Chapter 1: Prologue
"Run as fast as you can!"
"B-But Linda, I cannot leave you like this!"
"Just go! Take Nile with you and evacuate to the southern area!"
With a slight hesitation, Uncle Martin was left with no choice but to depart and escape alongside with his nephew, Nile.
"Water Magic Skill: Aquatic barrier!" Linda casted a wide magic barrier within the area to negate attacks from the enemies. She hurriedly ran across the ground to catch up with her brother Martin.
"Linda!" Uncle Martin shouted. As soon as she got close with them, she grabbed baby Nile's hand. baby Nile were crying really hard and the situation are getting worst as time pass by.
"Here... Take this, shh... shh... don't cry, don't cry. Everything will be okay my cutie little Nile..." Linda's soft words managed to calm the crying Nile. She grabbed something from her pocket. It was one of the Elemental Rings.
"Linda, that is..." Uncle Martin were shocked by what he saw.
"Yeah, this is one of the most powerful elemental rings that I have managed to acquire from our clan. I will give this to Nile to serve as a charm." Linda started putting the ring on baby Nile's little finger and it looks like the baby is happy with it.
She then started to gaze upward and talked to her brother.
"Listen here Martin, I have no choice but to fight King Yama to protect this place. We have no time left, I want you to take care of my son. Raise him and protect him from bad guys. Because I know that one day, he is destined... to destroy King Yama and put an end to this war. So please, Martin, go! Go now!" Linda shouted really hard.
Uncle Martin nodded and began running while dodging the spells. He started casting an invisible barrier to protect him and baby Nile from these dangerous attacks from King Yama's servants.
Verdana, one of the most richest division in the land of Raiaterra, were invaded by King Yama. After he got himself freed from his own seal 700 years ago, he gained his power and decided to rule the world once again starting from attacking this place.
The villages were destroyed upon launching a deadly explosion attack from one of his subordinates. Some of them are fire elemental user while most of them are using gears and weapons to kill people and kidnap childrens. They were causing another havoc in order to threaten the 12 Zodiac Clans and to let them know that he is coming back to finish what he started.
Linda, Nile's mother were one of the top 10 strongest Elemental mages in the entire land of Raiaterra. She was known as by the nickname of "Queen of Aqua" because of her incredible Hydrokinesis power and strong manipulation of water.
She is currently leading Verdana and the town people were really happy with it. Ever since she ruled this land, she gave them a massive impact that made their life peaceful and incomes were increasing everyday that made this division rich.
A massive explosion emitted from the ground as soon as Martin and nile left Linda all by herself. The guards were annihilated by Yama's strong servants and Linda was the only one left.
"Water Skill Magic: Aetherius sword!" An aquatic sword appeared in Linda's hand. She then began to emit a strong water Aura around herself that made the ground trembled.
She slashed and killed 3 enemies from the other side of the villages and saved a lot of people from the dark mages in the sky. They are now beginning to see the real power of the Queen of Aqua.
"This is really bad, I cannot protect all of them. At this point, I will run out of magic before I face Yama myself." Linda said to herself while gazing from the sky. She began to kill more enemies that were kidnapping children and made the fire that were scorching disappeared from the site. It was an incredible performance of Hydrokinesis.
Clap, clap, clap.
The sound of dissonant clapping shook the village. Linda made a frown and shifted her gaze to the sound of it.
"Yama!" She shouted.
"Oh, look who we found here? As expected from one of the most strongest elemental mages in the world. You singlehandedly destroyed my entire forces all while saving innocent people. That's actually really fantastic!" He said.
"You know, I can spare you and this land if you do me one favor..." A continued speech. Linda were irritated by his tone.
"Become my servant and I will give you a chance to live with this land." Yama's bargaining made Linda frustrated as she started releasing an enormous water slash that scratched Yama's cheek.
"Oh... That hurts a lot..." Yama's tone became deep.
"I will never submit to you! I swore to protect this division and save the people here, I won't let you take this land while I'm still here!" She instantly said.
"Well then, you made the wrong choice." After hearing Yama's words, he instantly blinked through Linda's back and shot her with a dark magic element.
"Argh!" Linda suffered a severe damage from her back after she hit the stone.
"Water Skill Magic: Undine's Spirit!" Linda casted her strongest spell. An enormous aura made out of Mana trembled the land even more. She gained boost on her own elemental magic while she transformed into something even more.
Yama were having trouble negating this effect and he gave a questionable look as he scorned.
Impossible, how can she use this power?
Yama's thought were lost in the process. Linda's eyes were full of hatred, a glazing water lighting emitting from it made Yama step back.
"You're using Undine's power! That's impossible, how can you use a spirit's power?" Yama said.
"I don't answer questions from people like you..." Linda said. She then began to shoot Yama with her powerful water spell.
"Urgh!" a direct hit to Yama.
"This is really interesting! Shadow Skill Magic: Dark ascend!" Yama released his power. However, using one of the elemental rings, he instantly gained a boost that were pairing with Linda's enormous power.
"Now then, show me what you got!" Yama's taunt.
"Water Skill Magic: Aqua blast!" A large wave of power were emitting from Linda's hands.
"Shadow Skill Magic: The Dagon's Death" A wave of power were emitting from Yama's hands as well.
Both of them were charging their spell as the whole land break apart from their enormous aura and skills.
Meanwhile, evacuating to South. Uncle Martin and baby Nile managed to flee away from trouble. Martin were looking behind to see what is happening on Verdana.
As soon as they reached the gate, a massive white explosion occured within the area. It was so powerful that it made the evacuees tremble in fear.
"Linda!" Martin shouted, he was worried that something might have happened with Linda.
Soon after that, a dissonance illuminated the whole area. The land was quiet and people have managed to escape from the danger.
"Sorry about that, Queen of Aqua..."
Linda drew blood as she fall into her knees. Yama walked quietly until it reaches her.
"You should have agreed to come with me..." Yama's tone deeply impacted her thoughts.
"Shadow Skill Magic: Death Star" a massive black hole appeared near Linda's body and she was decapitated by it, leaving with no trace of her.
I'm sorry... Nile...
Linda perished. The division of Verdana were successfully invaded by King Yama, the leader of Ophiuchus Clan.
"Hahaha! Hahaha! HAHAHA!" An evil laugh were heard and thus the division are now taken.
