Chapter 2: Coming home

"Dad"

"dad?"

Little Shawn called but his father didn't respond. Shawn became anxious and was about to walk towards his father when he felt that someone was holding his arm. Shawn looked down and saw a little kid who was probably younger than him, holding his hand and looking at him hopefully.

"Please don't leave Hyung," the kid said

"protect him, Shawn," Shawn's father said before walking away

"Dad, don't leave, please dad, don't just come back," Shawn said and the man stopped walking.

"your Dad is dead, I am not your dad," the man said his back was still facing Shawn

"then who are you," Shawn asked

The figure didn't say anything and turned around, the figure's face was completely burned, his eyes were completely black, this was definitely not his dad, this was a demon.

" hahahahaha"

Shawn woke up with a gasp, his entire body was drenched in sweat and he was gasping for breath, he drank some water and then looked at the watch it showed 5:00 am

'The same nightmare again ' he thought

He got up from bed and did his morning routine and got ready to go to the airport.

Shawn had been living abroad for 1 month now. Today he had to go back to his home.

When Shawn reached the airport he expected a simple welcome but no that can't happen, his family won't let that happen.

"SHAWN HYUNG"

Shawn looked at the owner of the voice and saw his silly brother standing there with a big smile on his face and a big poster in his hands, Shawn smiled at the childish behavior of his little brother and went towards him

"Shawn Hyung, I missed you so much," his brother said and hugged him tightly

"I missed you to Ryan," Shawn said and hugged his brother tightly

Ryan Jones a young talented lad of 23 years of age was Shawn's brother, best friend, and also his business partner. Ryan Jones was not Shawn's real brother, Ryan's father adopted Shawn after Shawn's father died and ever since then Shawn became a part of their family.

Ryan's family had always treated Shawn as their own; they had never discriminated amongst their children. Shawn loved Ryan like a real brother he also loved Amber and Bryan. Ryan's sibling's as a real brother.

The two broke the hug and Ryan gave the elder a big bunny smile and the elder smiled back

"Shawn won't you greet me," Amber said

"Noona," Shawn said and hugged her.

Amber was the kindest and gentle woman Shawn knew. Amber was smart, intelligent, and sensible all at the same time. She was a gentle soul but would become a devil if anyone dared to hurt her loved ones. Shawn really respected Amber and looked up to her.

"let's go, Bryan is waiting in the car," Amber said

"Bryan is also here?" Shawn asked and Amber nodded

"Come on Hyung let's go," Ryan said and dragged Shawn towards their car.

Soon everyone settled in the car, Shawn and Ryan sat at the back seat while Bryan sat at the driver's seat and Amber sat at the passenger seat

"Bryan, why didn't you come inside the airport to receive me?" Shawn asked "are you are not happy to see me"

"it's not like that Hyung, I didn't come inside the airport because I knew that this brat would create a scene and I didn't want to feel embarrassed," Bryan said

Bryan the youngest among them, his facial features were similar to Ryan's tall figure, brown eyes black hair, sharp jawline, and a handsome young lad.

"Who are you calling a brat huh?" Ryan said.

"you! who else?"

"Then what about you? huh, aren't you even a bigger brat than me young master?" Ryan said

"you!"

"Stop it, both of you, Ryan don't disturb him while driving and you stop arguing with Ryan, Shawn just came back, and instead of asking him about his well - being you guys are fighting like kids," Amber said with a gentle smile on her face

"sorry," both of them said in unison, making the other two people smile.

Shawn really loved these two dorks with all his heart, he really missed these small moments of happiness while was alone in a foreign country. He really cherished every moment spent with these people whom he considered as a family.
