"Frenzy! Been a while," said Qing Tian as he casually greeted Zhang Danfeng, Han Sen's childhood friend and true friend.
Despite Han Sen's family going broke and them no longer meeting, Zhang Danfeng still viewed Han Sen as a friend and would help Han Sen whenever he would need it.
'Makes me wonder what happened to him. They only mentioned him like 2-3 times and then he just disappeared. Did Han Sen leave him behind when he got stronger and became an Evolver?' Qing Tian looked at Han Sen and Zhang Danfeng laughing and talking together. 'What a shame that their friendship ends in the future…'
Looking for a seat, Qing Tian found an empty seat in the back next to Xue Xi who was talking with Han Hao, Han Sen's two faced cousin who only cares about status and money.
'Wow, Xue Xi is a beauty,' thought Qing Tian as he noticed Xue Xi's amazing looks. She was just about 170 cm (5'7") tall, looking rather cute with that short height compared to Qing Tian who was just about to be 183 cm (~6') tall.
She had a beauty mark at the bottom right of her right eye, making her look rather beautiful. She had red and full lips that can make one wish to kiss those lips forever. She also had moderate sized breasts that complemented her well with her height and beauty.
Upon looking closer at her, Xue Xi looked uncomfortable talking with Han Hao who tried to keep her attention on himself and keep her to himself.
Walking over to them, Qing Tian said, "Hao, who's this cute girl you're talking with."
Hearing Qing Tian's voice, Han Hao turned to look at Qing Tian with a wry smile and with hate in his eyes. Putting on a fake face, Han Hao smiled and said, "This is Xue Xi. It's not a surprise that you haven't met her, she goes to a private school and is part of a rather well off family."
Qing Tian remembers a bit about this. Rather than well off, they're most likely rich and influential, seeing as how her step-brother, Fang Jingqi, is friends with the strongest two of the generation, Tang Zhenliu and Lin Feng.
Turning to look at Xue Xi, Qing Tian smiled and offered a handshake, "Nice to meet you Xue Xi, my name is Qing Tian. I've heard so much about you from Frenzy and Sen."
Xue Xi blushed out of nervousness and said, "N-nice to meet you too. I've heard about you from Sen and Danfeng as well. We finally met after we have heard about each other for so long."
Chuckling, Qing Tian shook hands with Xue Xi before asking, "Is this seat taken?"
Xue Xi shook her head before moving slightly to the side, "The seat is free, go ahead and sit down."
Gladly taking the seat, Qing Tian and Xue Xi began talking. She slowly began to calm down as they talked, no longer feeling nervous.
'What the hell!'
Han Hao looked at Qing Tian with anger. Angry at the fact that Qing Tian took Xue Xi from him so easily.
"Hey… Xi? Do you still want to hear my story about Dolla-"
"Not now Hao… I'm talking with Tian here," said Xue Xi, trying to quietly push away Han Hao.
She was kind of sensitive towards the personalities of people around her, so she knew what type of person Han Hao was. It's just that she couldn't do anything about the fact of her and him talking together.
Han Sen had been quietly ignoring her ever since he lost his father and she had found hers. Then there was Zhang Danfeng who keeps her close as a friend but they hardly talk with each other.
Leaving her with Han Hao who is basically free all the time.
So when Qing Tian appeared and Xue Xi began having a good feeling about him. She began talking with him instead to feel more relaxed and enjoy the time more.
'A gentle girl indeed,' thought Qing Tian as he remembered the way Han Sen described her. 'Pretty and gentle…'

Arriving at Starlight Martial Hall, where Zhang Danfeng wanted to see Tang Zhenliu fight, Qing Tian noticed that the building was a bit smaller compared to the Ares Martial Hall.
'I guess Ares Martial Hall is better off financially,' thought Qing Tian as he followed Zhang Danfeng and Han Sen over to a table where they sat down and ordered some food.
The martial halls are places where you go to train and see exhibition matches or sparrings. However, they also serve as an entertainment place as they set up exhibition matches and sparring matches for the public to generate some money and recruit more people.
So to earn more money, they even set up a restaurant around the ring where the fighters will have an exhibition or sparring match.
When they sat down, Xue Xi brought her chair over next to Qing Tian where they continued talking with each other, leaving Han Hao out of the conversation as they laughed and told jokes.
After eating and waiting a bit, Tang Zhenliu's exhibition match finally came up, making Zhang Danfeng jump with joy.
"If I could have my name on the Sacred Stele like Tang Zhenliu once in my life, then I'd know I've lived," said Zhang Danfeng with a smile as he hoped for something like that to happen one day.
Han Sen smiled and said, "You will Frenzy."
Qing Tian glanced at Zhang Danfeng and furrowed his eyebrows, 'You want to have you name etched on there when you don't even bother training and instead use money to buy the meat and beast souls? You'll never grow or have your name etched on that Sacred Stele.'
The Sacred Stele was where the name of every fighter who is a 'Chosen' has their name written down.
The only way to become a 'Chosen' is that when the Martial Hall of a shelter opens, which happens once every year, everyone in the shelter can compete against each other.
The top one hundred in the end have their name etched onto the Sacred Stele, and if they fight against others of another shelter and come out in the top ten, that's when you've become a 'Chosen'.
To be in the top 10 in a fight against everyone in the sanctuary is to be a 'Chosen'.
It's nothing but a dream for Zhang Danfeng if he doesn't train seriously.
After saying that, Zhang Danfeng began complaining about not being able to kill a mutant creature even after buying ordinary and primitive meat to max out those points and buying some primitive beast souls.
Qing Tian just kept quiet and listened.
Han Hao who was off to the side finally felt like he had a chance to speak. He was already feeling irritated after Xue Xi was taken from him and she was laughing with another man.
So when he began talking to Zhang Danfeng, he used some harsh words.
"Haha. You must be terrible then. I have a mutant beast soul already," said Han Hao with a smirk on his face. "If you were at Steel Armor Shelter, I would've considered helping you out."
Zhang Danfeng felt a bit hurt by what Han Hao said, so he just looked at him silently for a bit before turning to Han Sen.
"How about you Han Sen, how's it going for you?"
Han Hao felt even more irritated at the fact that he just got ignored. Standing up, Han Hao left and even walked a bit slowly, hoping someone would call out to him to stop. However not a single voice reached out to him.
So, more angry than before, Han Hao walked away and went somewhere else.
Han Sen was enjoying himself too much to notice Han Hao leaving, and Zhang Danfeng was the same as Han Sen.
Xue Xi was too focused on Qing Tian and joking around with him that she didn't hear nor see Han Hao leave.
Qing Tian on the other hand, noticed Han Hao leave and did nothing. He only thought to himself, 'Let's hope he's able to be mature and not do anything drastic.'
Smiling, Han Sen shook his head, "The same as you, I'm having trouble trying to get a mutant beast soul."
"Haha, it really is difficult," said Zhang Danfeng, already feeling a bit better. With a smiling expression, Zhang Danfeng turned to Qing Tian, "What about you Heaven? Did you get lucky or something?"
"Something like that," said Qing Tian with a chuckle. "I just got lucky when I helped escort some people around.
'Indeed I got lucky with that Life Essence,' thought Qing Tian with a smile.
"Haha, what a lucky man," laughed Zhang Danfeng.

