Chapter 2: I Wish Nothing But To Rewind Our Times Back
"You outrageous!" Benjamin yelled in anger.
Natasha glanced toward Benjamin with a cold face. Until now, she has been quiet the whole time to give a chance for them to say what they want to say before she make her move.
Natasha knew if she didn't fight them, they would keep making trouble for her and no one are willing to help her because of her past life's personality.
It wasn't Natasha's fault that everyone hate her but she couldn't and wouldn't convince them that she is not the previous Natasha. What is the use to convince them if they already hate her like this?
"I know what I did to Rachel is beyond humanity and it would kill Rachel... But did you ever think that I did this because I just want your attention, Benjamin?" Natasha didn't want Benjamin to talk another gibberish thing so she start to say her thoughts first.
Benjamin was taken back for a bit and he watched Natasha with a shock written on his face.
"You may not realized my love for you because all you can see was Rachel's heart and love. You know I tried all this years to pursuing you so that you will love me back but I didn't get anything from you... Not even one glance from you. You despised me, tossed me aside and never want to do anything if that related to me... But it was all different with Rachel, am I right?"
"When it come to Rachel, you tossed everything only to get faster to her. You even dare to fight the deities only to keep her by your side but you forgot one thing, Benjamin... You kicked aside the people who always love you and care for you before that woman come to your life..."
"So, the question is... Did you ever thought about my feeling for you, Benjamin?" Natasha talking everything that come out from her mind. Right from the start, she know that whatever she talk was not something that come from herself but it come from the previous host.
'Don't worry, my friend... I will take justice for you so that you can rest in peace.'
Everyone seems to taken back at Natasha's sudden mark. Some of her words seems to be correct but at the same time, they think she deserved it because all this time, all the deeds she had done was a bad things.
Who can tolerated someone who always thinking on how to kill someone else?
"Before, I neither give up or regret anything about what I have done but right now... I can't feel nothing aside from regret, heart-broken and anger. I'm might be selfish in your eyes but I did it because I want to keep the person I love the most by my side. I only love you and I don't want any other man replace you in my heart..."
Benjamin, who were keeps listening right from the start, could feel something change from the deepest of his heart. But what Natasha said after that made everything crumbled in an instant.
"But now... I wish nothing but to rewind our times back. I wish I never met you. I wish I never love you. I wish I never been born in the same century with you. You despised me, who love you with all of your heart."
Benjamin saw Natasha's eyes glittering in sad and anger. Natasha was a beautiful lady from the start and when her eyes filled up with tears, it only make her personality become more pitiful.
"Stop talking rubbish, Natasha. Whatever you may say would never move our brother Benjamin's heart as he already have Rachel. You can stop talking now and better make your speech to apologise to Rachel," Benjamin's younger brother cut off Natasha's speech as he getting more bored and impatient each time Natasha talk.
Benjamin suddenly snapped out from his current state. 'Right, I already have Rachel. Why should I keep her by my side if that's only make Rachel sad?'
Natasha glanced over toward Samuel. "Oh, you really did care about your 'sister-in-law', Samuel. Now I wonder what did she ever did to you to make you take her side as well? We have been friend since we were little and yet you also tossed me aside after Rachel's arrival. Say, Samuel... Did you take our friendship as a joke?" A cruel yet correct fact was said by Natasha to Samuel.
Instantly Samuel's face turn pale before it turned red in few minutes later. "Sh—Shut up!"
"Stop your gibberish, Natasha. We brought you here not because we want to hear about that. We want you to confess and apologise to both brother Benjamin and Rachel," another Benjamin's young brother uttered.
Natasha shot her cold glance toward Rachel. 'Confess and apologise to this bitch?' Natasha subconsciously smirk devilishly to her, causing Rachel to trembled involuntarily. She quickly hug Benjamin's hand and with a pitiful face, she looked up onto Benjamin's face.
"B—Brother Benjamin, don't worry. I'll be fine. She doesn't have to apologise to me. After all, I understand why she did that." Even though Rachel want to make everythings finished early but what just she said make everyone in the hall become overestimate her words.
"Sister Rachel, what are you talking about? Of course this foolish woman need to apologise to you. She tried to kill you for four times. Who know what will she do to you next time."
"Sister Rachel, don't be too kind to this evil and two-faced woman. She is the worst woman in our kingdom... You can't just let her go just like that. She tried to make you and Brother Benjamin separated."
"Brother Benjamin, are you sure you just want to let this two-faced woman go just like that? I'm one hundred percent sure she would do other evil thing toward you and Rachel again!"
"We have many proof about her bad deeds, we can throw her to the dungeon. Let's put her in the jail so that we won't see her face again next time. I hate to see her demon face!"
Natasha's face turn colder. 'Demon face you said? How lame your naming taste is!'
"Benjamin, don't defend this woman again. Even though she is the Duke Rossett's daughter, no one in her family love her as well. So no one would care if we put her into the jail!"
Upon hearing many bad comment on herself and how desperate them to throw her to the dungeon, Natasha couldn't just stand there quietly and do nothing.
She lift up her hands straightly in the same line with her shoulder, indicating that she want everyone around her to stop talking and it works. Everyone saw the action and they closed their mouths.
"No need to throw me to the dungeon. I know that I'm guilty enough to both Benjamin and Rachel. I might be too foolish for all of my life to love a man that will never return my love back." Natasha glanced over to Benjamin and her gaze changed from cold into a gaze full of hatred.
Benjamin thought he looked it in a wrong way but what Natasha said later make his suspicion become true.
"I don't want to do anything related to you anymore, Benjamin. I declare that from now on, we have nothing to do with each other again... And I will stop pursuing you right now and for forever. If there any fate for us to be together again, I hope it won't happen in the next thousands of decades."
"Remember this, Benjamin. It was you who start this and it was you who end all of this. I give my blessing to both of you and I hope we never crossed path anymore."
When everyone hear what Natasha has said, they turned bewildered and flabbergasted. Neither of them could say anything.
Benjamin squinting his eyes toward Natasha to make sure of everything she said was true or she just say it for a show.
"And to make sure we never meet again in the future, I will move away from this kingdom and live far away from here."
And once again, gasped of befuddle reechoed through all over the place. All eyes on Natasha are either in confused or disbelieve.
