"Since you didn't answer any of my calls, I called Lily and told her to inform you that I was gonna pick you up for lunch. Seeing how you rush out earlier I guessed she didn't inform you about our plans," Clark said sounding disappointed.

That means he followed me from my office all the way here.

Stephanie thought staring at him.

"I guess that was what she was about to tell me before I left the office," Stephanie said carefreely.

"Although she couldn't tell you about our plans it is not too late for us to have lunch right?" Clark asked. Not only did the way they interacted looked awkwardly, everything at that moment looks awkward.

"Ok, let's have our lunch in D.L Palace restaurant...,"

"Sure," Clark said his gloomy expression brightening up instantly.

"We are going in our separate cars," Stephanie announced to the disappointment of Clark who was looking forward to having a nice conversation with her on their way to the restaurant.
