Chapter 3: THREE
The crowds clapped as Jeong Hyeok finished his performance. He received a standing ovation from everybody. Dan was also awed by his performance. Jeong Hyeok bowed and continued backstage. Dan was standing there watching the audience nervously. Jeong Hyeok smiled and walked to her.
"Seo Dan-ssi."
"Oh, Jeong Hyeok-ssi. Your performance was really good."
"Thank you. Are you nervous?" Jeong Hyeok asked her even though he can already see the nervousness that is painted on her face.
"Uhh yeah. I'm very nervous. Your performance was really good and the people loved it. I don't know if they'd love my performance."
"Hey, I know you'll do your best and the people will love you. Seo Dan-ssi, hwaiting."
She smiled at Jeong Hyeok and went at the center of the stage. She watched the audience inside the Dôme de Paris and smiled. She picked up her cello and started playing her piece.
All that was in her mind while she was performing is Gu Seung Jun.
"Gu Seung Jun, I am in Paris performing this piece for you. I'm performing here in this big dome. I wish you can see me now."
From the start until the end of her performance, all she thought about was Gu Seung Jun. He is her inspiration to do her best in everything. She is performing with all her heart because of him. After she performed, the audience were silent. They were astonished by her outstanding performance. She smiled at everyone and walked to the backstage. And before turning away, someone caught her eye.
"Gu Seung Jun?"
Ri Jeong Hyeok is approaching her to congratulate her for her performance.
"Seo Dan-ssi, your perf---"
He was cut off because Dan suddenly ran away.
Dan followed the guy out of the arena. She ran around to find him and saw a guy who's back was facing to her. She ran towards the guy and grabbed his arm to face her. But when she saw it wasn't who she expected, she frowned.
"Yes miss?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought you're someone I know. Sorry if I disturbed you."
She immediately walked back inside the arena where Jeong Hyeok was waiting for her.
"Hey, is there a problem?" Jeong Hyeok asked her.
"No. Nothing."
She just passed Jeong Hyeok and is getting ready to go to her hotel room and rest. But her other friends insisted that they should stroll around Paris and have fun. She wanted to say no but she also wants to have fun tonight so she said yes. Jeong Hyeok decided not to come because he wants to rest early so he said goodbye to everyone.
The first place they went to was the Eiffel Tower. They took different pictures there but Dan's mind was still drifting off. She's still thinking about the man that she saw inside the arena.
I know that it's him. My heart knows. Her mind was still drifting away when her friend Baek Minji suddenly called her.
"Seo Dan-ssi! Yah, come here. Someone wants to meet you."
"Oh? Oh, okay."
When she saw who it was, her heart suddenly beat fast.
