Chapter 207: An attack in night

"How long will it go like this Bella? One day you would have to tell Akalia about her father." Clara said while she was slowly running her fingers through her daughter's hair who had her head laid in her lap. 

"What will I tell her mom? That yes he is your father who doesn't remember your mother and who doesn't even know about your existence." She replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

After Xavier left that day, she broke down and cried for hours roaming in the woods after she told Akalia that she was going out to fetch some woods. She didn't know what to do but at that moment she knew if he had stayed a little while longer before her eyes she would lose it. 

The eyes that were once filled with warmth and love for her were looking at her like he never knew her ever. The scarce bond they had was broken. He didn't even remember her scent. How will she live on with that burden over her heart?
