Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - Overgod
"Finally"
Standing at the peak felt magnificent, yet all I could feel was a sense of loneliness. I looked around and saw countless dead bodies.
Some were glowing as they lay frozen on the ground while some rest in tranquility even if they had wounds that signified their death.
Everyone looked majestic and each and everyone of these people has a story of their own. Legends that are passed on each corner of this galaxy. Yet, they still fell from a slash of my blade, a hit of my fists, and a kick of my feet.
How long has it been since I have felt this kind of peace. Not only am I referring about the peacefulness that comes from the silence around you but also from the inside.
I walked forth below and saw some of the bodies mixed within these piles of flesh were those of my servants. Those who had fought under me against my conquest of the galaxy.
Countless memories flashed by as I gaze in each one of them and yet, I feel empty and numb. Maybe I grew indifferent at the sight of death since I have led this war for thousands of years now.
Or maybe I am just overwhelmed by my emotions due to this victory.
I walked and walked with each step giving a feeling of heaviness. I felt a sudden emotion, fear?
When have I ever felt this kind of emotion? I have walked forth bravely in each path I took and in each battle I led. And yet, right now at my moment of glory, I felt fear.
And then I saw it.
There hanged a woman with ethereal beauty, I could muster no words to describe this heavenly painting of a woman. I'm just kidding, I am not that literate enough to think of words that will fit the allure she exudes.
But as I stared at her, tears dropped from my eyes as I saw the dripping blood stemming from her body.
I haven't shed a tear even when my brother whom I greatly value was beheaded in front of me. But this woman is someone irreplaceable in my heart
Madness!
Who dared pierce her heart with the Soul vanguishing spear!
And after a minute I sighed, there was no one for me to vent this fury. For I have slaughtered each and everyone of them.
I stepped forward and gently caressed her cheeks. Her eyes were still open, staring at my direction. At the peak where I stood tall.
Wishing to stare at her eyes once again, I couldn't bear to close them with my hand. Please, let me be selfish one last time...
My Love.
With a snap, the spear that was pierced on the ground vaporized and the woman floated at the air, giving those who dare lay their eyes upon her a sense of divinity.
"Dear, I am very sorry"
I roared greatly as I held her on my arms with great care as if I was holding the most expensive porcelain glass.
"I will fulfill our promise, I will enjoy life now since I have achieved victory. But without you, I will feel very lonely. I love you so much"
I hugged her for a few minutes but for me it felt like eternity. And with great resolution, I channelled my power and incased her dead body in a small dimension. This way, no one will be able to desecrate my wife's eternal rest.
As for this heavenly world, I shall seal it into my spirit thereby making it my property.
I felt tired all of a sudden, losing my wife was the greatest blow in this life of mine. She was my pearl, my jewel and my everything. The only one who could take me on in bed and last for a day without falling unconscious. I mean, she was the only one who could give me peace as I sleep besides her.
And with a thought, I vanished and appeared at the center of this galaxy. I meditated at the spot and with this I will be able to accumulate more power while I sleep.

Little did I know that I would be sleeping for a million years and the galaxy went a great change.
As I woke up, I realized that a million years had passed and the memories of the past does not hunt me anymore.
The only thing that is deeply imbedded into my mind was the promise with her.
As I spread my sense, I felt foreign at the galaxy I once wished to attain and attained. Countless planets had appeared and shaped with innumerable inhabitants.
I was happy! Alas, my galaxy is once more populated. right now, no one should will be able to fight ownership of it with me since I have brought complete control of it. And now I could not even measure the extent of my strength. So who dare fight for supremacy with this God!?
Though, there is no point to prove my authority over this measly ants…
I guess, I'll find a backwater planet to enjoy my life to the fullest.
with a thought, I appeared on a planet, it has great fertile lands and most of its body consists of water. Its inhabitant's current technology was so-so and yet I was greatly fascinated of its scenery, giving me great nostaljia of my days when I was still traveling along with my wife.
"Mhmm, I'll settle here for the meantime"
And here starts this God's unfettered lifestyle in the worlds of mortals!
