HAZEL'S POV
Nakasuot na ako ng wedding gown. Nakaayos na lahat. Tatawagin na lang ako kasi nandito na kami sa isang part ng simbahan kasama ko sila Mommy at Daddy. Kaso ayun nga kinakabahan ako.
"Anak, Relax," sabi ni Mommy.
"I know," sabi ko habang kinakalma ang sarili ko.
"Kapag hindi ka kumalma. Hihimatayin ka niyan. Sige ka," sabi ni Daddy.
"Daddy naman eh," sabi ko. Tumawa lang siya.
Maya-maya ay lumapit na ang wedding organizer kaya pumunta kami sa harap ng simbahan. Hinawakan na ako nila Mommy at Daddy sa magkabilang braso ko.
Nang bumukas na ang malaking pinto ng simbahan ay nag-simula na kaming magkalad nila Mommy.
Sa dinami dami naming pinagdaanan at sa dami ng sakit na naramdaman ko, hindi ko inaasahang dito pa rin ang bagsak namin sa simbahan.

Kahit na hindi natin nakikita. Kahit madalas tinatanggi natin ang isang bagay. Sooner or later malalaman din natin ang totoo.

Ilang beses pa na nagpretend kami ni Jerome na mag kaibigan lang kami. Ilang beses na hindi niya pinansin na may nararamdaman siya sakin at ako...
Ilang beses ko na bang tinago ang nararamdaman ko?
Ang akala ko ay hanggang tingin at asa lang ako sa kanya, pero akala lang pala yun. Akala ko ay hindi niya na kayang mahalin.
But right now this is our wedding... Today.

Hindi man maging perpekto ang relasyon namin ay sisiguraduhin kong lagi kaming magmamahalan. Ibibigay ko sa kanya ang lahat ng pagmamahal ko. Alam kong hindi ang pagkakagalit, pero sisiguraduhin kong hindi ito magiging malala at aayusin namin agad ni Jerome. Sana kasing tibay nang lubid ang pagmamahalan namin o mas mahigit pa ang tibay doon.

Nang makarating na kami kay Jerome.
"Take care of our daughter," sabi ni Daddy at iniabot na ang kamay ko kay Jerome.
"Yes po, Tito," sabi ni Jerome at hinawakan na niya ang kamay ko.
"Don't call me tito, simula sa araw na to anak ka na din namin, kaya Daddy na ang itawag mo sa akin," sabi ni Daddy.
"Yes po, Mom and Dad," nakangiting sabi ni Jerome. Ngumiti lang si Mommy sa kanya at tumango.
"Dear family and friends, with great affection for Ma Hazel Candelaria and Jerome Calliego we have gathered together to witness and bless their union in marriage. To his sacred moment they bring the fullness of their hearts as a treasure and a gift from God to share with one another. They bring the dreams which bind the together in an eternal commitment. They bring their gifts and talents, their unique personalities and spirits, which God will unite together into one being as they build their life together. We rejoice with them in thankfulness to the Lord for creating this union of hearts, built on friendship, respect and love."
Pagkatapos umupo ng congregation.
Nagstart na yung giving away the bride.
"Who presents this woman and this man to be married to each other?"
Nag-I Do yung parents ko at ang Mommy ni Jerome.
Narinig pa namin yung pahabol ni Kath.
"Dapat lang! Ibigay na ang bride sa groom! Wooo!" sigaw ni Kath.
Napapailing na lang kami kay Kath...
Sa lahat ata Maliban samin ni Jerome siya na ang pinaka-excited.
"Mukang gusto ka na talagang ipamigay ni Kath," bulong sakin ni Jerome.
"About time na rin na kunin mo ko."
Nginitian niya ako. Nakinig na ulit kami sa pari.
"Let me charge you both to remember, that your future happiness is to be found in mutual consideration, patience, kindness, confidence, and affection. Jerome Calliego, it is your duty to love Ma Hazel Candelaria as yourself provide tender leadership, ang protect her from dander. Ma Hazel Candelaria, it is your duty to treat Jerome Calliego with respect, support him, and create a healthy, happy home. It is duty of each of you to find the greatest joy in the company of the others: to remember that in both interest an affection, you are to be one and undivided."
Pagkatapos non... Nag start ang pledging.
"Jerome Calliego, do you take Ma Hazel Candelaria to be your wedded wife, and in the presence of these witnesses do you vow that you will do everything in your power to make your love for her a growing part of your life? Will you continue to strengthen it form day to day and week to week with your best resources? Will you stand by her in sickness or in health, in poverty or in wealth, and you shun all others and keep yourself to her alone as long as you both shall live?"
"I Do," nakangiting sabi ni Jerome.
I can see na pareho na kaming teary eyed. This is it!
"Ma Hazel Candelaria, do you take Jerome Calliego to be your wedded husband , and in the presence of these witnesses do you vow that you will do everything in your power to make your love for him a growing part of your life? Will you continue to strengthen it form day to day and week to week with your best resources? Will you stand by him in sickness or in health, in poverty or in wealth, and you shun all others and keep yourself to him alone as long as you both shall live?"
Ang dami kong gustong sabihin pero kahit simpleng I do lang naman ang kailangan.
MY DREAM COME TRUE.
"Hazel?" tawag ni Jerome. Mukang natakot siya ng hindi ako sumagot agad. Ngumiti ako.
"I do, I do, I do, I DO!" sigaw na sabi ko. Nagpalakpakan yung mga tao. Haiyyy!
Time for the vows!
"Ma Hazel Candelaria, you're been my friend, kaasaran, kapikunan, kafood trip and also. You're the woman that I love and the only woman I will love from this day forth. I know I've been the reason of your cries before, I know you've been through a lot of pain. I can never promise that you won't cry again because of me. But always remember how much I love you and I will always will. I will never ever intentionally hurt you. Because your pain will always be my pain. I can bear to lose you. Because if I did. My world will became a stranger. Because you're the only one who looks me in this world.
Kung may humadlang man sa atin, hindi ako sumuko, dahil alam kong tayong dalawa'y para sa isa't isa. At pinapangako ko na sa bawa't paggising mo, hanggang sa pagtulog mo, hahawakan ko mga kamay mo, yayakapin ko ang puso mo. At simula sa araw na ito, ipinapangako ko sayo na sa lahat ng mangyayari sa buhay mo na kasama ako, sisiguraduhin ko, 'yon ang mga pinakamagagandang pangyayari sa buhay nating dalawa.
I love you Ma Hazel Candelaria, you are now the reason of my every smile and my every laugh. I know now that I will gladly walk down the future because I know you'll be beside me. So now... Take my hand and let's start building a happy future.

