Chapter 395: MEETING OF THE LEADERS

The meeting hall was deathly silent. The Drakkon Emperor was holding a silver chalice in his hand. He took a sip of the water in the chalice. The sleeves of his red robes were tucked neatly underneath his forearms, and the swish of them, as he took a sip of his water, was the only sound in the silent room. 

The other leaders felt like they were seated on pins and needles. It was no secret that the Drakkon Emperor had a soft spot for Headmaster Arkien. In addition to that, the Sylph Dowager was also on his side. No matter what he did, the sylph dowager was always going to be on his side. 

This favoritism was highlighted even more with the way they refused to hear anything about removing Arkien from the position of Headmaster.
