I was woken up my alarm it was currently 7:00am . I got up from bed and got ready .
I opened my door and saw Jake walking past.
Jake.... Jake is complicated you see our mums have been best friends since our birth so we grew up together and eventually became bestfriends and i started crushing on him... ALOT. everything was good until we started high school he quickly became very distant and rude ,he acted like he didn't know me and was rude to me . i don't know what i've done to this boy . He slowly became well know as the "Fuckboy"
I dealt with my feelings by ignoring him and constantly being rude to him . don't get me wrong i've tried obviously i have. thats my best friend .
i was just as confused as you are . It felt like i lost my best friend in a second and it was all my fault ? who would've thought after growing up together we would end up hating each others guts.
I walked to school and saw my friend Sabrina .
Sabrina: Heyy girll
Y/n:Heyy
Sabrina: can we get mcdonald's today?
Y/n: already thinking about food? with your fat ass.
Sabrina: hahaha she said sarcastically
As we were walking i bump into some ones chest
Y/n: Ah shit sorry
i look up and saw Jake great.

he rolls his eyes and walked away

Sabrina: i swear one day he is gonna get stds .

Sabrina clapped and said "FR!" causing everyone in the hallway to look at us laughing with a calculator in my hands
we walked into our different classrooms and said bye .

I was sitting down doing my work with my headphones in until i heard the teacher shouting
teacher: this is the 3rd time you've been late this week for my class!

teacher: what have you been doing thats so much better then getting your education!

The class laughed while i rolled my eyes.

He sat down in front of me and i put my headphones back in but i could hear the boy next to me talking to Jake .

This is exactly what me and Jake do. argue and insult each other .
I know you think im mean but trust me i've tried everything... i tried writing him a text , letter ,talking , even baked him his favourite cookies i even sent him a gift basket but nothing happened. there was nothing i could do so i went with it and i started to hate him .

Me and Sabrina went to Mcdonald's and ordered our food .
Sabrina: oh i found out there is gonna be a new guy tomorrow

Sabrina: hold On.
Y/n: we need to pray .

Y/n: well i got Jake in my maths class
Sabrina: you know i hate him but i don't understand why he turned against you like?

It was about 4pm i got out of bed and headed down to this little vintage restaurant i found a couple of days ago . i decided to try everything on the menu .

I walked over to the counter and the waiter immediately ran over to me.
waiter: her Y/n what are you trying today ?
Y/n: hmm i'll be trying the Oreo milkshake and can i have my usual order for food please?
Waiter: of course be right back!
took out my phone and started scrolling through instagram until someone kicked the back of my leg.
Y/n: ouch what is wrong with everyone?
Jake: what?
Y/n: wow out of all the people ?
Jake: chill i just came to order for me and hmmm emmm whatever her name is.
Y/n: wait didn't you have a girlfrie-
Jake: what are you doing here then?
Y/n: umm i'm trying every drink on the menu
Jake: what? weirdo
Y/n: why are you talking to me ?
Jake: trynna be nice
Y/n: nice?? please take your shity niceness and leave . The door.
Jake: can you like fuck off ? give me a break jesus. whats your problem?
Y/n: problem? mY pRoblem! are u Serious!
Waiter : Y/n: are you ok this gentleman seems to be making you upset?
Y/n: i'm fine thanks .
He handed me the food in the box and i thanked him while Jake was just staring at us the whole time.
Y/n: anyway got to go i'll see you tomorrow or whenever i'm hungry
Waiter: ofc! bye
i left without taking another look at Jake and went straight home.
Jakes POV
I thought it was cute how shes trying everything on the menu but i couldn't say that i just smiled to myself thinking about it .
i stared at her talking to the waiter . admiring her features. and her outfit .
It made me think of the times when we used to be little and eat McDonald's and have sleepovers. She would fight me over chicken nuggets
i do miss her. alot . sometimes i think i made her hate me and sometimes i want to talk to her so much with out her being mad at me . but i couldn't let my feelings for Y/n get over me . I felt like she didn't like me .. so i distanced myself and
got over her.
She left without taking another look at me and hummed a song while walking past me happily her fragrance filled up my nose and i just looked back at her walking away .
