Chapter 5: Who is she?
YUVI'S POV:
Finally, I am MARRIED * note the sarcasm, "MARRIED"
"But! yeah, I m not regretting it"
"WHOEVER AND HOWEVER SHE IS, SHE IS MY WIFE"
All the post-wedding rituals were quick because mom made us do only rituals which were essential and significant but still, it was evening 5 when we reached the house. This Indian wedding always keeps occupied.
As soon as we reached there, my mom took her with her.
Nooo! Literally snatched "My wife" from me.
Yeah, I want to confront her but mom took her, No snatched her! What to do all my fate.
I was fuming inside but the same time I felt helpless.
Dad asked me to rest in a room, so I went to the room where I stayed yesterday. I went there waited for a long time, I don't know when I dozed off.
After a short nap, no actually a long sleep. As I was hell tired I slept deeply and I woke up as my stomach grumbled.
I did not eat well in the afternoon so now I feel famished, as I woke from the bed I saw a plate of chapati (wheat flatbread) laying on the bedside table.
I don't know who kept it, so I turned to the other side there I saw her sleeping peacefully. What! PEACEFULLY? How can she? Is she ok with this marriage?
But whatever I m gonna give a chance to our relationship, my thoughts were interrupted by my growling stomach.
So I decided to eat, after eating I looked at her. I didn't have the heart to wake her in this midnight, she was like a cute baby sleeping. So, I decided to sleep again.
The night was like a blink of eye, when I woke up it was already 9.
Oh! Shit, I m late! I quickly took bath and descended down, when I reached dining Balakrishnan uncle was having his breakfast when he saw he just smiled and asked me to join him.
The only thing I know about my wife is that, she is BALAKRISHNAN UNCLE'S DAUGHTER.
Yeah, that's all I know about Aandal. But I know I m missing something. I want to talk to her. My thoughts were interrupted by his words
"TAKE CARE OF MY DAUGHTER, SON" He said with a glint of tears in his eyes.
"SURE UNCLE! MORE THAN YOUR DAUGHTER, NOW SHE IS "MY WIFE " SO DONT WORRY ABOUT HER. YOU CAN ALWAYS TRUST ME WITH YOUR DAUGHTER" I told him with full confidence. I don't know from where I got that confidence.
"I TRUST YOU SON" He said and went after giving me a nod.
YEAH! SHE IS MY WIFE WHO GAVE HER LIFE TO SAVE ME! AND MY FAMILY FROM losing OUR DIGNITY. AND NOW SHE IS MY WIFE! MY FAMILY! SO I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR HER & OUR HAPPINESS AND WELLBEING! SHE IS MY ANGEL!
Then after my breakfast, I saw her Yesss! My wife is in kitchen with mom and Sundari. She was sitting on the tabletop, they were talking, smiling and even laughing it was a beautiful sight to see how Daughter in law and Mother in law were sharing their bond.
She is cute, lovely, beautiful, divine, angelic, and also sweet. Ahhh! I have no more words to describe. Yeah, she is angel MY ANGEL!
I went to the living area, there my dad and uncle were seriously discussing something,
I walked towards them so that I can get some information about my angel but, my luck is not in my favor uffff!
I got an urgent call it was about a new deal with my client and they want some clarification immediately.
So I went to my luggage, took my laptop and started a video conference. My head was throbbing already, now it increased a lot.
The meeting continued till 3 in the evening and in the middle my angel came to call me for lunch. But I just signaled her that I will have afterwards, she left after giving me a genuine smile. It was like a booster for me.
I felt my body getting heated up. My temperature shooted up, I think I have mm fever. I freshened up and descended down.
Everyone was getting ready to leave. I was searching for mom and my angel, they were together I went towards them my angel asked me.
"ARE YOU NOT FEELING WELL"... she asked My! God she cares for me. I mentally started dancing.
"YEAH! JUST A MILD FEVER" I told them, mom touched my forehead.
"I will get a tablet for you" She told me and went upstairs to bring medicine for me. As I swallowed the tablet mom asked us to get ready.
So I went up and bought my luggage, Aandal was already seated in the car when I arrived. So I went and sat beside her, Uncle was seated at the front, so we dint have any conversation.
Why everyone is doing this is to me?
No one is giving me privacy with my wife its not fair!!! I whined mentally as I can't do it physically.
Then we went to some temple and prayed. The whole time I felt dizzy while exiting the temple I held her hand to protect myself from falling. She saw me with a sad expression and gave me a knowing look.
I don't know what it was filled with, sympathy? care? or was it just Humanity? I don't want it to be humanity.
When we came out Balakrishnan uncle gave us a warm hug and told us to sort out everything soon, we just nodded at him.
What to say? other than nodding, I don't have anything.
I couldn't stand by myself, so she took me to the car, only the driver was there with us. I became unconscious in her shoulder, but I don't know when I slept in her lap.
When I rose up and saw her, she was in deep slumber so I left her to sleep I slept for 4 hours and there is an hour more to reach our home.
Taking this as an opportunity, I started to admire her, thick black straight hair with natural burgundy in its end reaching just below shoulders, thick natural eyebrows, and lashes, a small bindi between her brows, sharp nose with full pink lips having a small black mole in her chin and a small scar in near her eyebrows, neither slim nor curvy but she was like fit, her glowing wheatish skin, and when she looked at me while giving the tablet Aahh! That chocolate brown eyes just melted me.
"Arghh! Yuvi just stop you are behaving like a creep" My subconscious mind stated.
" Am I? Nope, absolutely not she is my wife" I retorted back.
"Did she tell you?" It perplexed me.
" Did she? No! She didn't, no, no, no, no, but I know she accepted our relationship" I defended myself to myself.
"She did not say to you, then how do you know that she accepted your so-called relationship" Again it interrogated me with an evil smirk.
This is all my fate my own subconscious is mocking at me. Shit!!
" She smiled at me and also she cared for me "I defended again.
" That smile she smiled to all your whole family and about caring that is called humanity" now it cackled at me.
"Whatever!" Now I don't wanna fight with my own subconscious.
See how I am gone crazy already!
When we reached home I shook her, she woke up with a jerk. Then mom welcomed us.
Mom told us to go and sleep as it was already dark but my dad called me for sending off some close relatives, so I showed OUR ROOM to her and went along with dad.
Why everyone is coming as a villain in my life, No one is leaving me and my angel alone at least for an hour. If they leave either of us will snooze.
After sending off everyone I went to our room excitedly, I was beyond excited and also distressed.
And to my bad luck, she has already slept. So I also went and slept beside her..God !! Tomorrow at least give me some time.
Even this sleep is acting as my enemy!
The next morning came, it was only morning but not good morning!! see, again my angel is missing, Is she avoiding me?
I don't know. After the shower I dressed in formals, and descended down. My dad was in the living reading his newspaper,
"Morning dad" I said.
"Good morning, son, are you heading to the office?" he asked without tilting his from the newspaper.
"Yeah, dad an important meeting regarding the new project. Are you three coming to the event tonight?" I asked him nervously, I especially want to know about my angel, I know he is not interested but I asked only, to involve her.
"No, son we are not coming and about your wife she ll be attending, I ll send her" he told
"By the way, where are they your wife and my wife" I asked him directly.
" My wife and"
Interrupted by a call.
"Bye dad. Yeah! morning Jose .... "
I came and started my car. My mind was fully occupied by her.
I was halted by the traffic jam. Damn it!!!
I waited for more than 30 minutes..
Shit!!
It is already 10, I want to reach office at least before 11 but this city traffic is making it impossible.
Getting frustrated, I went out to see what happened.
The sight made my head spin...
