Chapter 2: Enemies meet on narrow road
After checking her condition again.Li Sha stood up and called out. An elderly man in white robe came walking forward with his head slightly bowed.
"Young miss, please instruct me" the old man in white robe said
"Elder Shen how is my grandpa doing lately?"
"Young miss the Patriarch is fine but he's urging you to return to the clan. He also said that young miss already played enough these past three years and he wish that you go up and visit him."
"I'll come back at my coming of age ceremony so please tell grandpa to wait for two more years. After that I'll inherit his position." Li Sha sighed as if it's the most difficult thing she said.
"Yes young miss, I'll go back first but please let my grandson accompany you. I know that you can protect yourself and there's probably no one who can contend with you here in the lower realm but to be safe at the least bring Li'er with you" Elder Shen said.
"Fine!" Li Sha sigh
Just then a young man about twenty years old appeared beside Elder Shen.
"This is my grandson Shen Li, I hope that young miss can tolerate my grandson being a burden." Elder Shen then bowed
"Young miss Di" Shen Li greeted
"You are to protect young miss from any harm even at the cost of your life. You know that young miss is the future Matriarch so there's absolutely nothing that can happen to her" Elder Shen reminded Shen Li sternly
"Elder Shen, Shen Li, I'm Li Sha right now just a common passerby. Don't mention my surname again or it will attract unnecessary trouble for me." Li Sha said
"Yes young miss" the grandfather and grandson answered in unison.
"Now, Elder Shen go back and please take care of grandfather and also yourself."
"Yes young miss" after reminding Shen Li again of what to do Elder Shen finally left.
"Hey Shen Li, now we can go wherever we want hahaha" Li Sha said happily.
After discussing for a bit Li Sha decide to go to Black Rock City. The journey will take about ten days so they stop over at the Imperial Capital first to buy foods, water and other necessities.
Unexpectedly after arriving at the Imperial Capital they ran into Su Ruo.
"Look at who is this" Su Ruo mock
"Slut" Li Sha whispered then walk past Su Ruo but Su Ruo grab Li Xia's hands.
"Ha! who's the bitch"
Li Sha slightly tilted her head and said in a whisper "Of course it's you"
Due to Su Ruo's loud voice there's already a crowd of people that got attracted to the commotion.
Seeing that it's two beauties they got more interested. The crowd buzz constantly praising Li Sha for having a beauty comparable to a goddess. She's like every man's white moonlight.
In the past half a year that Li Sha stayed in the capital she's holed up in the Qin Manor so not many people saw her. Now that Li Sha is walking around the face of the number one beauty naturally can't be compared to her.
Just then Su Ruo lift her hand to slap Li Sha. But Li Sha turned into a tricky angle so that the crowd won't properly see what really happen.
She then took a powder and sprinkled it on her face. After doing that Li Sha fall on the ground pitifully her face having obvious marks of Su Ruo's hands.
With Li Sha's left side of the face being red the crowd got agitated and curse Su Ruo for being vicious and merciless.
Sitting on the ground with her eyes red as if stopping the tears from falling Li Sha appeared like a helpless and vulnerable woman. It ignited the crowds passion more.
"Sister I know that you like Brother Qin so that's why you're doing this. But didn't I already give up my rights to be her wife what more do you want" Li Sha finally sobbed like she suffered so much grievances.
A young man finally can't take it anymore and step forward. He help Li Sha to stand up and place her behind his back.
"What engagement?Remember you don't have that. Brother Qin is only mine." Su Ruo shouted and rush towards Li Sha
"What are you doing?" the man ask
"None of your business, get away from that slut."
"No, I won't let you hurt her anymore you vicious woman" then he fling Su Ruo away.
The crowd scolded Su Ruo so loud that she had no choice but to turn away and leave.

This is how Qin Hai and Li Sha met.....
About half a year ago Li Sha got injured while surveying a new realm. She then got teleported to a mountain range which is close to the capital. Qin Hai accidentally found Li Sha and help her. Li Sha wanted to repay the debt so she come over to the Qin Manor secretly helping them a few times or else the family will long be wiped out.
After helping them Qin Hai's greed grew so much that he even wants to usurp the throne. The Qin family is an official family.But Qin Hai didn't want to be just an official so he secretly set traps for the second and fifth prince. But when his plot almost succeded Li Sha interrupted it. The plan failed for an unknown reason so he blamed all gis badluck on Li Sha. When the truth is if she didn't stop the plan the whole Qin family will be executed.
Then the scene in the previous chapter happened...
