Chapter 2: Adopted
Earth-
A few feathers falls around an old dilapidated mansion, and a sound of baby crying can be heard from the inside. The people passed by in front of it seems startled and scared, and they jog quickly to pass by it as soon as possible.
The mansion is widely famous of its haunting stories and those unexplained accident whenever people came inside of it. It said that the mansion never let ill intention people unscathed, those that tried to bring out any items from the inside will be cursed, and always ends up injured.
When it happen that often, all the people become fearful toward the mansion, even now despite them hearing the crying of a baby, none dared to go inside to check. Up until a pair of couple pass by. They stop walking when they heard, and together they go inside.
The woman have a medium orange short haired hair, her blue eyes sparkled with spirit, on her head a pair of soft white cat ear twitched once awhile, and her tail swung slowly behind her. When she smile, she omitted a strong friendly presence, making people subconsciously behave nicely toward her. She wore a white one piece dress, and matched with a pink ribbon and a pair of pink shoe. This woman is a mage, born from the anima dynasty. Thought the most important thing is that she is the eldest daughter of the anima dynasty royalty.
Meanwhile her partner, the man is a tall and handsome young man of the human kingdom royalty, the empire. His purple hair is neatly combed, and his purple eye looked calm and wise. He wore a black top hat with purple flowers arranged on them, while his clothes consist of a long black coat with a purple autumn leave as its pattern on the bottom of his coat. In his hand, there is a carved black suitcase and a pair of black winged creature, appearance similar to a rabbit, are flying around him.
The two walked deeper and deeper into the mansion, passing by its living room, gardens, kitchen, halls and finally found the stairs which are leading to the next level. So they climbed it, and in the room in the middle, the baby's crying has become louder and louder. They enter the room and saw a baby on the bed.
The woman went forward and picked the baby up, her eyes seems sad, seeing that this baby seems to be abandoned here. The man patted the woman shoulder, "Should we take him to the orphanage? Or-"
The woman huffed her cheek when she heard him, "I'd like to adopt him! Orphanage is no good!" she sounded rather sulky.
"Mhm, alright then" The man smiled and looked at the baby, "Little one, we are now family." He said with a chuckle and poked the baby cheek, making the baby stop crying and look at him curiously instead. "Oh, he looks intelligent" The man smiled.
"Lets go home, I'm sure our parents will be happy when they meet him." The woman kissed the baby cheek. With that, the two of them, along with the baby they are carrying, left the mansion with smiles. The baby looked around curiously as they went back.

The house the two are living are in a big castle on a hill. They rode a car driven by a servant, since it will take too much time to arrive by foot instead, and the two pair is way too impatient to reach back home as soon as possible.
When they enter the castle gate, the male servants all lined up on the left and right side of the pathway, with a happy smile they welcome back their master and lady of the house. The head servant of the house, an old man with a white haired hair and beard,waited at the door, with some drinks for their master and lady. He welcome them back with a bow, and together with them he enter the castle.
"Sain, is there a guest? I see that everyone seems really worked out" The man asked while he raise his eyebrow for a bit.
"Master Fuz, the king and queen of lady Lyla is currently waiting at the hall. They were having a chat with our Lord and our his wife." The head servant said calmly as he informed them.
"Oh? Mother and Father is here? Thats great" The woman smiled, it make this easier to tell them about this little one in one go then, no need to waste time or worry again when to tell them. "Fuz, we should go there soon then!"
"Yes we will dear, but" Fuz pointed at her and his clothes before he continues, "we need to go change for a proper and clean clothes. No need to rush, okay dear" He kissed her cheek, and Lyla flushed and pouted a bit while mumbling an unsatisfied "Alright".

Arriving at the main hall door, lead by the head servant, is Fuz in a black European formal clothes, while Lyla wore a long peach colored dress decorated with lace of the same color. The little baby now already bathed and wore a cute light blue baby clothes, and a young maid is carrying him with a smile.
And after the head servant knocked twice, they all then enter together. The four people inside smiled when they saw their son and daughter.
"Greeting Father, Mother, Father-in-law, and Mother-in-law." Fuz greeted as he gave a slight bow to the four of them. Lyla followed what Fuz did and after shes done, she happily run to her mother and gave a hug, then she hugged her mother-in-law after that, saying a happy "Lyla is back :D" with a giggle.
Both mothers smiled while shook their head, this daughter really are one spoiled princess, despite that neither of them minded this behavior and are perfectly fine with this.
One of the fathers looked at the maid and the baby, their face suddenly darken as they thought something unexpected, and thus frowned. Fuz noticed their expressions and knew that they might be misunderstood, and hurriedly said, "Father, Father-in-law, this is our... Adopted child."
The four people sitting all stared at the baby they were holding. The atmosphere become strained.
