Chapter 3: Join?
"Look, I think you were a part of an experiment y/n. They implanted quirks into your body, to make you an unstoppable machine for killing or defending people. Normal people would die or lose their sanity, but as I see, you're surprisingly aware of your surroundings. Maybe they played around with your head or something.." I look at him, not knowing what emotion to feel.
"Hey y/n, wanna eat something?" I'm caught off guard by his question, I guess I'm a bit hungry. "Yes please!" Mr. Compress smiles at my response and goes to his refrigerator. He takes out some... pancakes! My favorite dish! "Here you go, eat as much as you want." He smiles and gives me all the pancakes!!
He turns on the TV and says "I need to go to work now, can I leave you alone?" I nod in response " Oh and please don't choke on them," he points at my pancakes "it'll be a disaster." "I'm not a little child! I wouldn't eve- *cough cough*".
Mr. Compress waited till I've finished mah pancakes and then left for 'work'.
I know you people don't like long storys, so here's a timeskip of 3 days.
"Hey y/n, how have you been doing?" is the first thing Mr. Compress says, as he comes back home. "Oh, happier than ever! It's sooo interesting to watch other people!" I say and point to the window, "I see you weren't bored huh." He puts two bags on the table, in the middle of the room, and asks "I hope you like Gyozas."
I nod in excitement, I mean, I haven't eaten anything salty in an eternity! and run to him. He gives me a whole bunch of them and starts talking, "So, I haven't told you anything about my job, haven't I?" "Nope." He takes a bite before continuing, "It's basically me and some other people planing plans on how to k- I mean illuminate the so called heros, the ones who've used you. I needed to tell them the reason for why I was late, so I told them about you and your quirks and..." he thinks for a while, "And?" "And boss wanted me to bring you there and even to make you join us."
Make me join them? Hmm I guess I'll be able to make new friends and take revenge on Doctor for hurting my old ones! "You don't need to make me join you, I'd love to meet new people and if it means that I'll be able to take revenge on Doctor, then I'll gladly join you and I'll work hard to reach your and Bosses expectations!" Mr. Compress looks at me, surprised at my instant response, but says nothing. Oh god this silence is too uncomfortable!! "Soo when will I go to your work place?" He swallows the last Gyoza before telling me "In one hour."
I didn't have any normal clothes, so we needed to head out in the night, so people won't see nor suspect anything. "Mr. Compress, how is Boss like? Is he kind?" "Welp he looks very creepy and has a character of a psycho, but we've got worse people in our group, so don't be afraid! And, to be fair, I'm almost 100% sure, he'll be the kindest to you."
A kind psycho... Welp I've seen worse so I guess it's not a problem... Or?
"You said, he'll be the kindest to me, but why? I'm new and I have never been on an actual mission..."
"I can't really explain why, I just get a feeling, that you'll get along very well." He removes his mask and looks at me with a confident smile. It's a very cute smile and it made me feel at ease.
As we enter an old looking building, Mr. Compress takes my hand and guides me to a room. To be specific, an old classroom. There were five people, a man with a big violet scar on his face and both arms, a anime-like girl, a human lizard, a man in a half-black-half-white costume and a man with pale blue, fluffy hair beautiful red eyes, but the other parts of his face were covered with a hand. "Boss, I brought y/n." Boss...? Oh, that must be the blue haired person! "...Is that really...?" "I didn't expect a killer machine to be this cute tho." Says the scard(?) man. K-killer machine?? "Hey don't call them in such a scary way Dabi~" The girl replies. As Mr. Compress notices my confusion he starts talking, "Please don't mention anything that has to do with dea- *cough* -th. At least for a while and they told me, that they would love to be able to join us boss." Boss walks over to me and looks me in the eyes for a while, "You told me, they have stayed at your place for a while, right?" Mr. Compress nods, "Then what about you..." he looks at me, "staying here? It's safer!" Not only me, but pretty much everyone was confused, "Ehm, I-I'll be happy to!" "Was my apartment that bad?" "Oh no no, I don't want to be a burden to you, so if I have the possibility of giving you your privacy, I'll use it."
~silence~
"Ehm but if I'm allowed to ask, what are your names?" The blond girl stands up "Call me Toga, that burnt chicken nugget's Dabi, that salamander's Spiner, that weird guy in black & white is Twice and he's, Shigaraki, but better call him boss."
Such cute names..!
"I'm very pleased to meet you guys! Please bare with me for while I'm here!"
Shigaraki walks to the exit of the room and asks, "Don't you want to see the room you'll be staying at?" A room?! "I-I do."
"Then come, I'll show you." While havind a slight grin on his face, he walks out of the classroom and Mr. Compress gestures me to go after him. So I too, leave the room after saying goodbye to my new Friends and run after Boss.
