"Out of the four of us, he was the most affected by the news of your disappearance. He kept on blaming himself for being responsible for your disappearance. Do you know that I even had to order my men to keep a close watch on him because I was afraid he was gonna do something stupid to himself," Gabrielle said. She had felt so terrible for Clark when she relayed the news of Stephanie's disappearance to him. Just to comfort him she had temporarily let go of her pains.

"Gab, thank you so much for watching over him," Stephanie replied. Although a thousand questions were running through Gabrielle's mind at the moment, she did not ask Stephanie questions. She knew that for Stephanie not to have mentioned the reason meant that she wasn't ready to disclose anything to anyone yet.
