Chapter 39: Entrance test (Part 2)
They attacked as soon as the command was out.
'Attacking with power wielders from the front while agility one's by the flank. Judging methods and current movements of Xiao Wu, she won't use teleport to get behind, she will come from the top, thus only Tang San or Zhu Zhuqing will have enough time to get to my back.'
'Tang San is controlling battlefield, he will try to incapacitate me. Zhu Zhuqing doesn't have enough power to break even single petal, so one at the back. Two for Shen Ling, two for Bai Feng, three for Xiao Wu. What I need is to evade two ice beauties out there. So I can't stay in one place.'
Aiden smirked and directly slammed the ground with the sword fully encompassed by the aura. That move was very precise and fast, right into the point of origin of binding vines. Tang Sans skill was interrupted and Aiden disconnected from every petal except the ones from the side of Bai Feng and the top for Xiao Wu.

However, he wasn't able to get Rong Rong, Tang San reacted and used vines to move her behind momentarily converged ice wall.
"Not bad!" - Aiden smiled with tremendous battle intent flooding the square.
He jumped directly at Tang San, but just when he was about to get close Aiden suddenly vanished in thin air.
"What?" - all of them were astonished and only heard an explosion sounding by the side. Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er could not understand what happened and were directly hit from above flying out of the arena.
That was not some kind of teleportation, but another skill of Storm Reaper Divine art.
Second move: Judgment.

"We are loosing here and you are so happy, really lovestruck fool!" - grumbled Shui Yue'er finally noticing unbelievable abnormality with her sister.
Right at that moment, Shen Ling attacked with his pole, slamming the ground and shaking it, Aiden shifted blade for blunt edge and sent him flying out, directly giving him a huge bone slap on the chest.
"Your attacks are powerful, but with you being pole master they also are wide and relatively less agile. To perform well, you should have waited for Tang San to trap me. Remember, your best use in team battle is cooperation to finish of locked enemy."
Catgirl sprung to the side at this moment but was surprisingly caught by petals, arranged in box form, and right as she tried to escape one of them bursts open. Extreme freezing power entered her body slowing down and after that, a sword came shining with blinding light slamming into her with a blunt edge.
"Zhu Zhuqing, speed is your primary strength. So the secret of success is simple. Never stop moving. Your power is low, find weaknesses, blind spots, gaps in defense, and attack them all the time. Be patient as even one successful strike from you can decide the outcome of a match. Later I will show you a way to manipulate spirit power to increase penetrative ability and sharpness of your claws."
She said nothing laying on the ground near the edge of the arena, only nodded and one can see no hard feelings at all. On the contrary, she admired the strong and able. Zhu Zhuqing was keen to learn.
Several breaths later Tang San and Xiao Wu were out, and they brought the most trouble while fighting together. That only shows how much others stood in each other's way. They weren't able to fight good enough with others around. Well, that is actually understandable.
When there was only Rong Rong on the field Aiden actually just shrugged at her and waited until she got off herself. Surprisingly, she never did and remained standing there. He didn't mind, instead opting to talk. After all, he didn't want to fail them, and the only unsatisfactory person in his mind was Bai Feng. Not because he had a conflict with him, but because he attacked with overconfidence without even paying attention to weaknesses of his skills.

"Oh? Everyone thinks that way?"
"Brother Aiden, it is not actually about arrogance at all." - Tang San said shaking his head. Shen Ling didn't even understand why Aiden said so, but Tang San could see it throughout the entire battle.
"Correct! What I meant is that if in my place was for example Zhao Wuji despite him being stronger than me in a one-on-one duel, you would have more chances to win. Do you know why?"
"Weakness!" - Shui Bing'er came to him and was slightly shy to speak. - "Zhao Wuji is a renowned master of defense and his weakness is speed, but you, b-brother Aiden is different. Speed? You are very fast. Defense? Petals are very strong and we can see it. Power? Your sword strikes have outstanding penetrating force. Control? You got ice that can freeze and lightning that can shock. Even your stamina is way to perverse!" - she exclaimed at the end and suddenly found something wrong with the last sentence, but didn't dwell on it. - "You have no obvious weakness."
"That's right!" - Aiden smiled at her with a gleam of approval deep within platinum-purple eyes. This little emotion didn't go unnoticed by Bing'er who was very keen in the social areas and made her feel fulfillment. - "You fought a versatile person who could perform every role and use it to target your own weaknesses. Plus, I'm way stronger than any of you in a duel type battles so when your cooperation broke down it is nearly certain defeat. Actually, the most dangerous moment for me was at the very start of the match."
"Indeed." - Tang San nodded with a thoughtful look. - "However we screwed up big time."
"Yes, and the foremost reason came from your teamwork, not individual strength. Well, if I were to decide who goes and who stays, I would let every single one of you enroll. After all, academies are there to train gifted, and you all are gifted."
"Thank you, senior brother Aiden." - some people walked up and thanked, but others were deep in their thoughts.
"Oh, we call him senior brother Snow on such occasions." - corrected them Dai Mubai with a smile, receiving a disdainful glare from Aiden.
"On which occasions? If it is you, I can think only of one type you periodically have with a bunch of females in a love hotel." - Aiden laughed at him.
'Occasions, my foot. You spoke in such a cryptic way that it's nearly impossible to see the underlying meaning.'
Dai Mubai scoffed gracefully, feeling the mental jab, showing a master level above the world attitude of not giving a fuck.
Zhu Zhuqing looked at the duo, perplexed. She didn't get what they were talking about, only the females part, to which her gorgeous face frowned a bit, and after that deep black eyes looked icily at the culprit of indecency.
Just as Aiden was about to continue he heard Nexus and got very excited.
