Chapter 20: His girlfriend
Tristan was confused, he suddenly felt pain when she saw Andrea. His head aches when he saw Andrea every time.
"who are you Andrea?" Tristan asked himself because he was really confused.
It's Thursday and Tristan had a date with Jenna. Jenna is his girlfriend, when Tristan lost his memory, Jenna was there and help Tristan to go to the hospital. She also help Tristan to get recover, but he really didn't remember anything in her past. He only remembered his surname. He's a Mendoza, that's just what he remembered.
"babe?"
"Yes?"
"are you okay? Is someone on your mind?"
"no babe. I'm just getting ready for the advisement"
"I know you will do great"
Jenna leans towards Tristan and kiss his forehead. "I'll get going then"
"okay, bye"
Tristan went to the company. As he arrives, Andrea arrives too. He looked at Andrea but Andrea continued to walked. She just ignored Tristan and keep walking.
Tristan went inside and sat on his swivel chair. He is staring at his laptop when someone enter his office without knocking.
"Mr. Mendoza, the models are here"
"Okay"
Tristan went out to see the models and was shocked when Jenna is one of the models.
"Why are you here babe?"
"Don't worry, I'm not here to make a scene. I'm just here to support you"
"okay, I thought your one of them"
"i would like to but I dont want to"
"okay then, I'll get going" Tristan leaves and Andrea arrives and meet Jenna.
"Ouh hi, Ms. Reyes"
"Hi Ms. Jenna, it's nice to meet you here." Andrea reached her hands to Jenna but Jenna did not reached it.
"How rude of you Ms. Jenna" Leah enter the scene.
"And who are you to talk to me like this?"
"It's okay Leah, let's go" Andrea was about to go but Jenna grabbed her hair.
"And who are you talk walked out on me?" Jenna said and Andrea just stay still.
Jenna let go of Andrea's hair and faced her. "So, your the Chairwoman of this company?" Jenna being a rude woman to Andrea. Andrea just stopping herself to fight Jenna.
"I have to go, I'm sorry for the disturbance ms. Jenna."
Andrea left and Jenna just smirked. She was happy to teased Andrea and annoy her.
"Babe?" Jenna approached Tristan and brought some towels to wipe his sweat. Andrea look at their direction and ignore them. She just glanced at him.
"Okay let's start" Tristan said and the models were gathered and take their positions.
"Sweet, Night, the perfume that everyone wanted. The perfume everyone was looking for. Introducing the Sweet Night perfume"
Andrea just looked at the performance.
"Long time ago, a man and woman fell in love together." your scent, uhmm smells good"the man whispered to the woman's ears. But then, the man got an accident and had an amnesia. He forget about everything. He forgot about their love. "
" 5,years ago, they meet again. The man stopped and shocked when he smell that scent. It smell good to him and that bought his memories back again. He found the girl and lived happily ever after. "
Tristan tells the story and Andrea was shocked. She remembered Dreb and her.
" who's idea is this? Why it's new? I didn't know about this? "
" It's mine. I just revised it and I really like this idea. The perfume is the reason why the man memory got back. So, our perfume is powerful to get a memory loss back" Tristan explain and Andrea were on tears.
"Don't you like it?"
"I liked it, and good job everyone" Andrea leaves. She was on tears and go to the bathroom.
She looked at the mirror and wiped her tears away. She was hurt about the idea because it reminded her their memories together.
"A? You okay?" Leah asked Andrea outside the bathrooms door.
"I'm fine Leah,"
"Just let it out A. I'm here"
"I said I'm fine"
"Okay, if you need anything just tell me" Leah left Andrea. Andrea took a very deep breath and opened the bathrooms door.
She bumped into Tristan. She was stunned and shocked.
"Chairwoman? Are you okay?"
"Yes I'm fine, it's just I'm touched to your story about the advertisement. Great job Mr. Mendoza"
"Thank you Chairwoman"
"You can call me C. A. inshort for chairwoman Andrea."
"okay, C. A"
Andrea just smiled and walked to her office. Leah was there waiting for her. Leah handed the tablet to Andrea and see the rating of the company. It's getting higher and higher.
"It's a high rating. We have done so good"
"So what are we planning to do with this A?"
"We will celebrate this. Tomorrow. Let's celebrate this tomorrow. Tell all the board members and staff"
"okay."
Andrea was left alone and watch her laptop. She was doing well now but there's something missing.
