Chapter 1: I love you!

"I-I love you!" words that just immediately slipped out of my mouth. Maybe this is the right time to confess! My knees trembled, lips quivered, my heart loudly beat as I was waiting for his response. I've waited so long for this to happen! Just as what I was expecting, it should be exciting as this! Under the stars, just the two of us! I wish I have worn my best dress, but it doesn't matter!

Unexpectedly, he just shuddered at my confession and looked at me as if I said something stupid… 'Can't you see? I built up my courage just to say this to you!'

"Y-you're c-crazy! You need help!" he shouted as he slowly walk backwards, away from me, "I-I'll never be with someone like you! Just stay away from me!" he swiftly ran away, leaving me in this dark, cold alley. I just stood there, dumbfounded. 'Maybe he's just too overwhelmed by my sudden confession?'

I frowned and looked at the bloody knife in my hand, my eyes landed on the lifeless body of a woman lying on the ground. I smirked at the thought of eliminating one of my rival. Why does he even prefer this slutty girl over me who's doing everything for him since day one?

"Geez. I did all of this for you… and yet, you wouldn't give me a chance…" I whispered and lazily grabbed the body on the floor, "… So now, what should I do with you?" of course, that dead body won't answer. Idiot!

As I aimlessly drag the body, it started to drizzle, as if it's mocking me for my failure.

"Yeah! I know! He's not worth it!" If I can't have him... then maybe he should be the next lifeless body that I'm dragging. It's not like it's a big deal... I mean... he's the eight man who rejected me... I've been doing this since childhood...

The thunder rumbled, as if it's answering my raging soul. I deeply took a breath and sighed. I need to think. I need to clear my mind.

Soon, the drizzle turned to heavy rain. The cold wind hit me which made me shiver.

"Are you cold too?" I asked the body, "Never mind, you're an animal that's always in heat so I bet it doesn't matter."

The peacefulness that the rain brought was instantly disrupted by the wailing siren of a police mobile. I instantly dropped the hand of the lifeless body that I've been dragging for what feels like an eternity. 'Is this the end? After all of the sacrifices that I made?'

"Hands where I can see 'em!" the police officer shouted. I slowly raised my hand. I once again took a glance on the dead body on the ground and snickered. Didn't plan to spend my last moment with this bitch.

Before the police officer can even lay a finger on me, I grabbed his arm and elbowed his head. He immediately collapsed, unconscious. As expected, it won't be a trouble. Just a piece of cake.

The heavy rain became even more heavier. Is there an incoming storm? Not that it matters though. The sky seem to light up as streaks of pure white flashed one after the another.

My eyes widened at the chilling view. I felt having goosebumps all over my body. Being in an open area with thunder and lightning is never a good idea, right? Maybe I'll just leave this dead body here, with this unconscious officer. I don't care. I need to save my self as soon as possible.

Before I could even move, a streak of lightning rushed towards me. The lightning seem to cover and envelope my whole body. My eye rolled at the back of my head because of the immense pain that traveled throughout my body.

As it ended, I collapsed on the ground, slowly loosing my consciousness. What seemed to be a minute felt eternity. I can't move my body. The smell of my burnt clothe lingered on my nose.

Well, maybe this is better than being in jail, I guess...

Birds noisily chirping, the freshness of air and the annoying ray of sunshine greeted me as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Where am I?" I slowly sat on the bed, examining the room. What am I doing in this weird-ass room? Like, seriously? Vines and flowers as a decoration? Wood-like furniture. Wooden bed, wooden table and chair. Even the door and window is wooden! and it's not even the typical wood!

The creak of an open door interrupted my endless thoughts. A girl with an unusual clothing entered the room. When she saw me, she immediately panicked and bowed down. I-is that wi—

"A- ah! G-Goddess Natasha! Y-you're awake! I'm sorry for the disturbance. I will immediately report this to Lord Leornadius!" with that, she quickly left the room. Did she call me a Goddess? She'll report to Lord who?

In frustration, I scratched the back of my head, but I immediately stopped as I touched something on my head. What is this? Is this a... a flower crown!? I instantly removed in in my head and threw it in disgust. Now that I noticed it, why do I even have a long, silver hair? What's with this fairy tale-like world?

Maybe I'm still dreaming or something... what even happened to me? No. Idling in here won't solve anything. It will just waste ton shits of time...

I stood up and walked towards the window... or whatever you can call it. As I opened it, bunch of trees came into a view. I'm in a somewhat isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere. I took a peek outside and slowly sat in the frame of the window. Tch. This stupid dress is getting in my way. I once again peeked at what's outside and took a deep breathe. It's not like I'm gonna die from this. It's not that high...

I closed my eyes and jumped. As I jump, I expected a loud thump once I landed on the ground but almost a minute passed, I didn't feel anything, not even a painful feet like I always felt in the past.

I slowly opened one of my eyes and realized that... I'm floating... and I'm only an inch away from the ground... wait-what? And just as I noticed, I immediately landed on the ground.

"Goddess Natasha? What are you doing here? You should still be in bed!" a lady shouted which made me run towards the woods. She shouted something but I didn't quite understood it. All I did is to run.

'I need to run away from these crazy people as soon as possible!'

When I'm certain that I'm somewhat far away from them, I started to slow down. I placed my hand on my chest as I tried to gasp for air.

'W-why am I gasping for air? What's with this frail body? So annoying.'

I continued walking towards the woods then a stench of what seem to be a rotting flesh greeted me, and there stood a gigantic figure.

"Well, what do we have here..."
