Chapter 173: Naruko's Why
Shiro's eyes widened in shock, before he glanced at the baby, it does look like him, he glanced at Naruko, he really couldn't believe it. That Name restricted her, it should of reminded her of her past, not to mention, Jiraiya...no let's not mention him....
Naruko smiled at Shiro, "Yes, I know what your thinking Shiro-koi, but you are wrong in that part."
"The hatred and scorn...and my eventual banishment, from the very village I was supposed, to be held a hero, and protect from future enemies, the name Naruto...made me think of you...."
Naruko smiled softly at him, carressing her baby by the cheek, "I know of my parents, and how they were going to name me that name, if I was going to be a boy, because of Jiraiya's book, and I hate him for abandoning his duties for me in the village. But...Naruto is not related to any of that..."
She glanced back down at the baby,
"Naruto...to me...means protector...." she whispered, Shiro's eyes widened, "He reminds me of you, how you protected me from them, you knew the stakes, and you turned me into this....Naruto Identity, so that the villagers, wouldn't harm me...it doesn't remind me of pain, it reminds me of love, your love Shiro-koi, and not only that, it reminds myself, of just how much, I really love you.."
Shiro stared. The feelings he was feeling the moment she said this, amazement, shock, awe, joy, and pride?
"Naru-chan...you...."
Shiro could feel his cheeks become wet, he put his hand and touched it, he then realized that, yes...he was crying...
Naruko glanced back at him and smiled a smile, but this one, was the most beautiful smile, that she ever gave him, "I love you, Shiro-koi," she said, "I love you, so, very much....
Naruko didn't have to say it to him, just one glance at her perfect, blue eyes, told him everything he needed to know, those eyes showed a love that was unconditional, unparalleled.
"and...I thank you Shiro-koi..."
she gazed down at the baby, her face is so bright, Shiro had never seen Naruko so happy before. But Shiro could not blame her, she loves him, and Shiro feels the same for her, this feeling...the feeling was undescribable when he saw his baby boy for the first time...he...was...gorgeous....
Naruko glanced back at Shiro, and if possible, her smile grew wider...
