Chapter 39: Chapter 38
A week passed since Elden became king. Elden wasted no time as right after the anticlimatic revolution he immediately had people start working on making improvements. The first focus was on food. He decided to use earth mages in order to make the soil as fertile as possible for food to grow.
Elden already made many plans and gave explicit instructions as the Diamond kingdom slowly started to become whole. The entire kingdom started helping out.
The news of the revolution however was not a secret as the other nations quickly found out. Elden however knew this but at the moment gave zero fucks about them.

Spade kingdom
" Seems we must change our plans. "
" Indeed. The Diamond kingdom's new leadership causes problems with our plans at the moment. Speaking of which, did our spy say anything about the new king. "
" Yes. The new king is Elden. He has no last name as he is an orphan but he managed to get this far. When he was 15 years old, he was promoted directly to the position of the 3rd rank captain. In just 3 years he led a revolution and became king. We have no info on his current skill level. "
" What about the other captains? Are there any other threats from the diamond kingdom? "
" Yes. The other captains are just as much of a threat as Elden. Along with them are Elden's squadmates Ladros, Mars, and Fana, who Elden trained and can hold their own against captain-level opponents. Another is an infamous assassin who worked for the king but joined the revolution. She is a mystery. This also applies to another group of kids who are of similar age to Mars. We don't have much info on them. "
" Interesting. However, this won't really interfere much with our plans. We have no bad blood with the diamond kingdom so they will stay away from us. It's the same with the heart kingdom as well. As for the clover kingdom, they did have a few skirmishes here and there but Elden seems to have gotten tired and won't attack them either. We will be able to follow the plan as scheduled but make sure to tell our spies to stay alert and tell us of anything that is note-worthy. "
" Alright then. I believe this concludes the discussion. Everyone, get back to work. "

Heart Kingdom
" My queen. What should we do about this new turn of events? " Gadjah asked. He is a tall muscular man with spiky black hair and has a scar running down his face.
" Nothing, at the moment," said Lolopechka as she looked at Gadjah.
" For now, we will watch the diamond kingdom and plan on a course of action if they try to attack our kingdom. They tried with the clover kingdom but were unsuccessful. As for the new king, the info from our spies indicates that he isn't interested in the other kingdoms as he's mainly focusing on making his new kingdom better.
However, the problem is the fact that they basically took over the kingdom in a matter of hours. They captured the royals who were the cause and then got rid of them. Furthermore, all the captains got involved. They all agreed in the revolution. "
" I see. What should we do my lady?" Gadjah asks.
" Just keep going with life until he makes a move that could harm us. Then we will take action."

Clover kingdom
Sitting around a table were the magic knight captains of the clover kingdom. Julius Novachrono, the wizard king, sat in front of them.
" Well, it's nice to see everyone here. The topic for today is the fact that the diamond kingdom king is dead. " Julius says. The other captains are shocked at the news since the diamond kingdom was trying to take over the clover kingdom for a long time with the king at the forefront.
" I see. So what has happened to the Diamond kingdom now? " Captain Vangence asked as he looked at Julius.
" The diamond kingdom has a new king. His name is Elden. " Julius says. Yami who was borderline about to sleep immediatly woke up and sat up straight which mad ethe other captaisn tense up.
" Aahhaahaha... " Yami started laughing as he grinned madely. " That brat became king. Damn how much stronger has he gotten in 3 fucking years!" Yami said as he remembered his fight with Elden.
" You know that man Yami? " Fugoleon asked with his eyebrow raised.
" Hell yeah. Thats the brat who challenged me to a swordfight over that village 3 years back. " Yami said grinning.
" I see. How powerful is he? " Silva asked.
" In pure sword skills, he should on par with me, though its been 3 years. As for magic, i have no fuckin idea. " Yami said casually.
" Kukuku. Yami how the fuck dont you know how good he his at magic? " Jack asked.
" The sword fight we had back then had a rule called ' if you use magic, you lose bitch '. So we didnt use magic. Also all i know is that he has space magic. " Yami said.
' Could these 2 idots just stop swearing. ' Charlotte thought.
" Interesting. Yami whats Elden like? " Julius asked.
" Honestly he is a fun kid but like evevryone else here he is a cold blooded murderur when he needs to be. Plus he is extremely smart. " Yami said.
" Makes sense. When he took over the diamond kingdom, he revealed that the royals had manipulated the king and caused the poverty in the kingdom and had misused their authority. So he got rid of them. He tied them to wooden poles and let the cititzens murder them. " Julius said. The captains were shocked. They wernt surprised that the royals were dead since its a revolutio however hearing that it was the public that killed them was a differnet story.
" Considering this however I can tell that Elden has no ill will towars the clover kingdom. So i think itll be possible to try something in the future with them. " Julius said as he got up.
" Oi Julius. What are you planning to do? " Yami asked.
" Depending on the state of the diamond kingdom, ill have a better understanding of Elden. Based on that i think it will be possible to.. " Julius then turned aorund to face the captains.
" Form an alliance with the diamond kingdom. "

So this chapter was mainly for the other kingdoms reactions. A time skip will happen as we get into the plot of the story. Also in the last chapter someone commented on the timeline so here it is.
When Asta faces Mars for the first time Mars is 19. Fana is the same age as Mars. Ladros is 20. Elden will be 22 when cannon starts.