Earlier that day.....
who's idea is this? Why it's new? I didn't know about this? "
Tristan remember that in the last moment before the meeting. He got a new idea. It's about the mam who loss his memory and it got back when he found his true love.
Tristan bought up the new idea and Andrea did not knew about it. He wants to surprise all the board members.
They all gather in the conference room and he started to tell how the flow would go.
Afterward, he saw Andrea tears fell out. He fell a very familiar situation whem he saw Andrea's crying. And about the advertisement, his mind just bought up the idea and it's very painful to him. He had a feeling that he is going through a lot in mind. And he had a feeling about the advertisement, it's kinda familiar to him.
Andrea went home after she finished her works. She join her mom to eat dinner. Cassie and Kevin sleep early.
"Hi mom,"
"how's your day going?"
"It's fine mom. It's just tiring"
"I know it's tiring but I've heard the company's rating go higher. Your the best chairwoman Andrea. After you sat on your position. You had done enough for our company. Good job Andrea" her mom hugged her and she was on tears.
"Why are you crying?"
"I'm just happy mom, I'm happy that I didn't disappoint you and dad"
"You never disappointed me and your dad. I know your dad is really proud of you right now"
They finished their dinner and Andrea went to her room. She lay on her bed and put on her blanket. She turn on the aircon and slowly close her eyes.
Morning came, Andrea woke up and get up in bed. The sun strike on her eyes. The sun is so bright that she cannot clearly see. She closed her eyes and feel the heat of the sun.
She got up on bed and went to the bathroom. She take a bath and go downstairs to eat some breakfast.
"Good morning everybody"
"good morning Andrea" her mom and Cassie grated her but Kevin still silent.
"good morning Kevin"
"Nahh" Kevin is being rude and Andrea was annoyed.
"your so mean to me Kevin"
"Just eat Andrea" Kevin was teasing her before she sat down.
Andrea had finished her meal and went on a hurry as she received a call from the company.
"A? We have to deal with this" Leah tell Andrea about the location that she wanted to buy to build another branch for her perfumed.
"what is it? Is there any problem about that?"
"Yes there is A. The lot owner is declining the offer"
"Why? What's the problem?"
"I don't know A. But we have to fix this."
"Investigate this and find who's behind this and report it to me immediately."
Leah left and find some information why the lot owner back off of their deal.
"Mr. Bush? Can I talk to you?" Leah walked towards Mr. Bush and talked about the deal.
"I don't want to sell my lot anymore. I have bigger and greater plans for my lot. I'm so sorry" Mr. Bush tell Leah but Leah can feel he's lying.
"your lying Mr. Bush, just tell me the truth" Leah looked at Mr. Bush eyes and Mr. Bush looked away.
"I-I'm, it's difficult for me too. But someone will buy this triple of the deals price"
"who is this? Who's the new buyer?"
"it's Ms. Jenna, she promised me and tell me that I can't sell my lot to the company who are not able to take care of their customers."
"but you did sign the contract to us Mr. Bush, you can't leave us just like that"
"I know but I can't sell this to your company"
" My boss will come here, please don't disappoint us"
Andrea arrived and saw Mr. Bush and Leah talking. She sat and Mr. Bush looked at her.
"why? You can't sell this? I thought we already agreed?"
"I, know but I want to sell this a much higher price than we have deal with"
"and who's gonna buy this?"
"Me" suddenly Jenna appeared. Andrea was stunned and couldn't believe what did she do to Jenna. Why Jenna have to do this.
"Jenna?" Leah said confusing.
"Yes tmis there any problem with this?"
"Mr. Bush and I already agree with this. Im buying this lot." Andrea answered but Jenna still had confidence to fight to Andrea.
"You can't buy this. I want to buy this for my boutique"
"We had already got an agreement." Andrea show the contract but unexpectedly Jenna cut the contract into pieces.
"why did you do that?"
"as I said. I'm buying this. Triple time in your deal price."
Andrea smirked before speaking. "so, you want this huh. Im gonna fifth times the price."
"you really are something Andrea" Jenna left with a disappointment.
"you should sign the contract Mr. Bush. You have told me if the price isn't enough. I can buy this as much as it cost"
"I'm so sorry chairwoman. I'm just needing large amounts of money" Mr. Bush signed the contract then Andrea and Leah leave.
What is Jenna motive of doing this things?
Did she knew, Andrea and Tristan had a past?
