Chapter 19: Friends.
Author's POV :
It was around 3 in the afternoon, Akihiko was still in Yeon's hospital room. Yeon was drinking the coffee Hiko had brought for him.
Fiang :"Yeon! Who were those guys?"
Fiang asked out of the blue. Yeon spat all the coffee.
Yeon :"Haha! Why are you asking this all of a sudden, I thought we were planning on how to help Hiko"
Hiko looked at Fiang.
Fiang :"This matter involves Shen, doesn't it!?"
Fiang looked at Yeon with a blank expression.
Yeon :"Alright! Alright! I'll tell you everything."
Akihiko :"Then-- I'll go back--"
Fiang :"No need. Stay!"
Akihiko :"Oh! OK!"
Akihiko was a bit no, a lot confused as to what does Yeon getting beaten is related to Shen but he kept silent.
Yeon clenched his fist.
Yeon :"I'm sure you must have seen the comments on Shen's pictures on the Uni's website as you are an active social media user. Shen asked me to find that guy so I asked one of our FRIEND for help, he gave me the necessary information
I went to talk to that guy, I knew that someone strong is behind him but I didn't knew that they'll be so daring to beat me in the University grounds but they did and that clearly means that this isn't a simple matter of slandering anymore someone is deliberately trying to hurt Shen."
Fiang :" And who exactly is that friend whom you asked for help? "
Yeon :"That weirdo Su Yin"
Fiang :"Don't call him weirdo, he's just a bit different."
Akihiko :"Who is trying to hurt Shen?"
'Already getting worried huh!' Yeon smirked.
Yeon :"I don't know. I just know they are using that good for nothing Lin Yong"
Akihiko :"Lin Yong! That boy who won the title of most handsome--"
Yeon :"Yeah! That one, how do you know him"
Akihiko :"I'm a student of Arts and media faculty. Ofcours I have to know these kind of stuff.... Why would he do such a thing?"
Yeon :"Obviously because he's jealous"
"Jealous!?" Both Fiang and Akihiko said at the same time.
Yeon :"Yup! I don't want to sound narcissistic but ofcours he's jealous because two new handsome guys took away his title"
Fiang :"I can guess one is Shen who's the other one?"
Yeon :"What~~~ You don't find me handsome?" Yeon pouted. Fiang turned red. Akihiko just smiled looking at both of them.
Akihiko :"I met all of you at Masquerade party but Su Yin wasn't there?"
Yeon :"That was good he would have scared you with his shitty personality. It gives headache"
Akihiko :"Huh!?"
Yeon :"Don't put too much pressure on your brain."
Akihiko :"But I wanna know about Sh--You guys"
Fiang :"Actually there's not much to tell. We recently became friends. He's not that close to us."
Yeon :"I really don't know why are we friends with him but whatever"
Akihiko :"How did you and Shen became best friends"
Yeon :"How do you--"
Akihiko :"Its so obvious with how you guys interact that you are quite old friends"
Yeon :"Yup we are since the beginning of high school we are best buddies. Then at college level Fiang came into the picture and became my world (Akihiko turned to see Fiang who was playing with his fingers. Hiko smiled). At first Shen nor did I trusted him but mostly it was Shen, he has slight trust issues because of his past. "
Akihiko :" Past! What past!? "
Yeon :" That is for Shen to tell you it's not my place to talk."
Akihiko :" Oh!"
Yeon :" As for Jing Ri he became our friend more like the mascot of the group when we entered the Uni we became friends because of his carefree but sometimes idiotic personality. And that Weirdo Su Yin you have met him before now that I think about it I did found you quite familiar you are that guy that bumped into us the other day. The guy you bumped with was the weirdo Su Yin. "
'In a talk of less than 10 min he have called this Su Yin guy a weirdo almost three times. Why is that' - Akihiko.
