Chapter 161: An Unbending King

"What exactly has he been doing since I've been gone?" Will looked at the same streets he had seen two months ago. There were still signs that the underground fighting ring had stayed open. The caged in area seemed to be more bloody than it had been before. The streets themselves seemed quieter than he remembered. The Crimson Knights patrolled every street he looked past.

"It takes a little more time to change things when they have been the same for generations." Leo tried to protest, yet Will could see that in his friend's eyes, he agreed with him.

"Mmmhmm." Will mumbled as he walked through the double gated entrance to the courtyard. Though he was still in his white shirt and blue jeans, one of the guards still hopped to attention while the other opened the door.

"Good afternoon, my Prince!" The guard who opened the door sounded out for the whole castle to hear.