Hindi na ata tumgil yung pag-iyak ko.

"Jerome Calliego, I love you since the first time I saw you. But because of the circumstances, I have to hide my feelings ang just love you from afar. Yes, it did hurt... But I never regret loving you. Because besides the pain, you also makes me happy.
I've been your friend for a long time, lagi kitang inaasar, inaway, binabasa, pero all those things. I only did for you to see me, not as friend, but as a woman.
Mas marami pang oras at araw kitang makakasama. At sa totoo lang, wala na talaga akong mahihiling pa. Asahan mo, na ipaglalaban ko ang pagmamahal ko para sayo. We both have tears in our eyes.
Kahit yung mga bisita naiiyak na din.
Finally. Binigay na rin samin yung mga singsing namin. Sinuot namin yun sa isa't-isa with a smile on our lips.
"Now that Jerome Calliego and Ma Hazel Candelaria have desired each other in marriage, and have witnessed this before God and our gathering, affirming their acceptance of the responsibilities of such union, abd have pledged their love and faith to each other, sealing theirs vows in the giving and receiving of rings, I do proclaim that they are husband and wife in the sight of God and man. Let all people here and everywhere recognize and respect this holy union, now and forever... Jerome Calliego... You may now kiss the bride."
He bend down ang kiss me. With so much passion at emotion.
I can hear the people saying "Awwww"
"It is now my privilage to indroduce to you for the first time, Mr and Mrs Calliego."
Nagpalakpakan sila.
Finally! I'm Mrs Jerome Calliego.
This is the most special day in my life.
Sisiguraduhin namin ni Jerome, na parati kaming magiging masaya at walang makakahadlang sa pagmamahalan namin. Dahil ang pagmamahalan namin ay pang habang buhay, tumanda man kami ay hindi ng hindi kami magbabago.
"Naman eh! Kakaiyak!" sabi ni Kath.
Nagsang-ayunan naman yung ibang bisita.
Lumapit kami ni Jerome sa pari at nag pa salamat. Naglakad na kami pababa ng altar at nagpicturan.
Kami ni Jerome, ang nakatadhana para sa isa't isa. Itaga niyo yan sa bato!
Nang matapos na kami sa picturan ay naglakad na kami palabas ng simbahan
"Hon," tawag ni Jerome kaya Napalingon ako sa kanya.
"Hmmm?"
"Diretso na tayo sa bahay at gumawa ng baby," nakangiting sabi niya. Nanlaki naman yung mga mata ko at pinalo siya sa balikat.
"Aray," reklamo niya.
"Siraulo ka ba, Calliego. Reception muna, mamaya pa yun," sabi ko at naggiwas ng tingin dahil namumula na yung mukha ko dahil sa sinabi niya. My god! Bakit ganito yung asawa ko. Nakakaloka.
"Sige reception muna. Basta hindi tayo lalabas ng kwarto hanggat hindi tayo nakakagawa ng twin," sabi niya at binigyan ako ng nakakalokong ngiti.
Twin? Iniisip ko pa lang parang ang hirap. Mukhang hindi ako titigilan nito kapag hindi yun nangyari yung gusto niya.
Haiyy! Bahala na nga. Sumakay na kaming dalawa ni Jerome sa kotse ng sinakyan ko kanina at pumunta na kami sa reception.
