Chapter 23: BOARD MEETING

Cerian.

Two things woke me up , the annoying cock crow from my alarm and the other being a gentle shove from Denver. Mostly it was the alarm.

"Morning," Denver greeted and I responded with an incoherent mumble.

After yawning,I sat up and looked at the window. The sun seemed to smile at mine,so I smiled back at it before turning my attention to Denver. He looked and smelled fresh from the shower. He was wearing a bathrobe and had a towel wrapped around his head to you know keep water from dripping on the carpet...

"What time did you get up?" I asked.

"Seven,please get in the bathroom, we can't afford to be late,"

I obeyed, slid out of bed and went straight into the bathroom. I felt some sort of relief when the first drops of hot water hit my skin as my senses fully awakened. In as much as I loved hot showers, I couldn't stay in the bathroom longer than I would normally . Minutes later,I was out feeling fresh and smelling like cucumber and lemons.
