Chapter 3: Two Built Men Arrives
After Feng Mian got out of the car, Wang Shu sped up and tried to put some distance between them. With his captain's location on the GPS heading straight, he decides to take the opposite route, diverting the ones behind him. There were other vehicles passing by; witnesses.
In the rearview mirror, he watched the truck closing in the distance. "They wouldn't cause a scene, will they?"
At that very moment, he felt the instant his car had been captured in the monster's jaw. The truck pushes against the door on the passenger side. He tries to dislodge his car from its grip. 'Come on. Come on,' He ground his molars.
The driver behind him was equally determined- not to lose him. As they finally pinned Wang Shu in a corner, one by one. They started getting out of their truck heading to his disarranged car. Wang Shu had no other choice but to face them. "1 against 5 is a bit unfair." He said as he stepped out. "Come on, be like a man."
The men ignored his words and came at him all at once. It wasn't much different from the practice Wang Shu had daily. It was a breeze for him until the driver shot him, Propofol. Making him lose focus and eventually pass out. The man that was getting beaten up by him, took this chance to get revenge; coming at him proudly this time.
"Keep him alive. We might need him."
"Where is the other one?" There was silence. "Check the car!" As they were instructed, one of the men found the GPS Wang Shu hid inside a drawer and turned on the GPS. "Look." It pinpoints Nian Zhen's location. "Throw him inside and drive."
------Back to the present at Nian Zhen's house-----
"What should we do?" as Ru Shi asks panically.
"Either way we will die. Why not take the chance and trust that guy." Nian Zhen said while looking firmly at the front door which was about to break open.
As the front door was about to breakthrough, the three of them ran to the back door and opened it.
Outside stands a man with a black jacket, white t-shirt, black pants, and black pants. Nian Zhen observes him, and could tell he's all built up.
"First prove to us that you work for the government." Nian Zhen asks him.
Feng Mian took out his badge, and Nian Zhen puts her face in to see it clearly.
" Feng Mian. Captain of the army force." Nian Zhen awkwardly laughs after reading it, and shifts back.
"Where's the luggage?" as Feng Mian asks. He doesn't want to waste any time longer. But before Nian Zhen or the others could answer him. The front door is kicked open.
"I guess it's not only you that are looking for the luggage," as Nian Zhen looks at him panically.
All three of them move behind Feng Mian, as they hear screaming and yelling.
"If you want the luggage, then protect us," Nian Zhen tells Feng Mian.
Feng Mian rolls his eyes, "miss how could I go fight those guys if you're behind me like that. You will just hold me back."
Nian Zhen doesn't care, and just gripes his shirt tighter. "Where could we go? There's no other place more safer than being next to you." Both Ru Shi and Ying Yue nod in agreement to what Nian Zhen said.
Feng Mian has no choice but drags them where the bushes are and tell them to stay down.
"Don't make a noise or go anywhere until I come back."
The three of them nod, and Feng Mian walks in the house.
They didn't know what happened inside, but they could hear from a distance of things crashing.
"Will he be fine?" as Ying Yue asks.
Nian Zhen doesn't know, but she knows that he is their only hope to be safe. She crouches behind the bushes and prays that he will come out safely.
After a short while, the crashing stopped and there was absolute silence. No one knows what happens inside, or if anyone is hurt.
"Did he defeat all of them?" as Ru Shi nervously asks.
"I don't know, but let's just wait and see first." Nian Zhen said calmly.
The door swing opened and came walking out a wounded man. But actually not that wounded.
Nian Zhen took a peek and saw it was Feng Mian. She and her friends walk out the bush and walk over to him.
"Are you okay?" as Nian Zhen asks while looking at the wound on his face.
There were a few bruises on his face, and they were not that serious. But when Nian Zhen looked down, there was blood dripping. Feng Mian got stabbed from the back and it went through his stomach. He has been putting force to stop the bleeding using his hand. But there's still blood flowing out.
In a sudden, another man came walking out the door wounded. But also not that serious.
"Ahh so handsome," as Ru Shi said it quietly.
"Shh." Nian Zhen gives her an eye look. "Who are you?" she asks carefully.
"I'm Captain Feng Mian's left-hand man, and also the First Lieutenant, Wang Shu." After introducing himself, he went over to give Feng Mian a hand.
"We should call for the ambulance." Ying Yue looks down on all the blood and quickly turns around holding in her vomit.
"Nah. We are fine." Wang Shu said while tying a cloth tightly around Feng Mian's wound. "We will be on our way after you hand over the suitcase."
"He is not fine!" Nian Zhen shouted. She covers her face trying to think straight. "Inside my house. There's a book bag filled with random pins outside. I have... "
"You brought them along?" Ru Shi's eyes widened.
"What are you?" Wang Shu wondered why he should listen to her.
"Just get it!"
He glanced over at Feng Mian and went inside. "She's like a female version of him."
After coming out with the bag Nian Zhen demanded. "Let's move to a safer place."
"My car is toast..."
"We have a rental car." Ru Shi informed. "Blood is a problem..."
"Ying Yue's office is closer and they wouldn't know about it."

They close all blinds and lock the door. Ying Yue kindly directed Wang Shu to lay Feng Mian on the floor by the sofa. Wang Shu gave her a look 'like the floor, not the sofa' and she just smiled and nodded, "The floor."
"Let me see the wound now." Nian Zhen went over to their side and as she reached to untie the cloth Wang Shu stopped her hand. "Why should I trust you?"
"Cause we are already here and you guys don't want to go to the hospital."
"Still can't believe you have them." Ru Shi said, opening her bag. "We should always be prepared," Nian Zhen quoted one of their professors. She cleaned his wound and took out the surgical thread. "It's gonna hurt a bit." He handled the pain with ease.
After that, all is done.
"Ah. The suitcase." Wang Shu took the case and checked if the thing was inside.
"Where are you mister? When your captain was in danger?" Ru Shi questioned as he checked. "He was in danger?" Wang Shu tried to hold back his laugh. "Sis, I was shot before rescuing him."
"Shot?"
"HM. They drugged me but my skin is too thick." Showing off his arm muscle, "Yah see, when he was inside fighting chicken. I woke up seeing someone aiming at my captain."
As Wang Shu was still explaining, Feng Mian's phone suddenly rang.
"Captain! I think Rex tipped us off."
"Yeah, Kind of figure." Rubbing his wound that was on his face, "Leave him there and head back. We're done here."
