Chapter 3: Knowledge First
I've been living in this world called DOLD; and right now all I can question is why name the world DOLD. Like what in the hell type of name is that for a world. And who the fuck decided on its name?
Well any ways I learned a lot after talking to my "family". One this world is very christianize and I believe that the world is based off of the Ars Goetia. The Ars Goetia refers to 72 demons; and if there's 72 demons there should be 72 angels right? Second, there are also 72 towers called Heaven Shards. They say that the Heaven Shards were a part of heaven used to strike on the demons. And that monsters and devils live in them trying to leave hell and join the surface of man. Honestly they sound scary as fuck. Third, currency here is simple 100 coppers pieces equal 1 silver. 100 silver pieces equals 1 gold piece. Fourth, this world is currently in the medieval age. Most importantly fifth, there is magic in this world living every living being. Hopefully I can use magic.
There's also strong warriors. People call them star warriors. They get stronger through training and fighting. Their worth depends on how many stars are within their bodies. 4th star warriors to 6th star warriors are treated as great soldiers. And are usually recruited by nobles or the king. The strongest star warriors are nine star warriors and are treated with respect by nobles and the king. There are legends of ten star warriors. But they're considered hero's that fought with the 72 demons. And they're aren't anymore; they're also considered a myth.
I learned that the city I live in is called Klem, and that our baron or mayor is an ass hole. The baron's name is Christopher Key and he's an absolute scum. He takes our taxes and a fourth of our crops to trade to a mining town for jewels. Two years ago in winter he traded nearly a third of our crops. And twenty percent of us ended up dying, as well as my older brother Marcus. He's absolute garbage, he raises taxes to an absurd amount for the dumbest reasons like for stuff he wants. I even hear that those that try to rebel against him are sent to the gallows. I'll observe him for now, but I will no longer back down from a fight.
This world has given me strength to kill. One there is no FBI or guns. Two killing can be forgotten easily. Three money is power. And most importantly the fourth, my memories.
Having my memories anger me. I wasn't weak or scarred of anyone that bullied me. I was just scarred of the consequences. But in this world there is mostly no consequences! I'll kill whoever dares to try and harm me or gets in my way.
I also learned a couple things about my "family". My father is a hunter and was previously a warrior. As for my mother she's a fourth elf and she's a house home mom. And my sister she can use healing magic.
There's multiple races in this world. Humans, beast kin, elf, dwarves, and devil kin. Humans take up half of this worlds population. Beast kind take a fourth of this worlds population. Devil kin take a fourth of this worlds population. And elf's and dwarves are hidden races so it's hard telling how many there are. Elf kind live in nature hidden away. And dwarves live within mountains far from human territory. I guess just like in every "Isekai" every world is the same.
I also learned more about myself "Malken". I gather the crops many days of the week for a merchant called Allen. He gives me copper pieces depending on how much I gather. I use the money to pay for our family's seasonal taxes. And it empty's my pocket every time. Apparently I never use the money for myself, I use it for my family. I guess Malken was a vey kind hearted man. I have two friends ones name is Kyle the others name is Caleb. Their names are pretty generic seeing as to what my dad named me. I can also read this worlds language which is very useful.
And one thing taught to me by my "mother" is to not believe in the church or to trust them. She said that the church is very racist to all being except humans. And that they harm other races in the name of god. She as well told me don't get involved with them or to let them know that I'm an 8th elf or else they will take me away.
If they do take me away I hope it's by a very Christian girl who likes to be punished. That would be so very hot. And I didn't say this before but the men and women in this world look like they could be holly wood actors. They're so good looking! Even myself not gonna lie.
I have two goals now. Become very successful by becoming a noble. And having my own harem.
