Chapter 2: She Liked Spicy Food
Nathan looked out the window with dark eyes. His aura even became dark as he sat through the car ride quietly. His silent glaring eyes scared both Assistant Kai and the driver silly. They felt cold sweat on their backs as they tried to make their presence little as possible.
Kai looked behind before whispering something to the driver, "It seems that boss is unwilling to go on the blind date."
The driver nodded in agreement, "I think someone's gonna die. Boss looks like he will kill anyone at this moment." He whispered as he looked back through the mirror.
Assistant Kai and the driver sat on eggs shells waiting for their Boss to stop his dangerous aura in the backseat.
They were pitying the Boss's date since she would be the one to face his wrath.
'Poor woman. She probably end up crying by the end of this meeting' they silently shook their heads.
Nathan who was oblivious to their thoughts, was currently thinking about what his wife like when they got married. He remembered that she loved spicy food but he wasn't sure which type it was. But he did remember she like Hakka Style food.
'I should order that along with some others she liked.' He thought seriously.
He pulled out his phone and turned on the camera so he could see his face. He looked at his face and couldn't help but admire himself.
'You still look good as you did Nathan.' Thank god his face looked as mesmerizing as ever.
He patted it lightly, 'Today I'm gonna use you as my advantage. Don't let me down!'
His actions bewildered the two men in the car. They felt their jaws drop and looked at Nathan as if he was a new species found on earth.
Screech!!
The driver almost crashed the car into another. His quick reflexes saved them all and Nathan glared at him.
"Can't you drive? Do you want me to instead teach you how to?" Nathan asked coldly.
The driver shuddered and shed invisible tears hearing his boss. 'Boss if you don't act strangely do you think I would do this? Ah! The injustice!!'
"Hurry up! I have to reach the date before 7!" Nathan said shocking both of them. He had an eager expression making them think they saw wrong.
'Boss were you accidentally switched out?' Kai almost asked but bit his tongue.
They all headed into a famous restaurant call Golden Style. This was where he and his wife had their first meeting.
Nathan wanted to laughs all of a sudden. He remembered that his wife came into the restaurant walking in with jeans and a crop top along with a bomber jack. In the last life he expected that she would wear a dress or something formal but she wore this. She looked very stunning but the restaurant was a high class one. Yet his wife made it look like a common street restaurant where you could walk wearing whatever you want.
It was on purpose and he knew it worked since that day he stormed out calling her a unkept woman for where such clothes at an expensive restaurant.
'I've hurt her so much in the past... I really was such a bad guy to her...'
But today he decided to do the same and wear casual clothes that some how "matched" what she might wear. He wore black jeans and a grey turtleneck pairing it with a black blazer. He could already feel his assistant gaze as he walked out if his house like this.
Nathan was just glad he didn't ask.
He stepped out of his car and headed into the restaurant. He also remembered that his wife made him wait and extra hour before showing up here.
He will use this time as an advantage. He was nervous and a bit scared to see his wife again. Nathan never felt like this and when he finally found out his feeling for her it was too late.
She left him with a divorce and they finally met was when she was lying on the hospital bed like she was asleep, but she was gone.
Nathan shook his head to get rid of his bad memories just remembering her death and the cause of it flared his anger and wrath for the people who caused it. He clenched his fist tightly.
'I'll use this life to protect her forever. No matter what I won't lose you a second time.'
It was an hour later that he finally saw the woman he was waiting for. His wife. His love. His life.
Katelyn Evertine the only woman in his life.
He elegantly sat on the chair like a king and his handsomeness was certainly the cause of many hearts being stolen. But his heart only beat for one person. And that was his wife.
Katelyn came waking in with exactly the same clothes as his remember. She walked towards him and he couldn't help but find his world slowing down as he watch this beautiful woman.
She had long brown hair that was tied up into a ponytail. Her beautiful face was shown he couldn't help but look towards her red lips. Her crop top hugged her body showcasing her chest. While her jeans highlight the beautiful curves that she had. She was simply stunning before him.
He eyes glistened with desire which made him think about naughty things they did before.
'She was simply a goddess on bed.' He licked his lips remembering their most intimate moments.
He snapped his thoughts back to reality. He saw his wife come close to his table and he got up to greet her.
"Are you Ms. Evertine?" He asked in his most gentle tone catching his wife off guard. Since they met for the first time it was only the right thing to pretend he didn't know her.
'Don't worry, once you know me it'll only get better.'
He she her eyes widened by his unbelievable gentle tone. He almost smiled because of that.
'Looks like she was surprised' he felt a sort of accomplishment seeing her blushing face as she looked at him.
Katelyn thought that the man would be mad seeing her come late but instead he greeted her kindly in such a seductive tone. She felt like blushing hearing his tone but she tried very hard to keep her composure. Still her face did become a bit red.
"Y-yes. And your Mr. Kingston right?" She asked in a hesitant tone.
'OMG! He looks so good with casual clothes. But I thought for sure he was going to wear a suit...' she felt like drooling over him. And her lustful thoughts were leaking out.
Nathan was a very handsome man. He was 6'2 inches tall with a very sturdy body. His turtleneck was doing his body some justice since she could almost see the 6 pack down there. It's was so freaking hot!! But the face and hair were like a triple kill to his over all outfit, it wasn't he neat and sleek style instead his hair was a bit messy.
Katelyn felt like she was in heaven until her thoughts were snapped back by the man.
"Come sit. Let eat together." Nathan saw her lustful eyes and smiled.
'Oh shit he smiled...' she once again fell into a daze.
'His wife couldn't really hide her desire at all! He almost wanted to drag her away and- Nathan for gods sake get your head back!!!' He brushed off his thoughts and focused on his pretty wife.
But it seems that smile did a KO to her since she looked like she was in a daze. He called to her once again snapping her back and she sat down in front of him while he sat opposite of her.
The first date had officially begun!
