The roaring sound of an approaching car revving on the facade of the American craftsman bungalow intrudes like a profanity with its horn honking simultaneously. Nanny Lourdes gets the keys and runs in commotion to open up the gates. Larisa brought Charlotte's children and made them comfortably sit on the sofa. Larisa faced the three little children and kneeled in front of them.
"Your mommy is here, show her you behave attitude, understand? Stay here and I'll be right back. Madison, keep an eye to your siblings." She got up and walked swiftly to the garage. She was surprised by the abrupt advent of Charlotte. Usually, she used to be at home when the clock strikes at seven, but if this happens, she is obviously with Hunter.
Larisa waved at them when she saw them coming to her way. As expected, Hunter will stay in Charlotte's house 'till next month, a week before Sir Connor, Charlotte's husband, went back here. "Hi hunter," they shook hands and kissed Charlotte's in her cheeks. "Hi, sis! You look so blooming today. I guessed you're fully charged. Haha." That's Charlotte's second rule, always give Hunter the first greeting before her to offer him respect. "The kids are waiting for you inside, I'll go gonna help Nanny with your things." Larisa excused herself when Charlotte asks her a follow-up question. "Where is Devika?" 'Oh, shocks!' she muttered to herself. It's all right, it's only been an hour since they dropped her to the subdivision's entrance. "Her today's schedule ends later at four o'clock--" She automatically glanced at her wristwatch, "I mean now, but she needs to run some errands after class because they will be having a group presentation on one of her minors that we're not a classmate."
"Oh, I see." Charlotte shortly replied, then she and Hunter went inside, while Larisa gets Hunter's suitcase and baggage from the car's compartment. Nanny Lourdes, she's in her mid-30's though, only get the not more than ten plastic bag of groceries. "Mark the day today," Nanny Lourdes whispered to Larisa as they walked inside the house. "Because today is the start of our Chivalrous day!" they both said in chorus in a low manner and laughed afterward.
"Sis, where do I gonna put your honey bunch's baggage?"
Hunter got up from playing with the kids. "Let me be the one to do that." When the kids are around, Charlotte and Hunter pretend like they were friends. The kids call them 'uncle,' except for Madison because she is not fonding of Hunter's presence. Madison is an eight-year-old bright child and the eldest. She usually became hostile when he's around, which resulted in a fight between her mom.
"Yep. Let him be. He's not a visitor anymore, he used to live here when Daddy's not home and leaves when Daddy's arrived." Madison stamped her feet as she runs back to her room and locked its door. Charlotte's blood rises and runs after her child. She knocked on the door hard and loud while screaming her daughter's name. "Who told you to be rude like that in front of your uncle, Madison Elish?! Open this door!" But still, Madison doesn't open it up.
She gets her earphones on and covers herself with her blankets with a pillow underneath. She knew her mom would hit her again. Her warm tears flow down to her face. "Lourdes, give me the key copy of this room's padlock." Nanny Lourdes walked forward and gave her the key. "Here, ma'am."
Charlotte locked her daughter up thinking she's like before, afraid alone in the room and crying herself to sleep. Little did she know, her daughter, Madison, is already used with her unreasonable punishments. "You're locked up for three hours. Do you hear that? You little brat!" After that stressful encounter with her daughter, Hunter, together with his baggage, walks near to her and associate her to their room, originally Charlotte and Connor's room. "Nanny cooked something delicious, I have a visitor tonight."
Meanwhile, Devika fell sleep while Jaxon is hugging her from behind after their four rounds of sex. Unlike her, Jaxon is not sleeping.
