"What a coincidence, Minato. Didn't expect to run into you here. How's Kushina now? Has she returned to Konoha?"

Approaching Minato, Asahi stopped and spoke. Minato had just seen Asahi walking towards him, so he didn't leave and waited for Asahi.

Upon hearing Asahi speak, Minato responded, "Yes, it's quite a coincidence, Lord Asahi. Kushina has returned to the village for recovery, and she'll head back to the front lines soon."

Hearing Minato's reply, Asahi nodded and went straight to the point, asking, "Ah, I see. Is your mission this time related to the Dragon Vein?"

At these words, Minato hesitated for a moment before answering, "Yes, Lord Asahi. Indeed, the content of our mission this time is related to the Dragon Vein."

Facing Asahi's inquiry, Minato had no intention of hiding. Although missions were usually classified, he respected Asahi, who was Kushina's master, also he somehow guessed why Asahi was here too.

Moreover, considering Konoha's consistent attitude towards Asahi, there was no harm in sharing the information.

'Exactly as I guessed.' Asahi glanced at Minato team and thought to himself.

"Oh, I came for the Dragon Vein as well. I'm quite curious about its power. So, if you don't mind, shall we go together?"

Asahi extended an invitation without hesitating, not minding that they were in the middle of a mission.

Hearing the invitation, Minato hesitated for a moment before agreeing.

Asahi's strength wouldn't be a hindrance, and in case of any unforeseen circumstances, having someone to ask for help wouldn't hurt.

However, Minato was aware of Asahi's standing in Konoha, but his teammates behind him weren't.

Although they knew Kushina had a mysterious master, due to Asahi's short stay in Konoha, they weren't clear about how the Third Hokage treated Asahi.

So, when they heard about letting Asahi, an outsider, participate in their mission, Chōza and Shibi were a bit surprised and called out to Minato Namikaze, "Minato, we..."

However, before they could finish, Minato Namikaze interrupted them.

"Chōza, Shibi, it's alright. I'll report to Hokage-sama about the senior's involvement once we return to the village."

Upon hearing this, Chōza and Shibi exchanged glances. Since Minato Namikaze said so, what else could they say?

After all, Minato Namikaze was the leader of their mission this time, and they had to follow orders.

"Understood."

They responded and accepted the fact that they would be working with Asahi.

"Very well, let's set out. Kakashi, you're responsible for perimeter security. We'll go in and gather intelligence."

With unanimous agreement, Minato issued the command.

Asahi also glanced at the young Kakashi, but at this point, he didn't have many thoughts. This time he was focused on improving his strength.

At this moment, Kakashi, with a blank expression, stared straight at Sakumo behind Asahi.

Due to wearing a mask and the change in his aura after practicing Secret Art, Kakashi didn't recognize his "already deceased" father.

However, this didn't prevent him from feeling a familiar atmosphere from Sakumo. Since Sakumo appeared, Kakashi's gaze had not left him.

Yet, a ninja was still a ninja. Although he wanted to continue watching, Kakashi hadn't forgotten his identity.

Moreover, learning from the lesson of his father's demise, Kakashi quickly suppressed the chaotic thoughts in his mind. "Yes, Sensei!"

After saying that, Kakashi instantly left the original spot to carry out his mission. With Kakashi's departure, Sakumo felt a sense of relief in his heart.

Although not good at expressing himself, his affection for Kakashi was not lacking at all.

Watching Kakashi's noticeably subdued demeanor, combined with the fact that Kakashi had been staring at him, Sakumo was genuinely worried that he might have inadvertently revealed a flaw.

Now that Kakashi, who knew him best, had left, Sakumo's heart was considerably more at ease.

"Very well, let's enter Roran." At the same time, with Kakashi's departure, Minato issued the next command.

Everyone just acknowledged with a response and entered Roran.

What met their eyes were the tall towers, the modern-looking architectural ensemble, which seemed out of place in this era.

However, Roran at this time was indeed magnificent. This scene made Shisui and Yugito, who were behind Asahi, look on with curiosity.

Of course, except for Asahi, everyone present was curious about this city.

However, Minato and others were powerful ninjas, who could control their attention well.

Regarding these unrelated issues to the mission, they could control themselves and not pay attention.

As for Asahi, he was truly accustomed to it. After all, despite Roran's buildings having a futuristic feel, could they compare to modern urban areas?

The group moved through the city, and strangely, there were almost no pedestrians on the streets.

This phenomenon made Minato furrow his brow in confusion. Could it be that Anrokuzan had massacred the city?

This thought flashed in Minato Namikaze's mind but was quickly dismissed.

Soon, he negated this thought because if such a situation had occurred, Konoha couldn't have missed all the intelligence.

Therefore, there must be hidden circumstances behind this situation.

Of course, Asahi knew about the so-called hidden circumstances.

Although he had forgotten the specific details, he could recall the general storyline.

But Asahi didn't speak up to tell everyone. He wanted to follow behind Minato and personally participate in this major event in the ninja world.

If he revealed the true situation to Minato, he would immediately resolve the matter, wouldn't his efforts be in vain?

Anrokuzan was just a minor character; Asahi didn't believe that Minato cannot defeat Anrokuzan.

Despite the portrayal in the original story that made Anrokuzan seem strong, it took considerable effort for the Konoha team to defeat him.

However, upon closer observation, it was easy to notice that Minato, Chōza, and Shibi, the three strong Konoha jōnin, often slacked off.

Chōza Akimichi and Shibi Aburame were still okay; they exerted some effort in the early stages.

But Minato Namikaze, on the other hand, was a bit excessive, almost slacking off throughout the entire mission.