Up in the ring, Tang Zhenliu defeated his opponent after a couple of moves. He smiled and waved to the crowd before transforming into a Sacred-Blood three meter tall tyrannosaurus, a Raging Dementor.
Tang Zhenliu walked around the ring, showing off the night of the Raging Dementor, his eyes wandering about the audience to look at all the happy faces.
Then, a pair of calm eyes caught his attention, then a scarlet red mark in between the eyebrows, and finally the handsome face…
'Oh dang! Is that Qing Tian, the monster from the competition a couple years back?'
Tang Zhenliu continued on with his theatrics, his eyes glancing at Qing Tian every now and then.
'I need to meet him after this…' thought Tang Zhenliu as he finished up his exhibition match and the little show he had prepared for everyone.

After the exhibition match, everyone got ready to leave and that's when the others finally noticed that Han Hao had left.
"Where'd he go?"
"No idea, but he was a bit off today, wasn't he?"
"Yeah, I hope he's alright."
"He probably went home early and didn't feel like bothering us, I'll check up on him later…"
Everyone grabbed their stuff and Zhang Danfeng went to pay the bill.
Waiting for Zhang Danfeng, Qing Tian began thinking about the stuff he's got to do in the future.
'Life Essences… I need to gather at least 150 of them,' thought Qing Tian with a wry smile. 'Luckily I know the location of at least 500,000 of them.'
Qing Tian however, wasn't thinking about how to get them, but what he's going to do with the beast souls of 150 Super creatures.
'There's going to be some useful ones in their, but I need to know what to do with the rest 140 Super beast souls.
He can't even hand them over to his wives because they will all more or less evolve with him. They will have no need for a Super beast soul and Qing Tian can't just throw them away.
'Should I just release them into my Realm of the Violet Jade Immortal and into the painting along with the other normal animals?' thought Qing Tian. He can't hand them over to someone else or even sell them because it's such a large amount of Super beast souls and everything will go badly if that happens.
'Might as well leave them in the painting…'

When Zhang Danfeng came back, he looked at everyone weirdly.
"What happened Frenzy?" asked Han Sen.
Zhang Danfeng blinked his eyes and said, "Someone… already paid for us?"
"Wait, really?" Xue Xi asked with shock as she put her hand over her mouth.
"…"
Qing Tian stayed quiet since he knew that there was only one person who would do that.
Tang Zhenliu.
'He paid and soon enough, he will come here in a disguise to talk with me,' thought Qing Tian as he stood there whilst everyone was talking about who could've been the one that paid.
Soon enough, a man wearing a wig and sunglasses said before Qing Tian quietly.
"Nice to see you again after all these years," said Tang Zhenliu with a small smile on his face.
"Haha, indeed," said Qing Tian with a smirk. "Looks like you haven't been slacking off, but you still need some work, especially with your shoulders."
"How about you? Have you gotten any better," asked Tang Zhenliu with a chuckle.
"Who knows," said Qing Tian, shrugging his shoulders with a nonchalant smile.
After a while of talking, Zhang Danfeng and the rest finally put the matter off who paid the bill and finally felt like leaving.
"Tian, who is this man?" asked Xue Xi curiously as she stood next to Qing Tian.
"He's a friend of mine," said Qing Tian. "Frenzy, let's head over to your airship so that my friend here can feel more relaxed."
"Yeah, sure," said Zhang Danfeng, not really minding.
As they walked over to Zhang Danfeng's airship, Tang Zhenliu decided to strike up a conversation with Xue Xi.
"Hey there, what's your name?" asked Tang Zhenliu with a smile. "You're pretty cute."
Blushing, Xue Xi grabbed ahold of Qing Tian's hand and smiled, "Thank you."
Qing Tian smiled wryly and held her hand back as he turned to Tang Zhenliu, "Looks like you were rejected before you even got to ask."
Chuckling, Tang Zhenliu nodded, "Can't do anything about it."
