Chapter 67: Chapter 66
" Oi Asta come over here for a sec. " Elden called out.
" Okay. " Asta said as he walked over to him.
" Remember how gave you that info that the witch queen can heal your arms in exchange for you guys taking care of the 2 idiots I left with you? " Elden asked.
" Yes. But with us this important? " Asta asked in confusion.
" Because I'm going to do the same with you. Basically, when the witch queen has healed your arms I want you to try something for me."
" Okay, but what is it? " Asta asked.
" Remember when Yami used his dark magic to make an armour around himself to increase his physical stats, I want you to do the same.
When your arms are healed, take out your anti-magic swords and absorb the anti-magic into your body. " Elden said.
" Okay but would that even work? There won't be any side effects right?! " Asta asked.
" Don't know. "
" Then why do it?! "
" Simple. It's just a theory that I want to see if it's true or not. Because you have no mana in your body, by no mana, literally zero, your body can absorb the anti-magic and use it.
Adding anti-magic to your body, you can significantly increase your abilities. But I don't of it's possible so I want you to try. " Elden said.
" Well okay. I haven't thought about it is possible but I'll give it a shot. " Asta said.
" Great. "
...
' Well, I have nothing to lose. Let's try this out. ' Asta thought.
Taking his anti-magic sword, he gripped the handle with his right hand and the blade with his left.
' He said I need to absorb the anti-magic from the sword into my body. ' Asta thought.
'It isn't working. 'Asta thought while clenching his teeth.
' Yami had used his dark magic to make an armour around himself which increased his physical stats.
I can't sense mana but I can use ki...
That's it!! '
Concentrating once again Asta, used Ki to see the anti-magic going into his body.
' Found it. Okay, the anti-magic should flow through my arms and to the rest of my body.
It's working, almost there... '
Suddenly Asta was in a lake as he was falling deeper and deeper into it.
' What is this? ' Asta thought.
" Welcome. "
Asta looked behind him to see a person who was completely black and had horns on his body.
" Who the hell are you? " Asta asked.
" Doesn't matter. Either way, this is good for me as I can get a physical body. So just lay back and relax as I take over your body. " He said as he grabbed Asta in his fist trying to crush him.
" I don't know if Elden knew about this, but I think I already know what to do now. " Asta muttered as he grabbed the guy's fingers.
Asta soon absorbed the guy and entered his devil transformation.

Asta stared at Jaden who had an angry look on his face with his third eye out.
" Come out bitch!! I'll show you what happens when you mess with me! " Jaden yelled.
" I said get out here! "
Jaden created a sandstorm in his hands and relaxed in the same way as a wind blast. It cut through the trees, flattening the ground.
Jaden was laughing at his spell before he saw it.
A black streak cut through his attack. Out of instinct, he flies back as the black streak went past him.
He looked at the black streak and saw Asta flying above him in his devil form looking at him from above.
Looking at Asta, Jaden screamed as he used his magic, launching stones straight at Asta. The stones were large yet traveled like a bullet.
Asta looked at the attack and dodged each stone easily as he flew around each of them.
' I feel great. All my abilities were enhanced. ' Asta thought as he dodged another stone and slammed his sword into another that came. He sent it right back at Jaden who dodged it.
Asta then flew straight towards Jaden at an incredible pace.
' I don't know how long I can keep this up, so for now, let's end this as soon as possible. ' Asta thought.
" Die!! " Jaden yelled as he created multiple mud dragons that attacked Asta. Asta cut through them and just kept going forward.
Jaden rushed at Asta, with his first covered in stone, to make a giant rock fist. Throwing his punch at Asta, Asta dodged it by spinning over it.
Jaden tried again and again as Asta dodged or blocked with his sword. He then slammed his sword into Jaden and knocked him back to the ground.
" Why you little shit!!! " Jaden yelled.
He transformed the ground to attack Asta. Asta dodged each one and flew straight down into one of the attacks.
Cutting straight through it, Asta then went towards Jaden that way. He cut through all the attacks as Jaden stood there.
He couldn't dodge in time as Asta appeared before him. His eyes widened as he looked at Asta.
' Black meteorite. '
Asta went past him and skidded to a halt. He breathed out a sigh of relief as Jaden fell to the floor unconscience behind him.
