Chapter 38: Resignation letter
Jungkook woke up and when he saw you weren't there he immediately got up from the bed and searched for you.
But he couldn't find you. he went back to his room and sat down on his bed feeling worried.
when he thought about last night and what he did to you he regretted especially when he remember the way you beg him to let you go, the way you cried asking him to stop .
he flipped his messy hair backwards and lean back on his hand against the bed.
he close his eyes tight sighing heavily but again when he thought about how you left him in the past ,and when he remembers other men touching you especially The kiss between you and Taehyung he didn't regret not knowing how hurt you were.

Jungkook arrived at the office and the first thing he did was look at your table.
Not seeing you he waited a bit sitting on your desk thinking you might have gone somewhere.
Jisoo who went to take coffee cane back and when she saw Jungkook sitting on your desk she immediately wished
"Good morning CEO "
Jungkook stood up and ask "Where is Y/n ?"
"She's not here yet maybe she's on the way " replied Jisoo and Jungkook nodded.
"Do you want anything CEO ?" ask Jisoo thinking Jungkook need something.
"No anyway inform me when she comes " said Jungkook and went to his office.
Jungkook kept looking outside at your table again and again walking here and there inside his office.
He became restless when you didn't came even after an hour passed.
When at the moment Jimin enter his office and on seeing jungkook walking restlessly he frown
"what happened? " ask Jimin sitting down on the couch.
" Nothing " said Jungkook
"You sure than why are you walking here and here " said Jimin and Jungkook shook his head whilst taking a sit.
Than someone knocked on the door
"come in " said Jungkook and Jisoo walk in.
"CEO I just called y/n and she said she's not coming to work today " said Jisoo
"Did you ask why? " ask Jungkook
"Yes she said she's not feeling well " replied Jisoo and Jungkook nodded.
But inside his heart he felt so much worried.
"You can go now " said Jungkook and and Jisoo went out.
"Oh so you were waiting for y/n arrival " ask Jimin but Jungkook did not said anything with his head down like he was thinking of something.
"What happened you're acting strange this morning? " said Jimin and Jungkook just shook his head .
Than another knock came
"Come in " said Jimin instead of Jungkook who was looking so worried.
Jisoo walk in again
"CEO I was told to give you this resignation letter " said Jisoo and Jungkook look up immediately
"Resignation letter whose?" ask Jimin
"I Don't know " said Jisoo
" you can leave " said Jungkook and opened the letter immediately and saw it was from you.
He closed his eyes tight and threw away the letter harshly on the floor and stood up.
Confused jimin stood up and pick the letter to see it was from you.
" Y/n wants to resign " said Jimin and look at Jungkook who looked angry.
" what happened? why does she wants to resign did anything happen between you guys? " ask Jimin but instead of replying Jungkook went out of office .
Jisoo immediately stood up seeing Jungkook walking out angrily.
" Inform y/n right now that I will not except her letter of resignation untill she herself comes and talk to me " said Jungkook and went back to his office.
"OK... okay CEO" said Jisoo and called your number immediately but you didn't pick up.
she tried again and again but it was in vain. you didn't pick up the call.
Jisoo was confused why you were resigning suddenly and she felt worried that something might have happen to you.
"what just happened Jungkook? " ask Jimin but Jungkook didn't reply.
"Everything was going well yesterday so in one night what could have happened to her making her to resign ?" said Jimin again
" I fought with her , I..i don't want to say anymore " said Jungkook and Jimin sigh.
" But I mean she won't just resign because of a fight, you...did you do anything to her " ask Jimin suspiciously and Jungkook look at him.
" you did wrong Jungkook, you really did the wrong thing. shouldn't you just have a proper talk with her , instead of fighting and.... Jungkook I know you're angry but you're just being selfish, can't you think of her as well" said jimin
" Selfish" snort Jungkook
" all these time we were together she could have just told me, told me the reason but what did she do she acted like I was stranger, she even kissed Taehyung , she kissed Taehyung ,dammit " said Jungkook angrily.
" and you thought what you did to her was right , Jungkook that was the worst thing you ever did, you said you love her but you ruined everything" said Jimin when he received a call .
he picked up " yes"
" Jimin, I made an appointment it's today can we meet now " said on the other end.
" okay I'll come "
" I'm going now to meet a client but you need to apologize " said Jimin and left.