Akihiko :" Oh! Now that you have mentioned it, I remember it. "
Fiang :" I remember it too"
Yeon :"Now that I think about it I don't know why we became friends with him. He's always isolated from others, always doing something on his laptop or mobile phone. He's a genius when it comes to hacking. The weird thing I think is that his personality which changes like we change clothes. A few moments ago you were talking to a timid and easily scared guy and the next moment he'll behave as a rude and ridiculous person. "
Fiang :" I also find it quite weird but we can't judge him. We just became friends with him. Maybe he has his own problems. "
Fiang's phone rang.
Fiang :" Hello!.... Oh! Alright.... Be careful.....bike.....ok then drive carefully. Hmm!.... Bye! "
Yeon :"Who were you talking to so sweetly?"
Fiang :"I was talking to the love of my life"
Yeon :"WHAT!?... Who's that guy I'm gonna kill him."
Yeon said and was about to get up when a wave of pain went through his arm. He hissed in pain and held his arm. Fiang and Akihiko rushed to him. Fiang held him.
Fiang :"What are you doing? You'll hurt yourself"
Yeon :"What am I doing. I'm going to kill that son of a b--"
Fiang :"You were about to call Shen *Dramatic gasp*."
Yeon :"Shen!?"
Fiang :"Yup it was Shen . Hiko, Shen is coming here. I think you better leave now."
Akihiko :"Oh! OK then I'll take my leave... Bye guys."
"Bye"
Akihiko :"Thanks again!"
Fiang :"No need we are Friends."
Yeon nodded his head.
Akihiko bid them and came out of the room. He pressed the elevator's button. The door opened. Hiko stepped in and Shen came out of the elevator beside the one in which Hiko just entered. He went to Yeon's room.
Hiko came to Emma's room. This time he knocked and peeked in before entering. Better safe than embarrassed.
(I know it's not the real quote but the demand of the situation. He just doesn't want to be embarrassed agian😅😅)
Emma was sleeping and Mike was sitting on the sofa doing something on his phone.
Mike :"You're back!"
Akihiko :"Sorry I couldn't spend more time with you guys and now I have to go home."
Mike :"That's OK. Do you want me to drop you."
Akihiko :"Nah! I'll be alright on my own. Thanks. Then I'll leave. Pay my regards to Jie"
Mike :"OK"
Akihiko picked his bag came out of the hospital, hailed a cab and went back home.
In Yeon's room.

Shen came inside both Yeon and Fiang stopped talking when they saw Shen . It gave a suspicion feeling.
Shen :"What were you talking and why did you become silent once I came."
Fiang :"Ah... We umm. Yeah I was telling him that you're gonna kill him"
Shen :"Why would I kill him!?"
Fiang :"He said that he's gonna kill you and that you are son of a--Umm"
Yeon covered his mouth.
Yeon :"He talks too much, doesn't he?"
Shen :"Are you really injured or just pretending"
Yeon :"Shen-ah~~~ You're so mean."
Shen :"Fiang, are you just gonna stand there. Should I smack him?"
The three of them burst into laughter.
Akihiko's house.
Hiko entered his house a maid took his bag from him. Hiko bowed his head and entered the lounge. Yifeng was watching TV.
Yifeng :"You're back"
Hiko :"Where's Shijie!?"
Anjie :"Hiko! You are back"
Aki :"Shijie. I'm so tired and hungry."
Anjie :"Come let's have early dinner today. Yifeng you wanna eat now or later"
Yifeng :"I'll have it now"
They had there dinner and Akihiko went straight to his room. Fell on his bed and soon drifted to his dreamland, only to be awaken by a nightmare. He sat on his bed, went to the bathroom sat near the shower cubicle and started sobbing. He heard his room's door bieng opened and heard Yifeng and Anjie calling him. He covered his mouth with both his hands not to let any sound out. The door of the bathroom was opened and Yifeng ran to him.
"HIKO!!!"
Anjie stood at the door shocked to see Akihiko in such condition. Yifeng picked Akihiko up took him to his bed. Anjie walked up to the bed. Akihiko looked up.
Akihiko :"Shij--"
Anjie :"It's OK."
She placed Hiko's head on her lap and once again they slept in Hiko's room.
