Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Taehyung

I have to admit the rooms are really nice and so are a lot of the kids here. I wish I had a room with my friends though. That part sucks and it's stuiped. My school doesn't have different "houses" we get to choose who we want to share a room with. It's better that way too, at least I could be with my friends.

"Whatcha writing about?" I heard someone say behind me. I jumped a little and quickly put my dairy away in my coat pocket.

"Nothing" I quickly said, looking up at the one who startled me. I never let anyone see what's inside my diary. Mainly for their sake. I draw and write stuff about others that I don't like very much and sometimes I draw stuff from my dreams, which can get a bit weird. I had this book for a while now and not once had anyone ever seen it, not even my friends. I was only writing in it because I thought everyone was asleep. I mean it's 9:30pm the last time I checked.

"Well it doesn't look like nothing." he said sitting beside me. I felt my bed dip down where he sat. The kid had really dark brown hair and weird glasses. He also had a scar on his forehead. I looked away from him so I wouldn't get caught staring. It was an awkward silence until I tried to break it.

"How did you get that scar?" I asked the only thing that seemed to interest me about him. He sighed and didn't say anything for a moment. Then his head quickly turned my way.

"Wait, do you know me?" he suddenly asked. I gave him a puzzling look. I mean I didn't really. I think his name is Harry, or, was it Ron? I didn't really care to learn their names when we met.

"No, not really, why?" I asked hesitant and clearly still confused. He seemed happy with my answer.

"Why are you up so late? People normally go to bed around 9 and it's 10:20 right now." he said leaning back on his arms. I didn't answer him. Instead I got up and walked down into the lobby thing. I could tell he was following me. He wasn't the quietest person here, by far. Once I got to the lobby I sat down on one of the chairs and took out my diary making sure he doesn't read or see anything.

"Whatcha writing?" he said in a taunting tone. He was right behind me leaning against the chair. I quickly closed my book and hid it in my coat.

"Oh come on dude, I already saw the book. Just tell me what you're writing about."

"It's nothing you need to know so shut up!" I snapped getting up but, having nowhere to go I sighed and sat back down, Gazing at the fire which turned on when we walked into the lobby.

"So" he said sitting on the chair beside me. He was looking at me like he could see through me "your writing in your diary?" I looked up at him and glared. I knew it was a dairy. I always called it that but hearing someone else say it kind of made me feel like a child.

"Yes I am now if you wouldn't mind please leave. I'm in no mood to talk to you." I say still glaring at him trying to make a point, but he just chuckled.

"You are nice to your friends but mean to anyone who tries to talk with you? If I didn't know any better I'll think that you really hate this school." he teased, I scoffed. I wasn't mean to anyone, I just didn't feel like making new friends. There was no point I would leave this school in a year or two and never come back. Sure I had to push people away and some might call it mean or rude but I didn't, that or I didn't care that much if I hurt someone, mentaly of course I would never actually hurt someone physically I wasn't that kind of person.

"If you would leave me alone then maybe I wouldn't be so mean to you." I said as coldly as I could. It was quiet for a few minutes I thought he would leave thinking it was probably best if he did until he spoke.

"What's your favorite subject?" he asked plainly, catching me off guard.

"What?"

"What's your favorite subject?" he repeated this time looking at me, serious. No one has ever really asked me that. It wasn't really the go to question someone asked when they're being told to leave. It made me think. I never really cared for school, any school. I didn't care about my grades or about what I was learning.that doesn't mean I don't have good grades I always do, I just don't try to get them, I've never had too. I would pay attention and study for an hour a day but I just didn't worry about the grades. About learning. Now that I think of it I did care for one subject though, poshions.

"Poshions." I say as if my brain took control of my mouth but I didn't mind. The guy next to me smiled; a big happy smile like me responding to his question was the happiest moment of his life, and judging by his messy hair and clothes, it probably was.

"I like poshions too!" he cheered. I couldn't help but smile a little bit. "What about your favorite creature?" he asked. This time I didn't have to think I quickly spat out

"Sentaur by far!" I say his eyes grew wide.

"Really? We have some in the forbidden forest!" he said I felt excited, I never really got to see a centaur in real life but we learned about them in magical creatures class. I didn't know what I liked about them, maybe it was the half human half horse body or the way they never gave a direct answer, or maybe they loved the planets and stars just as much as I do. "I could show you them tomorrow after our classes?" he suggested. I gave him a weird look.

"Didn't you say the FORBIDDEN forest? Isn't it forbidden to go in the forest?" I asked. Now I just think he wants to get me in trouble. He laughed.

"No one has to know and I have a friend who knows the forest pretty well, he can show us them." I looked at him, his eyes were so chocolatey I didn't notice before.

"Your name's Harry right?" I asked looking away he hummed in response.

"Yes, your name is Taehung?" I laughed as he tried to pronounce my name.

"Just call me Tae." I said smiling. "Anyway I'm tired so I'm going to bed goodnight Harry." I smiled as I got up and walked away. He smiled back and said goodnight but stayed in the lobby.
