Ryan had his mouth opening and closing simultaneously as he couldn't grasp the meaning behind her words. He was trouble thinking about what she had seen. Lauren kept her gaze firm as she observes him behaving awkwardly.

"What d-did you see?" He questions stuttering as he looks away. Lauren cocks her brow up confused by his question. She wondered what he might be thinking. "What do you mean?" She questions backs.

"I-I mean... what did you see?" He says finally looking directly at her. She clears her throat and speaks. " I saw you... running upstairs with your face all wounded. So I followed you with the kit. " She says looking away.

Ryan sighs nodding his head looking away. "I-I see..."

"Now let me clean you up and then bandage?" She asks looking at her hands which were still grabbed by him. He follows her eyes to their hand. He awkwardly leaves her hand from his hold and nods his head looking away with flushed cheeks.
