Chapter 3: Shadows
The next day, Kyoko wakes up, thinking that everything that had happened yesterday was a dream, but she put that aside and prepared to go to high school.
In high school, Kyoko has questions in her head about the so-called Crystal Elements. Kyoko is an element carrier? Or just with abnormal powers? On the other hand, the teacher calls his attention to not getting up to read the next reading. Satoko looks at her worriedly.
Already at lunchtime, Satoko asks if she feels good and Kyoko responds with the same enthusiasm as always. But this time Satoko did see something strange with that enthusiasm in her, so she asked again but with a challenging look. Kyoko lost to Satoko and told the truth. Yesterday she met a person, he had abnormal powers just like Kyoko. He said that he worked for The Empire and was collecting the so-called Crystal Elements.
Satoko comments that she does not know much about The Empire but what she does know is that they made changes in other cities but she doubts about something they were collecting out of the ordinary. Kyoko was still talking to her about these elements according to what she understood is that Kyoko carried the Element of Water, but later the bearer no longer told her anything else and disappeared. Satoko comments on those powers that Kyoko has, She obviously does not know where she got them or they appeared but if she is a kind of element then it would explain why she only controls the water. Kyoko mentions that the necklace she has is what gave her that kind of power. Satoko now knows where she got it from. The day continued normally until the end of classes.
When leaving, Kyoko notices the person with whom he confronted yesterday but hooded, in a moment he disappears. Kyoko searches for him until she finds him again and starts chasing him. Satoko's loss of what was happening follows Kyoko. After a while, they reached an abandoned place, there was the Carrier. "Are you going to think things through already?" exclaims the Carrier. Kyoko asks "What do you really want my item for? If we are people with abnormal powers then shouldn't we be friends?" "Enough," Says the Carrier and starts to fire an attack but this time Kyoko confronts him and stops him. "Why should I be your ally? If we carry an element, it does not mean that it is kind to you" says the Bearer. Kyoko trying to stop the attacks says: "And what you have, it doesn't matter if we are friends or not, we are what you say, Elements!" Kyoko ends by stopping the attack.
Satoko with her mind in heaven of what was happening was speechless. The bearer thinks a bit about what Kyoko said, * Maybe she can be of help to me, but she is only one, "so the Bearer thinks until he looks at Satoko and says to himself "Could it be ..? "
So the Carrier proposes something to Kyoko, she included her friend in this too. "In that abandoned area in which they were, there was an unported item. if you two find it, I will be their Ally," Said the Carrier. Surprised, Kyoko accepts it. Satoko felt that something was wrong and asked her: "What is the reason for this change?" "Nothing, they just thought things through clearly," Says the Carrier. Satoko with a face that looks bad.
Kyoko begins to search, checking each part while Satoko dies from the damage that had been. Until they found it, the Element was in a deep part of a room, it was found by Satoko since he noticed a light shining there. she grabs it and the following happens. It begins to transform into a bracelet as if it were for someone, with curiosity Satoko put it on and began to see shadows in the place. He got scared and started running and looking for Kyoko.
Kyoko loitering until she hears her friend Satoko cry for help, she arrives saying that there are ghosts in the place and she wanted to get out of there. "But I don't see any," says Kyoko. Suddenly the Carrier appears and Satoko is scared of what is already and the carrier says the following. "The reason is the bracelet you bring, it has a power that only the person can see or hear, and what you wear is the Element of Shadows."
After finding the element, Kyoko insists on what the Bearer proposed to him to be Allies. And he says yes, they will be allies. Now Satoko had another occupation that she had to order and it was the item she carried. But Satoko still with doubts about him asks the Bearer: "If we are going to make allies then shouldn't you say your name ?!" The bearer says his name is Renji and he is the bearer of Time.
The next question Satoko asked her as if she's a carrier, how can she control what she's hearing around her and that sort of thing. He said you have to get used to it and get to the point of controlling your element. With that said, Renji says goodbye. Satoko was outraged because she still didn't have confidence in him. Already leaving the place, Kyoko and Satoko go to their houses.
In a corner of the abandoned place, "Another carrier? ehhhh."
