Elden said with a thumbs up.
" I fucking hate you. " Ladros said with a smile.Elden and him then started laughing. Fana and Mars look at them ' Wtf ' faces.
" But in all honesty it was to test your skills. I'm going to train you in magic and in hand to hand combat. It will come in handy.
Ladros. For you, hand to hand combat is a must. While people are dependant on magic, when they realise that you can absorb magic they will stop using it as they are afraid. This will allow you to one shot them as most mages are fucking weak when it comes to having the strength of lifting well anything.
That and I'm going to train to absorb mana from the surroundings. "
" Oh okay but is that possible? "
" Yes it is. Mana is literally everywhere. So you can absorb the mana in the air and project that outward at enemies. "
" Fana. You need to work on mana control and increase your mana pool. You'll also learn hand to hand combat. "
" Mars your training well be similar to Fana but I'll also teach you how to use different weapons since you can make them using your magic. "
Fana and Mars nodded. Elden looked at them.
" Well then let the torture begin. " Elden said with a smile.
" Hell yeah... Wait what?!! "
