Chapter 18: Hugged
He removed his arms and was about to go to the door when Marinette pulled his arms and twirled him around to peck him on the cheek. "Thank you. Goodnight, my love." Marinette closed the door behind him and left a broken Adrien to stand there and marvel at what had just happened. A goofy smile spread across his red face as he put his hand in the place she kissed it.

Jealousy filled his violet eyes as he watched Adrien walk away from the chambers giddily in the purple smoke. His red hair hug over his face and tears were slightly coming out of his eyes.
The smoke started to fade away and he sat in silence until a small voice called out . "Master Evilustrator?" Then he yelled and flew into a rage wrecking everything in his sight. Books were thrown on the floor violently. Glass shattered as it fell to the ground. Papers flew wildly in the room.
A girl stood at the corner completely frightened, trembling and ready to run away. Evilustrator stopped panting, and composed himself realizing he was in the presence of someone else. He straightened out his collar and shirt then finally spoke.
"Have you retrieved the package?" "Y-Yes, master, it is right here in my basket." the auburn- haired girl said "Good. Set it on the table. The girl nodded and quickly set the basket with the package inside. Even though the atmosphere was very awkward, she had calmed down a bit more.
"Now remember, you are not to tell anyone of this, understand?" Yes, Master Evilustrator." "Good, you are free to go." He turned away from the girl and sat on a stool by a fogged up window. He sighed heavily picked up one of the books.
The girl turned to go but, was too concerned about the poor man to leave. The girl walked quietly towards him. He was too distracted by his book to notice the arms that started to snake around his upper body.
He looked up in surprise to the soft, yet cold touch. Then she leaned in closely and whispered in his ear, "I thought you needed one." For a heartbeat, he could feel the inside of him warm up. After a second the girl released him, and quietly walked away closing the door behind her, leaving him alone to his thoughts.
A few seconds passed and he sat there silently. Then he finally got up and walked over to a piece of paper that had caught his eye. It read, 'Assignment Papers; Numerical code name: Serv 8181; English name: Hana; Age: 16; Assigned to: Lord Evilustrator.'
He scanned the phrases over and over again. He was interrupted by the click of the door. The girl had returned with a tea set on a tray, along a couple powdered cookies on a smile white plate. "I'm sorry to intrude again, Master Evilustrartor. I thought you might want a little something."
She came in and set the tea set next to the package. All was silent except for the sound of the hot water falling into the small cup. He stared at the kind girl. "Would you like it with sugar and cream?"
When he didn't answer she asked him again. "Uh, just cream, thank you." The girl looked at her master surprised at his politeness. She simply smiled and poured the milky substance in the tea. When she was done, she turned to go. "Wait."
The silence that filled the room was almost deafening, she simply stared at the door a bit scared at her master's tone. Had she done something wrong, was she going to be... "Thank you... Hana."
She turned to him surprised it was the first time she had ever heard him say her name. She smiled gratefully at him. "Y-Your welcome, master." "She simply curtsied and left the room happily.
When she left he simply sat down and grinned evilly at the basket with the package. "With this, I'll finally have Marinette's heart. I must prepare." He grabbed all the books he had knocked onto the floor earlier and set them down on the table. He took one of the books and opened it eagerly.
Then he looked at the tea set with the small powdered cookies for a moment, and returned to his work. But if you looked closely enough, you could see even the faintest smile on his face as he drank his tea, the girl, had brought him.
