Love is a strange feeling. It is the cause of pain and it is the cure of pain...
The person who inflicts pain..
who is the reason of our pain..
that person is the only cure for that pain..

Matthew was thinking about his cure closing his eyes. A smile came on his lips. In fact he was continuously smiling..
Tigrith shook his head upon seeing his this love stricken face... He let him enjoy this feeling and got up , ready to go.
Matthew opened his eyes and asked innocently ," Ummm... How should I make Christie realise my love?"
" What!!! She doesn't know??" asked Tigrith frowning.
" Yeah... She doesn't know. I mean her memories haven't returned.. " replied Matthew.. His smile faded away thinking about Christie's ignorance of their love and soul bond..
Tigrith slapped his forehead. He laughed and sighed,
" Matthew, you are behaving just like a teenage boy.. She will gotta know everything. Just give her time. And I have arranged for the celebrations. You both share an irreversible soul bond . There would be a grand ball. There would be many chances of your being together and expressing your feelings. "
Matthew nodded and said releasing a deep sigh," Alright!!, I am looking forward to the ball. But I can't wait any more ."
They were discussing about these things when they saw Christie walking towards them . She was wearing a sky blue colored gown.. She had let her hair loose. Her hair were flowing on her face and she was trying hard to tame her rebellious hair.
Matthew was just mesmerized on seeing her. She was looking like a fairy..
The most beautiful woman in the world... Matthew's mouth was wide open like a child with amusement.
Tigrith was rolling his eyes by the look of his face. He raised his hand on his chin and closed his mouth by pushing it upwards.
Christie laughed at his this action..
Tigrith stood up and bowed his head to welcome Christie.
" Well , I will take my leave now. I have to make arrangements for the ball", saying this he stood up and left.
Matthew shook his head. He got up and sat on in a leaning back position while putting both hands behind his back on the ground. His legs were straight crossing each other.
" May I?" asked Christie, raising her eyebrows.
" Of course! " said Matthew happily.
Christie wanted to shout loudly, announcing to the whole world that she loved him.
But she stopped herself. She wanted Matthew to make his first move.
Matthew was smiling at her. His lips curved upwards making his dimpled chin looked more seducing. His eyes were shining like the stars. Christie also got lost in his eyes. They both were looking into each other eyes. No one wanted to avert the gaze.
Suddenly there was a loud roar of a powerful beast and a crash on the ground. With a thunderous strike, there appeared a Griffin in the garden. Christie's gaze broke upon hearing that noise. She looked at the Griffin.
The Griffin didn't wait and ran towards Christie.. It brought it's face closer to Christie and rubbed it against her face..
It was Tigris, her favourite pet..
Christie was also thrilled upon seeing him. She patted his head ..
Matthew knew the reason the way Tigris was behaving. But he looked doubtful when he saw that Christie was not afraid of him..
" Are you not afraid of him,? he asked questioningly.
" And why should I be afraid..?? Christie replied back.
" I mean it is more likely that pretty girls are afraid of such creatures. So I thought.." replied Matthew , twitching his lips.
" Yes, but I find him cute... Isn't it so..? Christie asked while cupping Tigris face in her hands and pinching it like a baby.
Matthew felt jealous of the amount of affection and attention Christie was showering on Tigris. Matthew was sending angry glares at Tigris but Tigris totally ignored him and sat besides her, putting its head in her lap.
Christie looked at Matthew's childish behaviour and couldn't help laughing.
" By the way, I am sorry... umm... for the words that I spoke on that day.." she raised her eyes and locked her eyes with his eyes..
Matthew's mood instantly dampened upon remembering the events that occurred on Christie's birthday. He avoided her gaze and looked at the flowers in the garden.
On her birthday, Matthew was standing in the patio waiting for Christie to present his soul necklace to her but Christie, oblivious to his presence, told her father that she was scared of him..
It left Matthew heart broken and he went on a killing rampage. He was stopped only when he found Christie in deadly crisis.
Christie was also feeling sorry for the words , she said on that day..
Christie saw Matthew's spoiled mood , so she took the initiative to divert his attention.
" I want to look around.. I mean the castle.. Can I?" she asked with hesitation.
Matthew stood up and offered his hand to Christie with narrowed eyes. Christie put her hand into his hand without any hesitation to get up. When she stood up, she tried to pull her hand but Matthew shamelessly held her hand without any intention to let it go.
Christie was really finding Matthew's childish gestures too cute.. She wanted to pinch his cheeks.. but she held her feelings so that she can display them at a proper moment..
Matthew led Christie to show her the castle. They were walking in the long corridors of the castle. Christie was trying to remember the memories of her previous life. The servants working on the way, bowed their heads to show their respect. Christie's heart was fluttering. Same was the case with Matthew. He couldn't stop grinning. His mouth was arched in a smiling position. He was never that happy since Caroline had left the world....
They both were wishing in their hearts to protect their love from any evil eye...
Their love had passed the test of the time and had come victorious..
Though Christie was holding Matthew's hand but her feet were following her heart.. Unknowingly her feet stepped towards Matthew's room..
