Chapter 8: Phony
*1 week later*
Blade was outside practicing with Chicago while Maria was at work and her siblings were at school. Blade had a free period so she decided to go home with Chicago to practice on their cheer routine. " Try a double layout and land in a split," Chicago said. Blade did exactly what she said and landed perfectly. Chicago did it with her and they practiced for a whole hour but they had to get back to school.
*Back at school*
"Come over later," a girl said while rubbing on Kevin's chest
"I can't, I got a date with Blade," Kevin said
The girl looked mad so she turned her head and started to walk off until Kevin grabbed her and kissed her.
Chicago and Blade were walking back into the school but Blade went straight to the bathroom. Chicago was walking to lunch until she saw her brother kissing a random girl that wasn't Blade. She stood there in shock but Blade ran up to catch up to Chicago and she saw them kissing. Once Blade saw Kevin kissing another girl all she saw was red. She dropped her stuff and ran to the girl. Blade started punching her and dragging her across the floor not even giving the girl a chance to get up and hit back. Chicago grabbed the girl and Kevin grabbed Blade. Blade was still holding onto the girl's hair but she eventually let go when she saw she had a clump of the girl's hair in her hand. Everybody was standing around watching with their phone recording but some of them helped break the fight up. Blade calmed down for 5 seconds and started attacking Kevin. Chicago put the girl down and ran up to Blade and immediately started hitting her. The girl jumped in and started hitting Blade too so they jumped Blade. Some of the guys broke it up but Blade wanted more. "Fake ass bitches" Blade screamed while getting pulled away
"Don't u ever touch my brother bitch" Chicago yelled.
Kevin was trying to calm Chicago down. Everybody went to class even Kev and Chicago. The girl Kev was kissing was in the nurse's office but no one knew where Blade was. She had every class with Kev and Chicago but they didn't see her in any classes. By the 7th period, everybody was ready to go home, Kev and Chicago were in the car in silence. When they got home they both went to their room without talking to each other. Kev tried calling Blade to apologize and so did Chicago but she answered neither of them. After calling for 3 hours straight they decided to stop and go to sleep.
